[Q] Samsung Email App on another Android Device

Hello together,
i have searched an email app, that can handle two different exchange accounts, and that can move emails to spezific folders. I have not found any 3rd party app that can handle both functions together.
And then: I have got the first Samsung Galaxy S2 into my fingers, and the Samsung Email app can handle this.
Is there a way to port this app to other Android devices? Im using HTC HD2 with Android 2.3.5...

[Q] SGS3 Exchange APK on Nexus?

I'm currently playing around with Exchange 2010 and i noticed that
all the nexus roms (maybe all ics roms) doesn't support sms sync
over exchange active sync. all the samsung galaxy devices do support this,
is it possible to port the exchange.apk of the sgs3 to the nexus?
does anybody know which apk handles the sync? maybe the mms app
is involved too?! would be really nice to have full exchange support on
the nexus and other ics roms.
thanks,
christian

[Q] Anyway to bring Note II stock email app to S3?

The stock email app on the interational version of the Note II (N7100) allows html emails and sub folders to be seen. It also allows emails to be moved to any folder or subfolder (which are seen in the same manner in which they appear in outlook.) The stock email app on the s3 does not do any of this (consistent with older samsung smartphones). I know I can use touchdown and get these issues dealt with, but is there anyway to get the Note II stock email app over to the S3? Would love to be able to do it and use the natural integration that comes with it (and does not occur with touchdown). Thanks for any insight on this - bshaw100.

[Q] Getting stock email app to work in AOKP/CM10.1

The thread below has a list of stock APKs and I would like to get the stock email app (Samsung's version) to work in either AOKP or CM 10.1. I have tried to copy it to my system/app folder and applied permissions rw-r-r as specified but I've had no luck.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1969991
The reason I want this is simple, I need to option to sort my emails by read/unread and to zoom out in portrait mode which is not available in the stock android email client in AOKP/CM.
This is a crucial feature for me. Also any help to get these features in the stock clients would be available.

As a side note, the following alternatives are no good:
GMAIL app as I have 2 exchange accounts that I also use on a daily basis.
K9 doesn't support exchange 2010 so that is not an option.
Maildroid because it doesn't want to work with one of my exchange accounts (tried everything - no solution)

PS:
I also tried posting directly in the thread in question but was blocked by the system (not "experienced" enough).
This is out of the question. The email app uses Samsung frameworks and drivers which do not work on aosp

so do you know of a way to get these features working on the aokp/cm email apps?
No idea other then building them into the source code and submitting it to the cm/aokp team. There are tuts around that may help you get started.

Third party keyboards on the S20 series.

In December 2019, Samsung has disabled third party keyboards if using Knox / Work profile. (www.shorturl.at/bsFJK). Admin has to enable a third party keyboard for it to be used (which my IT group refuses to do so I am stuck on the default Samsung keyboard on my S10+ which is terrible).
Samsung also said that this will reversed in the upcoming update and third party keyboards will again be allowed, unless blacklisted by the admin.
Can anyone tell me whether they are able to use third party keyboards on their S20 / S20+ / ultra?
Thank you.

Is this with Microsoft Intune or the Intelligent Hub or how is the work profile managed? May I ask you which version of Knox you have?
If it works under 3.5 then presumably they have fixed the issue and third party keyboards can be used again which would be great news.

Is this being controlled by work place admin?
For example I used to connect my workplace email to samsung email and to connect to the outlook server it implemented many policies to my phone, which restricted many things, and among the things restricted is usage if third party keyboard.
To work around this i just installed outlook app on the phone and removed the outlook from my samsung email. It removed the restriction and all those policies implemented by IT department. I can even use my third party keyboard (swift) now on outlook app.

Yeah that doesn't work for me. Outlook communicated with Intune and the Intelligent Hub and unless they all sit in the work profile I can't access my emails.
Will need to wait until a fix is included in the next version of Knox.
