Hello together,
i have searched an email app, that can handle two different exchange accounts, and that can move emails to spezific folders. I have not found any 3rd party app that can handle both functions together.
And then: I have got the first Samsung Galaxy S2 into my fingers, and the Samsung Email app can handle this.
Is there a way to port this app to other Android devices? Im using HTC HD2 with Android 2.3.5...

I was curious as to how to go about porting an app from a different device. I long ago had the galaxy email 2.2 app port and wish to have the galaxy tab email again. I am really interested in knowing how to port the email app myself so I can have a better understanding of porting apps. So basically can anyone point me in the direction to start this process? This question is really users who use the Android Calendar app sync'ing with Exchange calendar.
How many of you wish there is a way to reply or reply-all to the meeting attendees from the Android Calendar application? This one (lack of) really annoys me b/c if I'm running late for a meeting, there is no way for me to send reply to the organizer or other attendees I'm running late. Instead, I am forced to create a new email, type in & look up the organizer, type in a new subject line & message to notify other attendees.
Interestingly, my co-worker with a AT&T Samsung Galaxy S (not S2) recently got a gingerbread update from ATT and his updated calendar app (although appears identical to one on my T-Mo GS2) offers this feature. So, when he is in the calendar item, he selects menu... the android calendar app presents you with Reply or Reply All as options. On my phone, I get a Delete or Send Via... and those, IMO, are totally useless.
Anyone know if there is a ROM that has the ATT GS calendar app with the Reply | Reply All option that would work on the TMO GS2?

The stock email app on the interational version of the Note II (N7100) allows html emails and sub folders to be seen. It also allows emails to be moved to any folder or subfolder (which are seen in the same manner in which they appear in outlook.) The stock email app on the s3 does not do any of this (consistent with older samsung smartphones). I know I can use touchdown and get these issues dealt with, but is there anyway to get the Note II stock email app over to the S3? Would love to be able to do it and use the natural integration that comes with it (and does not occur with touchdown). Thanks for any insight on this - bshaw100.
As a user of Nexus phones for the last few years it's going to take me a bit of getting used to the differences that samsung make on the note. However I really hate the email app on here (normal, not gmail). Is it possible to get the stock android email app? It's not in the play store unfortunately.

I have over 10 email addresses on my Samsung Note 10.1 2014. I use TypeMail app for my email. Now I am thinking of using the stock samsung email app. Is there a way to automatically add all my emails to the stock email app, without adding them one by one?
Secondly, is there any advantage in using the stock app over TypeMail?

1. Dont think so. The accounts are app specific as far as I know. If you use gmail or outlook, you might be able to use the gmail / microoft accounts respectively, but not all.
2. Depends on your needs. I havent used Typemail, but stock is strong for
a. integration with other stock apps on the tablet, makes attachments, contacts, images etc handling that much easier.
b. If you use SPen and like writing or sketching in emails, its possible only in stock
c. Great functionality for printing, making events, invites, tasks etc straight from the email. Also can save emails like in Outlook desktop, which again automatically get their own folder in My Files. Printing emails is simple.
d. Has a 3 pane view which can be useful on a tablet.
On the downside, the interface looks dated and it cant be themed.
