Just came across this web site while looking for horizontal 1080p wallpapers. Clearly, by the website name, they were intended for the Galaxy S4, obviously, since it is the popular device.
Figured I would share it with you all as I have found it increasingly difficult to find portrait 1080p wallpapers for my HTC One.

I, of course, take 0 credit for any of this. Merely sharing the link.
Happy personalizing
LOL how many wallpaper threads must there be?

We all spend hours on this forum, I look from my laptop to my phone every 5 minutes, it occurred to me that I would like some kind of cohesion between the two screens, like a better look to the forum, a more modern feel. People have said wm is behind in its gui, well in my opinion so is this forum! There appear to be a lot of very talented programmers and graphics people on the forum, maybe you are one? well have you given much back to the forum? Maybe someone could come up with a state of the art flash gui for the forum, so that it is as up to date as all our phones are. I don't know a lot about these things so maybe I'm just talking late night crap again, no one looks in here anyway, I could say anything, like make it look like an iphone No.
bump. the UI could be a bit smoother. I don't know if I'm talking late-night-overtime crap but that's my uncaffeinated opinion at present.
At least one person agrees, The colour scheme really does suck, c'mon graphics people, more black, fruit around the edges, little sheep for my New Zealand friend, these web pages are the dullest most interesting, we need a makeover.
I also disagree!
First, one thing I hate is flash!
Second, I just got used to the changes of going to vBullitn, last thing I want and I am sure a few people will agree with me is having to get used to a new interface. Thats always a bother whether you are switching OS or just changing forum appearance.
Third - if its not broken don't fix it! The forum works and does what it suppose to do so no reason to mess with it.
Tea & Coffee
The colours are easy on the eye for long periods, I found myself reading something yesterday on a music forum, it had a black theme, it was nasty, very harsh, but for me, despite all the excellent points it is just a little safe. I trained as a sculptor and I like to be a bit kinda "out there", this is such an inventive place, as an artist I find my creativity can be stifled by be the wrong space. If some person wanted to put together a new interface for the site couldn't it just run along side this site, like yahoo mail beta does to yahoo mail. One thing I have often thought would be good is to have branches on threads.
The old site really was the old site then. I love the picture, reminds me of a postcard I once saw "The men of West Cork" only less beardy.
Hi there!
What about a thread with good, smart and/or funny advertisements for our beloved Galaxy S2?
Here is my Swedish contribution.
The ads are from Samsung Sweden and are a direct answer towards Apple products. (Yes I know. It's not OK to kick someone that's already lying down)
The first one is called "Apple sauce".
Translated the text below the image goes like this:
"Apple sauce"
Samsung Galaxy S2 is the thinnest smartphone on the market. It has a sharper display, faster processor, longer battery time and with the new Android 2.3 you have bigger freedom. Compare with anything you want! "
The second advertisement is the newest and my favorite.
The image speaks for itself!!!
GalaxySII was here!!
I have this one as my lock screen!!
Please comment and show us your favorite advertisement for our beloved SGS2!!!

Maybe you would like the pac droid boot animation in my sig.

this is the only official advertisement i seen on TV here and to be honest i don't think it's particularly funny or much good either, they failed to show many of the superb features of the phone instead just having some hen laying eggs while the camera takes a photo
Much and all as i dislike Apple and the bloody iPhone ads that are always on but at least they show several features of that phone and that really is what Samsung need to do to convince more people to buy, if Samsung invested more in advertising they would triple their already impressive sales of the GS2.
I totally agree that Samsung should show the rest of the world what a great phone they have built!
In Sweden the SGSII has got the nomination "the worlds best mobile phone “ in tests, and I'm sure that has seriously boosted it's sales!

The best:
Unleash your fingers.
Although it doesn't advertise features too.
I can't find a thread for Samsung Galaxy Beam so I will put this information here...
I made a demo filmed at MWC2012 - Barcelona.

You can see the main functions and the projector. The video is in romanian but I am here for any questions.
Two Questions...
1)
Will this actually be released or is it just a "proof of concept" device?
2)
Will/does it have a AMOLED display or just an LCD?

Amazing phone .cool features ...
Very good concept for a phone
The phone has been released in the beginning of July. Is it so unpopular it doesn't get a special subforum?
What are you going to do with a projector in your smartphone ? In my mind, useless feature.
@ hypfo: You would use one if your job involves a lot of presentations or trainings where the content is the key aspect, not the quality of the image (not high profile executive meetings, but team briefings or trainings). It's also a nice feature for young people who could pull it out at parties to show videos and pictures to a broader audience. The price is a bit steep (same as a Galaxy S II in Romania), but the hardware differences are not huge and you get a projector in exchange.
I have used the phone for a week now and it's absolutely amazing! Here's a video review I made. I apologize for the bad quality in the dark shots, but my cameras are too average to handle it. I can assure you the image is crisp clear in complete dark rooms, but in even the slightest light you loose details and sharpness, and as you can see in my video, in the evening (it was 7 pm), you can't see a thing.

Feel free to ask questions!
SO im a small youtuber who loves phones, games and computers. And I've made a few videos about my HTC one x, but I figured I would make my first news video and it took me about 3 hours to do, gather my info, record my voice and edit it all. Im 15 btw, so Im quite young for what I know and do, but heres the link to my news video, its quite good in my opinion and if you like it, care to like comment and subscribe? maybe check out my other vids? well heres the video about the htc one, galaxy s4 rumours and the news chipsets to be released!MOD EDIT: Link removed.

Hey guys, I wasn't exactly sure where to post this, so forgive me if you feel it's in the wrong section.
I was thinking about starting a YouTube channel, making reviews of all the roms and kernels we have available to us, and also making tutorials on how to flash roms, and different things. Occasionally I will do unboxings also....I guess what my question is....would you guys be interested in watching video reviews of roms, kernels, etc? Trying to gage whether or not the videos will be well accepted or not.
Please be Honest! And if anybody has any YouTube tips they're willing to share, I'd love to hear it!

Haha, this has been a long-time project of mine, but I've always put it off for whatever reason. As someone who watches a lot of this stuff:
Keep it concise but don't be under spoken. I'd say 6-8 minutes is the sweet spot.
Don't have anything as your wallpaper that would make me judge you in the future. I don't care if you like starring at women all day for your wallpaper (this is so ironic because of my display picture but whatever), but in the "professional setting," keep it tasteful.
If you're unsure about something, don't make something up. Ugh. This one is important. But be confident, don't be shy about your reviews.
Video production quality is equally as important as the content itself. If you don't have a decent setup (mic, lightning, camera), I will most often click away because regardless of how relevant the content is, it is only part of the video experience.
Don't act like a prick if someone gives you constructive criticism. It looks poorly on your part. If someone says something that offends you, deal with it like an adult, or just don't bother. It's not like the comment really matters anyways.
Don't have random music in the back (especially with lyrics) that caters to a specific niche. Elevator-type music is fine if only to act as a filler, but beyond that detracts from the content itself.
Don't add video filters. Colour correct towards true to life colours as much as you can't. I don't want to see an instagram filter all over your content; it looks unprofessional.
Don't fidget. Cut the video if necessary. Rerecord if you aren't satisfied; we can tell if you rushed something.
And yeah, it's kind of a lot, but that's what I could think of off the top of my head. Good luck!
