Hdmi no audio output

Please help me! I want to watch movies but I dont here any audio! I'm on stock .96 firmware. I tried to plug in a speaker but it didn't work

Does it do it with only that TV
I have this problem but going into service menu *#*#7378423#*#* > testing > Hdmi output
I change it from [email protected]
To [email protected] and that fixes all of my problems

There is only few causes
Tv semi incompatible
Rom fault
Or
Hardware fault

The hdmi cable that I was using was out of the box with the phone. I will read my tv manual

You need root to use Mobile Odin.:cyclops:

Try framaroot it's a simple app that can give you root I used it a few times. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2130276

Z4root might do it.

I think mobile Odin may be in need of update. It doesn't seem to work with 4.4.
