Hello Friend
i saw this product on engadget and officiel web site of logitech, will this keyboard case work with Note 10.1. ?
http://www.logitech.com/en-ch/product/ultrathin-keyboard-folio-for-samsung-galaxy-tab?crid=1221
Regards
I doubt so.
Firstly, the dimensions of the Tab3 10.1 and Note 10.1 are different.
Secondly, the positions of the buttons, earphone plugs, and charger type (microusb vs Samsung proprietary) are also different.
Perhaps you can email them to ask if they will produce one for the note 10.1.
i tried to call them, and waited about 15 min no one answered , so i will wait till they sell on other accessories stores ..

The original galaxy tab has a external keyboard for it , will it release for this gt10.1 ? Hope to have a keyboard that make me easier to type mails n gaming
I can see Samsung making a keyboard dock for gTab 10.1.
Must Have! As its replacing my dead netbook for the internets surfing.
I would be happy with just a smallish dock where we can plug in usb Keyboard and Mouse that charges and maybe HDMI out ect. Cheap enough to have one at work and one at home.
If this doesn't come about i guess it bt keyboard/mouse combo will have to do.
Anyone know if there if the 3rd parties have started making them?
Cheers.

I was reading some of the comments on the Vodafone blog and came across this:

HELP NEEDED:
Will the new accessories (announced for galaxy tab 10.1: BT Headset, Sound Station, Desk Dock and USB Connection Kit) be available for this model also? This is quite important for me to decide…

These accessories are available for the Galaxy Tab 10.1v, however we will not be selling them.

So I guess we can count those as accessories we can use?

The GT10.1 P7510 we were given at I/O has two circular charging contacts on each side of the charging port. Hopefully that equates to a charging dock that doesnt require plugging in.

They did mention some docks during the reveal (forgot where it was, maybe CTIA?). Lets just hope Samsung won't take 5 months to release it though like they do for their phones.
If anyone knows, how long did it take for the original Galaxy Tab accessories to come out?
Logitech released a keyboard and separate mouse being marketed for Android 3.x tablets today on their website. The mouse is only for 3.1 devices according to the promo materials. The keyboard is a nice small keyboard with a case that is supposed to support the tablet as an easel when its not holding the keyboard. They're all Bluetooth devices.
I like the devices but wonder if they're with the price premium.

I tested them with an ohm-meter, they are not conductive. They look like screw access covers.
Not sure if anyone has seen this, and I'm just assuming it's for the new 10.1

Wonder if that 10.1 Samsung branded keyboard will control my 7in Galaxy Tab? They definately have the same plugs on the bottom.

I wouldn't doubt it. There's a video on YouTube where a kid has an I/O 10.1 and has a dock for his 7in Galaxy Tab. Did a little modification and the 10.1 works on the dock and does hdmi mirroring. He probably didn't adjust his overscan on his tv though.

Video of the keyboard, close up and stuff.
It's quite poor, since it's priced around 80$... But as a desk dock it's hell of a good one.

There's also a case with an integrated bluetooth keyboard in it, that is an official samsung accesory, that costs 150$ LOL...

Hi,
I have a Samsung I9000 and have lost the headphones. (My Labrador dog found them very tasty!)
I tried purchasing some more generic ones as the Samsung web site does not have any.
The new headphones have a single button on them. When you press the button, the headphone volume is OK. When you release the button the volume goes very low and not clear at all.
Does anyone know where in the UK I could get some replacement headphones that actually work?
I need the headphones to work and also the FM radio to work.

this is original samsung accessoire, but they are better than stock
may be reffered as "Galaxy Tab P1000 Headphones", but they are suitable for i9000
1. Accesories thread.
2. Why replacement? on eBay you'll find original...
eBay is your best bet.
any nokia headset would do too... it has something to do with the way the contacts are arranged in the plug.. the thing you are describing about the volume when you press the button is because of that, if you use the samsung headset on a blackberry or an iphone the same should happen... let's say there are two kinds of headsets, motorola, blackberry, iphone goes one way and nokia, samsung go the other with the sgs1, do not buy the headsets from sgs2 or galaxy tab10.1, because they are the same kind of the moto/blackberry/iphone.
and i think i read somewhere that there is a connector that allow the use of the other kind.
hope this helps.
(anyone feel free to correct me)
Thanks francescopp, you are correct, to get earphones for SGS you must buy Nokia/SGS spec. It is the connections to the four pin plug that differ in the two systems, and the only adapter that I've seen was made as a four connection plug with a four connection socket on the back, obviously with pin reversal wired in. The only problem was the length that the plug/socket plus the earphone plug stuck out of the top of the phone, making it prone to damage.
You may want to wait for this pair of headphones: a-Jays One+
These headphones will definitely work with SGS and are far much better than stock ones. Reviews of a-Jays One, Two and Three are generally very positive.
They are coming out this month I think.
Hi I have one original still in un packed. If you want I can sell you. Drop me a reply with your contacts in pm.

Well, I found some P1000 Headphones, that even have Samsung written on them.
They do not work with the I9000.
They have "EHS24ATSBE" written on them.
I will search for another set...
Does anyone know any specifics on Samsung branded and third party accessories such as docks and extended batteries? I plan to use my Note II pretty heavily for games and movies and I think even a 3100mAh battery won't be enough to support my needs. I know the original Note had a third party 5400mAh battery with a replacement backplate (with a kickstand), and I'm hoping to find similar for the Note II at some point.
Similarly, if no extended battery, I'd like to find a Samsung dock for both car and home. (One for GPS/Music in the car, and the other as a desk clock for home)
Also, the developer section is pretty empty right now. This is the first time I've gone for a phone at launch. How quickly does development usually pick up for these kinds of devices? I'm hoping to have root as soon as possible so I can get Titanium Backup and restore some stuff from my CM10 Epic 4G. (Both the CM10 Epic and Note II are Android 4.1, so backups should be mostly compatible)
Check the Accessories forum for the Note II N7100. Those forums are much more lively, and the accessories are 100% interchangeable.
I already own the Tab 10.5, which I really love, but I only use it at home. Now I'm seriously considering buying a Tab 8.4 LTE + bluetooth headset to take out with me in my bag. I've realized that the least used function in my phone is actually making calls.
So, why not make the switch? Do any of you carry around a small tablet instead of a smartphone? Is it worth the trade off (size, drawing too much attention to oneself, etc)?
I am using tab s 8.4 as phone. For mobility the Note 4 is better, i.e. 6" as you already have the 10.5".
Yes im using it too as my main driver,
I use a 8.4 as my main unit day to day......
I use it with a Nokia BH-905i BT Noise Reducing headphones....
These days so many people wear headphones no-one bats an eye lid.....but how often do you see BT earpiece headsets these days?
I know it's a long shot, but if anyone has the keyboard dock for the n-8010 that you're no longer in need of, I'm interested in purchasing one. I believe it's Samsung part EKD-K14AWEGTGY or perhaps EKD-K14UWEGSTD would work as well.
All of the docks in eBay are for Galaxy Tab 10.1 and those won't work.
Hi, I have one. I bought it a few years ago, but I think you will be disappointed: is almost useless. When you connect the dock, the soft keyboard always comes up (at least with the original rom). This is very annoying. I don't know if it works better with other roms. Maybe I know that soon, because I am fed up with the original rom: more and more websites don't work properly anymore. I'm trying to install Lineage, but I still have to do some reading...
Oh, and if I remember well, the key buttons are of poor quality: often you will get a character twice. Like this: Hoow aare youu?
But I do live in the Netherlands, so that's a long way for you.
Ffonz.
If you do make the change to Lineage, you'll have a feature that will allow you to quickly switch the on screen keyboard on and off. It's a good OS and I am happy with it. By now, I'm almost ready to replace my Note 10.1 with something that has more than 16gb of storage, even though I still like this tablet.
