Noticed a google wallet tap nfc charge on my statement that could not have been from my handset. It was declined, $19 charge about 400 miles away from me at a company that is no longer in business. This worries me... I am wondering if anyone else has had anything like this. I'll be updating this when I get back to the states to call google and get more info.
I emailed google wallet. They are investigating the charge. I provided location data detailing that my phone was no where near the place the "tap and charge" occurred.

It's been two years and until yesterday, I was still able to use my Australian credit card to purchase apps in their USD price by setting a US billing address in Google Wallet. But today it failed. This means, I will no longer able to purchase US market-only apps in the future.... sad.
Last year it were all good, I can even buy music in this way (through VPN + Market Enabler). Since this year, I found Google has gradually blocked fake address non-US credit card from buying in US Play Store. And all market enabler apps have been removed from Play Store now.
I'm just wondering, at this stage, is there still any way to purchase in US store, in US dollar, if you don't have a US credit card? Many thanks!
btw, my Galaxy Nexus is rooted, and I still have a copy of market enabler app. Any comments will be appreciated.

update:
in Google Wallet, the error message saying like this. Is that possible this issue caused by other reason?
Google has cancelled your order. You won't be charged.
Reason: Took too long to deliver
Comments from Google: "auto cancelation"

I don't think there's a way. A legal way, at least.
Have you tried using on of those prepaid (online) creditcards?
If you want to buy a tablet from the store, get a US address via a service such as bundlebox.com and have it delivered there before shipping to your country.
I have the same issue, I already have access to the US Play Store using DroidVPN but when I tried to get the free stuff it gives me an error... I tried using the Paypal test cards and did not work for the free stuff.. have you been able to work this out?
Thanks!
Counting down the hours until I can load up speedtest.net with my T-Mo sim instead of Telcel in Mexico. I know it's not going to be fast, but I want to see what speeds I get. Hopefully this data thing shakes up the whole mobile industry. Anyone else planning on kicking the tires on it as soon as it's live?
edit - I called yesterday to activate the service on my line. I was told to restart my phone and it would take effect immediately. I waited about 15m and restarted. Ran a speed test, got texts saying I owed 50USD, then one for 100USD very quickly. I called back and was assured the texts were not accurate and that the data was free, not to worry. In the course of just running speed tests I racked up $400 of charges. Apparently today they are saying the feature won't go active until the 27th, even though I called early to activate it.
If you have or are going to call early get names and badge numbers and note the time. Hell, record the call if you can(inform the person you are recording...or don't the laws don't matter to me). Personally, I'd wait til after the 31st, then call in and double check. They are looking in to removing the charges from my account, and I think they probably will, but it's still a shock. Best to avoid the problem if you can help it.
I will keep this post updated to let everyone know if I was able to get the charges resolved. Feel free to add any experiences you may have had.
edit 2 - The rep called back (3-4hours later) and was able to get the charges removed AND activate the feature going forward. I applaud T-Mobile for doing that so quickly. I would still caution anyone activating this feature before the official rollout to be very wary of making sure it is actually activated and noting the time and who you speak with.
Just activated the service with a call to 611. Turned off my phone, restarted it. Enabled data roaming. I was surprised it popped up as 3G. Immediately ran speedtest.net. I am getting between 4-6Mbps down and around 0.4Mbps up. This is a lot more than I expected to get. My location is Mexicali, Baja California Norte, Mexico.
I nearly had a stroke as after the first test I got a text saying my international data roaming charges had hit $50, then 10 seconds later another saying $100. I called 611 again and they confirmed it was an issue, but I would not be billed(or be responsible for) that amount. I ran the test again, this time filming it. The video should be up on Youtube shortly. You can see where I get another SMS saying I have hit $200 in charges.
What are others finding on their speeds and what are your locations? It will be interesting to see what people are getting. I will update this post with the Youtube URL once it's up.

I will run a few tests also when I take my 900T to the UK. Good feedback thanks.
The video is now up. Damn Youtube has been a pain in the nuts today, took 3 tries. I finally had to use the https uploader.

I just received a notice that all of a sudden Sprint is going to start charging me to use Good For Enterprise on my Note 4. Has anyone else gotten this? Or does anyone else know how much the charge is?
Frankly GFE should be paying me to use this crappy app...LOL
I got the same notification from Sprint
I got a letter recently saying Sprint had a mistake and needs to charge me to use Good For Enterprise. I am really irritated and I'm trying to figure out if this is just some new way to make money or a legit charge. The phone carriers used to have infrastructure for blackberry enterprise, but I'm not sure sure about GFE.
That's what I didn't understand also. How or why would I be charged for data through GFE if I already have unlimited data?
They aren't providing a service since I downloaded the app through the play store.
I received the same notice & I'm on an iPhone6 now. I was thinking it was "caught" when I changed devices this month. Look closely at your letter, does it say 12/31/2015 also? If so, then we should still receive another year of "free access". Otherwise they can piss off as far as i'm concerned. I'm not going to "pay to work".
Yes...I have until 12/31/2015 also
Just curious... What is gfe?
Good For Enterprise.
Its an alternative to the Blackberry secure corporate email that companies are switching too.
Frustrating part is that it doesn't require any Sprint configuration but it seems since it is "corporate" email, Sprint wants to jump in on charges.
See the thread here: https://community.sprint.com/baw/thread/180119
This is absolutely ridiculous. When I first got good, I specifically asked Sprint if there was any charge on my SERO line for it. They told me as long as I was paying for data, and in my SERO plan I was, there was no additional charge to me. The only charge was between my company and Good. This is complete bull****.
Thanks for pointing out the other thread. It appears that I'm going to have to work with Sprint directly because I'm not using any of the "add-on" services that they reference and I'm not on a business account.

Days later and I still don't have a straight answer from Sprint as to the date this is supposed to happen or if there is any way to "opt out" or just use the application on wifi. I don't see how Sprint can tell me I can't use an app on MY phone over MY wireless connection when it has nothing to do with them. If they want to block all connections from my Sprint data to Good ips be my guest. I will either use a VPN or wifi.
Marcelo Claure responded to this issue on Twitter this morning: "Good is being fixed as we speak."
anyone else have issues registering for the promo or receiving the promo? From what I can tell there should be a notification in your inbox on the Shop Samsung app. I called samsung and the operator could not tell me why the Promotion was not showing, and every link on their web site just takes me to the preorder page.
Mine took a while to show up, but did eventually and I was able to register. I want to say I setup the phone around 3pm EST and it wasn't in my inbox until around 10pm EST.
Samsung has a history of having issues with this and it's technically 2 days before the official release. Wouldn't worry yet. I also didn't see a "first x,xxx to register" for this one like they've done in the past.

Uninstalling it and reinstalling the Samsung Shop app worked for me.
As long as you pre-ordered you can get the promos after the 23rd right?
I physically don't have a way of linking my preorder it since I'm switching to Verizon . The phone has a dummy number listed and it won't link up with my app until I activate it. So I'm kinda stuck in a catch 22.
yeah they had me uninstall and reinstall also and that didnt work. I ended up getting the notification in the Shop app inbox later in the night. 6-8 weeks for a digital credit? that seems a little crazy. I hope it drops soon so that I can use it before everthing on their store is sold out. im sure they will have a use by date also. I had to blow $44 on a charger already because the credit wasnt going to come in before my rewards points expired this month.
also my accessory promo code does not work. anyone else?
I received an email from the Google store this morning that my pre-order for a 6 pro was on hold due to a payment failure on my google store financing account. There was a link button to Fix Payment. Pressing that button brought up a screen that says that they could not fix the payment and to contact Google. I contacted Google Chat and was told to contact Synchrony Bank. I contacted Synchrony Bank and was told that Google charged my account on the 19th then returned the money to Synchrony this morning and tried to re-charge the account 8 times and Synchrony flagged the account for fraud. The Synchrony rep verified my purchase and unlocked my account. She said they were receiving a lot of calls this morning for the exact same thing. Any ideas how to fix this so Google doesn't cancel my pre-order?
Have you re-contacted Google and let them know that Synchrony unlocked the account (and the rest of the story if necessary)?
I did via chat and I get back a message that my issue is under review "Case in Progress." Whatever that means.
Good luck, I hope it works out quickly.
My advice if you're in a hurry to get a P6P;
Use an alternate source of funding and purchase another P6P.
If you ever get the initial device that is now "case in progress" return it within the 30-day no questions asked return period.
Bummer, be aggressive to resolve...

This is good advice. Once Google, (actually Ingram) says they are working on it...it could take forever and end bad.
