[Q] Uncompressed MMS screwed any MMS sending - Sprint Samsung Galaxy S III

I installed the Uncompressed MMS zip in recovery on my GS3 running Ktoonsez AOKP 4.2.2 ROM and now no MMS will send.... Any ideas?
Sorry for another question in Q&A. This 10 post limit is starting to piss me off for development forums
EDIT: Reflashed it, clearing cache & dalvik first, flashing, clearing again, fixing permissions, and rebooting. Sending group messages/regular MMS is fine again, however pictures still aren't sending now.

bump

Have you checked your mmsc settings? Make sure The server address is http://mms.sprintpcs.com if you're on Sprint
Hope this helps

JB Cloud Samsung Login

So in the new jb update there is an option named cloud in settings. When you open it, it asks you to log into your Samsung account but every time I enter my correct email and correct password, it says invalid =(
Anyone else with the same problem?
No one?
No problem here.

Go to accounts. Delete your Samsung account. Then re log in your Samsung account.

That's what I thought it was but I figured it out. I don't know for sure though. What it looks like is the default settings in the phone automatically requires the password to be an X amount with an X amount of certain things. When you make your Samsung account it requires a letter and like a total of 8 characters. I changed it to a 6 number only password which I belive was causing the issues although I could log in online with it but as I said I think the phone had the password requirements built in.

[APP]Disable SMS to MMS Conversion

I have not created this App this app has been ripped from other Forum thought this may help as it did for me so i am just sharing it here as i did not find it here
Disable SMS to MMS Conversion
This modification disables the incredibly annoying "feature" that Samsung chooses to add to its messaging app, where any SMS message of a sensible length (ie. longer than 3 SMS messages) will be converted into an MMS message.
A brilliant idea for those who pay for each message they send, as 3xSMS is about the cost of an MMS, which can carry much more text. Unfortunately for Samsung, they're a few years too late here - most people don't pay for their SMSs individually any more. And they likely would need to pay to send an MMS.
Enter this modification, which lets you send long messages again without issue.
Attached is the LEGACY version of this plugin for Xposed API 2.0 RC2. DO NOT USE THIS VERSION. Use the up-to-date one in the download manager.

disable sms to mms conversion
Thanks all for help so far.
The Creation mode doesn't seem to make a difference. Reason I want it disabled is because my company don't allow MMS, so long SMS just change to MMS and fail to send! I was wondering why this guy hadn't replied to my text........
I have tried the Application, and it appears to install but makes not difference. Reading more it looks like I need to use that general Tweaking app, and that you need Root?
Please confirm, because I cannot root my phone as I need to use Good, and my company have Good set to not run on Rooted devices.
I'm really not bothered about having to use another app, as I already use Whatapp wherever I can to keep my SMS (which I have to get billed by text for) down, so would prefer not to have two seperate 'Text' apps, further to the core Android one, which I am generally pleased with?
Solutions appreciated... or, is there an app that brings all Whatapps, texts and Emails into one 'stream' that you can disable SMS to MMS on?
XDA rules...
The app needs xposed framework to run. You have to be rooted to install xposed but once installed and activated you can unroot again. I don't know of any way to disable the mms conversion without rooting first

I'm a little late on here, kind of a noob when it comes to this as well, but anyways so i've installed xposed installer and got a couple modules to download, install and work properly but when i try this one, i get "Parse error". Any ideas? I absolutely HATE that Samsung has this limit!
You can use wannam xposed from the play store, it has this option in it. Sounds like a bad download though

[Q] I keep getting <No Subject: no subject> during group mms

So annoying. Whenever someone sends me a text in GROUP MMS I keep getting that No Subject crap over the message.
Only happens on incoming Group MMS, not individual messages
Tmobile has no clue what Im talking about
Besides going to a 3rd party app(Textra does not work), anyone have any ideas?

You can try handcent it happens because you can add a subject to an mms group texts are sent as mms

Is there a fix for this, or is it just something we have to deal with? I'm experiencing this same thing having just switched to T-Mobile from AT&T.
Because group messages come in as mms messages.

Yeah, but on my old SIII on AT&T, it would leave off the "Subject: <no subject>" line in MMS messages. I was wondering if there's a way to get rid of it on this phone or if it's just something we're stuck with.

Tmobile allows mms to Google voice users

This is big news. People, including myself, have been waiting years for ANY type of MMS support.
What would happen before is any MMS with her picture or group text sent to a Google voice hosted number would silently be dropped and ignored. I didn't even know someone had sent me an MMS!
The new/current solution is not the best but good enough. GV will notify you that you received an MMS, but then you need to go to Gmail to see the message.
Again, not the best solution but at least I'll receive MMS messages in some form.
No way to send MMS messages yet either.
Small step in right direction but huge one as well

Same Issue
I have the same issue.. I can send mms but I cannot received them. The APN I have are correct. Phone is currently rooted with stock rom. Even prior to root, I cannot receive any mms.. Help?
I figured it out and found a solution if people had the issue with it too. In the APN setting, change APN protocol from IPV6 to IPV4. I tried using a mixture of IPV6/IPV4 and couldn't received any MMS until I changed it back to IPV4 again.

You don't have to be rooted but you cannot edit the stock APN. You got to create a new one with the same APN settings and then change the APN protocol to IPV4. Hit save and text yourself a picture and see if it works. :fingers-crossed:
Can someone give me the APN settings to a d850 to send and receive MMS messages.
Thank you so muck for that
