Hi,
so my local is UAE, when I went to download the firmwares (For removing the "modified" thing), I found two versions, LYS and XSG. both of them have a PDA number different than the other, so I didn't know what to get, then I checked my phone and found this:
Baseband version:
N7100XXDMF1
BUILD NUMBER:
JZO54K.N7100XXDME6
Then I checked the LYS and XSG and all of them end with DMC/DMB
Then I checked the United Kingdom BTU, and I found the same as LYS and XSG, with the addition of DME6 (my mobile). Which I found weird cuz I bought my phone from the UAE, and it was an international version.
What I wanna do is roll back to a previous update, run Triangle Away, reset my status to Official, then update again.
How come I have the UK's update (I updated IN THE UAE), if my phone is from the UAE? or does the Build number don't matter which country I'm in?
One more question, If I flash the ROM via Odin, what am I risking? (phone brick, app loosing, data loose...etc)
thanks

any reasons?
XSG is country code for UAE
Another way to move back to original stat
-Open kies - tool - firmware initialization - follow wizard
But this way you lose data.

but how come I have the BTU update? also LYS is also UAE, Du maybe?
If your device have BTU rom then you will get updates from btu only. Probably when you have purchased rom you may have btu version installed instead of UAE.
What you are getting by dialing *#1234#

if u don't have EFS backup u will end up with fake imei if u go back to DMC3 from MF1 so maybe the network wont work

Your device country code is written next to the serial number on the Retail Box.
I would suggest that you stick to the rom which belongs to your country code to avoid any problem that may be caused by loosing your EFS data.
If your are not under warranty, it does not matter which country code you are using any way.

First, on the Box I found samsung.com/fr , which means the Mobile is French. So I went to sammobile, searched France (XEF) and found the CSC and PDA, and when I run in my phone *#1234#, I get the CSC and PDA which are the exact same as the French XEF 4.1.2 update.
So that means my phone is french and I should install French Versions...Guess this is why I got the 4.1.2 update not available in the uae.
That i already said, if your device have other country rom, you can update from any place when installed country version have updates. Match all three,
Ap, cp and csc
Sammobile zip file have only pda and csc mentioned but when you extract it, tar file will have all three.
Just download. 1-2mb and explore it with unzip to find full name.

Just flashing the new firmware wouldn't do the job. You will have to make sure that you have the DUTCH CSC code.. I think its "PHN"..
You can confirm this by connecting your phone to Kies... If Kies says, it doesn't supports firmware upgrade, then your CSC doesn't matches. You may have to factory reset your handset..
Backup your data before doing any changes.

So if i flash the dutch PHN firmware from samfirmware and perform a factory reset my CSC will automaticaly be PHN? I was planning to do a factory rest anyway, because i will go from French 4.1.2 to dutch 4.1.1...
1-Download and install any FW you want from Sammobile.com with PC Odin.
2-In your phone dialpad enter: *#272*followed by your devices IMEI number and finish it with #.
3-Now you will see many CSC of countries.
4-choose the one you want and Save.
5-Now once you have pushed the Save Button there is no going back your phone will FACTORY RESET and you will lose all the Data on your phone so be careful.
Yes. It will do the job... Sometimes you may have to factory reset the device twice.. So once you factory reset it, connect it to kies and see what it says in Firmware upgrade section.. If it says it cannot support firmware upgrading, then factory reset your device again.. Normally by second reset, the CSC will be properly set to PHN.

I am sure i entered my imei nr correctly, even tried with an csc changer app to automaticaly do it for me.

didnt work out for me.. :/ i filled *#272*IMEI# but it didnt took me to a screen or something..
what i wanted to do is.. i was on 4.1.1 Lux (Belgium).. and flashed tru odin 4.1.2 Poland but i want the lux belgium CSC, is it that important?
Meaning your IMEI doesn't correspond with the selected CSC,may be you should have changed the CSC first and only then flashed the new ROM.

help me plz...
Preface: I'm old man and this is my first post feeling exhausted after reading topics I don't fully understand. Please bear with me.
My trusty old Note 2 has had some issues that made me to look for a replacement Note 2 (I spare you for the reasons why still Note 2). Few days ago I won an eBay auction and received an unlocked GT-N7100 supposed to be new.
The very first I did was install of Phone Info Samsung app. This app told my new phone was rooted and Firmware region was Hong Kong. I did a test phone call to my friend: OK, worked normal. Then I took several screenshots of Phone Info's reports, and did the same on my old Note 2 for comparison.
My main concern was to unroot this phone to ensure some for me essential apps would function on it after migration from my old Note 2. I followed online guide and successfully flashed with the H-K firmware N7100ZSUFNJ2. I understood this same region version was required but later I could flash firmware of my choice, the same Nordic I have on my old.
After reboot I tried to make phone call: Not registered on network. I thought first this problem appeared because of firmware and downloaded and flashed Nordic N7100XXSFQA1: the same network problem. The SIM card is the same I use on my old Note 2. More search led me to this possible solution: "How to fix not registered on network" (https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2745274)
Unfortunately flashing MODEM.tar.md5 didn't solve my problem. So far I had not paid attention to the different IMEI on the label vs dialing *#06# / displayed by Phone Info. This different IMEI was the same before my unrooting process. How come I could make phone call despite this error, it's beyond me?
Another issue on this new phone is that when S-Pen is inserted it claims pen is detached, and when pulled out the S-note won't appear. How come, can be solved?
Please experts, help me to solve this problem. I am ready to supply more info if required.

First thing I recommend is booting into download mode to confirm the model number. Download will show the actual model number.

I understood the firmware version should be the same in order to unroot successfully. Right now downloading the linked version. Thank so far.
After flashing with linked FW
So I downloaded the file you linked to. Here are screenshots of Phone INFO, on the left before any flashing, on the right after this latest. Need for any other screens?
The bootloader on the left is older at nj2 mixed with qa2. Weird that there is no CSC information.
The picture on the right is more consistently qa2.
The phone you purchased was definitely not new as the IMEI from the dialler should match the IMEI on the phone's printed label.
If flashing the latest firmware doesn't solve the calling issue, not sure what else to suggest other than trying firmware for a different country or a custom ROM.

You asked for CSC info, well here three screenshots. On the left my eBay Note 2 initially, the red in middle is my own Note 2, and on the right eBay after all flashing so far.
EDIT: I forgot to insert SIM on ebay Note2 before screenshot. When inserted the MobileOperator reads elisa / 24405. Interesting, the "24421" missing. Saunalahti was subsidiary of elisa, now merged to main company.
I've read that the differing IMEI issue can be cause if you flashed firmware that contains a lower version modem than what you already had. You can try flashing the latest bootloader and modem for this device with Odin (download in this post). Extract the .rar file and place the file starting with BL in the BL tab and CP in the CP tab in Odin.

The CSC changed to Hong Kong because that's what was in the rom you flashed.

After flashing a stock ROM, are you able to try other sim cards in the phone?
Search result on tampered IMEI
Curious as I am I tested the IMEI displayed by dialing *#06# on three databases. One couldn't tell, two others told this phone were Ericson A3618s. Wow!
On the other hand, Phone INFO's General claims this Note 2 were White while in reality Titanium grey.
Have you made any further progress?
Is it possible that the imei on the battery label has been blacklisted which is why the motherboard was programmed with another imei?
Try entering both imei numbers here: https://www.mobileincanada.com/

Thanks for caring about this problem still. The Canadian site looks more about unlocking. My previous post told about search result from http://www.imeipro.info/ stating the imei on label is clean. I just re-visited another database for second time http://www.imei.info and there I had to pay for Black list check which takes up to 48 hours.
BTW I have kept eye on eBay and wonder how Note 2s are flooding there... Although the seller won't accept returns I wrote request to return in hope eBay takes this as resolution... have to wait a couple of days before that process may start.
Hi guys,
I need your help: I get a Galaxy S9 with active CSC set in SMP (it is an unknown version because it's a sample).
I flashed a multi CSC firmware SM-G960F because I need an ITV (Italy) CSC on it (I want OTA and also Samsung Pay Service).
I don't know why, but when I flash the CSC it set automatically on Germany/DE Status with no chance to change it. The Active CSC remains SMP and CSC Status sets into Germany/DE.
I'm sure I've downloaded from Updato the ITV version of the firmware.
In the past years it was very simple because it need only the correct firmware of your country region to solve the problem. But now with this damn Multi CSC it is impossible!
I tried many ways and guides found here but no one solved the problem.
I wanna change it without rooting the device.
Any suggestions?
Thank you so much in advance

Apparently it's impossible to get around it because of this multi CSC no matter what firmware you flash it will not get rid of the carrier firmware on the phone.
qualcomm 9650ds, flashed a multi csc firmware, a window popped up:
SIM card change Restart your phone to configure the functions compatible with your new SIM card. This will reset the phone to its default settings and delete all data, including files and downloaded applications. NOW NO RESTAB. AND RESTART
After restarting, the correct csc has been read. (probably has something to do with the Sim card)
PS: if chosed now no, the 4g signal bar showed LTE; if yes, the bar showed 4g

Hi first post, please be gentle
I've got an s9 which is on EE UK, I flashed the phone with stock firmware, I did run into a couple of issues where when flashing the phone it got stuck on odm.img so I had to start again but using CSC and not home CSC so I lost everything
When the phone rebooted, it started up in German, so as I had my sim card in, it restarted in English
I'm using the following
G960FXXU2CSA2/G960FOXM2CSA2/G960FXXS2BRK3
Service provider SW SAOMC_SM-G960F_OXM_DBT_PP_0009
DBT/XEU/EVR
When I check for updates I get the following
Your current software version isn't supported. Visit a service centre
Can anyone help on how to put this right, I want to stay on stock firmware, not EE firmware
Thanks in advance
Good morning, I have a problem with my S9 model G9600 which came from the factory with the firmware of Hong Kong, however I tried to change the firmware for the one in Colombia because some voice services of the operators only work with the software of the country. But when trying to flash the part of CSC I mark the error and obviously the installation fails as in a kind of A brick because the logo of Galaxy S9 does not pass and is only solved by reinstalling the firmware with which it came from the factory; I have already made sure that the binary is the same, however I can not find a solution. I attach photos of the error.

are you having an identical issue? i ask that because resolutions are very specific. Flashing firmware from www.sammobile.com/firmwares is very commonly the fix for a great many issues, but id hate to have you go thru the trouble of doing so if its not necessary
I tried flashing using odin but didnt work. btw, im using SM-965U and currently residing in Thailand. I dont know if this is the reason why I cant update at all.
S9 message
I am in the U.S. and am getting the message that software isn't supported also. Is there any resolution to this problem?
In case it helps, I was having this same issue with my unlocked Galaxy Note 10+. I found this thread after searching. I had gotten into this situation by flashing CP/AP/BL from TMO firmware without also flashing TMO's CSC or USERDATA. I avoided CSC/USERDATA (I was using the home CSC) because I wanted to avoid wiping the phone.
When I finally gave up and flashed CSC and USERDATA, everything was back to normal.

Hello to everybody,
I have a Galaxy S9, model SM-G960N and finally the Korean Update to Android 10 arrived, downloaded it from SamMobile (The unbranded version KOO) Flashed it without problems and the phone works as intended. Only it doesn't have KOO as CSC, it has SKC, which has bloatware and it isn't the one I flashed. What gives? Why does it do that, are there any workarounds? Here's what I've tried until now:
Downloaded, and flash numerous times, no result, I don't live in Korea, I don't have a Korean SIM, phone still reports SKC.
Flashing with or without sim card inserted gives the same result.
Can't flash any other CSC, other than Korean ones, Odin spits out an error and it does not even start the flashing process.
Mix and matching different CSC with different firmware's obviously not successful.
Any idea if something can be done about this?
Thank you in advance.

I guess that's the only remaining way, but do you know why it picks SKC instead of KOO, even if the firmware that I'm downloading is KOO.
Korean CSC is a multiCSC even if you download KOO firmware you phone will use SKC that's included in the CSC so there is no different korean csc there's only one that includes the 4 csc codes
i have rooted device but i need multilanguage. ho i can debrand or add orginal languages?
