Hi All,
I have a very peculiar issue with my Note2. The battery info (system --> Battery) is always the same, infact it does not change. Lately my battery life has degraded and i wanted to know why. It is at this point i found out that the app actually does not show correct information regarding the battery usage by apps.
Any ideas.

Hello Mates,
I am using Wildpuzzle ROM v0.8, which is having many problems in its stage.
The camera fails to operate sometimes. But I do managed to make it working using an external application.
The major issue remains of the BATTERY.
Its been a disaster for me to use it when EDGE 'on'. When the downloading is taking place, this phone starts draining the battery within 30sec for each percent. Presently i get the battery backup of around 120mins max on data usage.
One more issue lies in, the battery wont get charged beyond 71%. I need to reboot so that it shows somewhere more than 90%.
I have tried to reflash the v0.8 rom but facing similar problem again.
Will Radio update be a better option?
Can you recommend any better Sense Enabled Froyo?
Is this the bug in the ROM itself?
Help me, with your suggestions.
Thank You.
Recalibrate your battery. Just perform a search on XDA, there are many guides. It cant be a bug with WildPuzzle because I have personally tested it extensively, and this issue didnt exist.
Only after a fresh flash of a ROM, I get very bad battery life, but this is normal in all ROms I have tried. After 1-2 charge - discharge cycles, it fixes itself.
But because you are facing issues like it doesn't go beyond 71%, then jumps to 90% etc - Your battery definitely needs recalibration.
The title says all...
It cause my battery drain a lot
I already freeze some system app that related to it, and i freeze the google stuff also.... But still draining a lot...
Is there any fix ?
Hello, I have searched for a while trying to find out what com.lge.mrg.service (LGActionManager.apk) does and if it's a critical app. It seems to be at the top of my battery consumption list (64%). Is it safe to freeze or unintall? I'm rooted. Thanks!
First of all I apologize in advance if this is a common problem and I just couldn't locate it, but I have tried searching for this quite a bit now and can't seem to find anything that addresses the problem I have.
I am running my S3 rooted but otherwise pretty stock (4.1.1 - I just never got around to the updates and I am very much a novice at rooting). I have disabled a number of services, apps, etc (with TB) and never really noticed an issue until recently. My android system and kernel usage as shown in GSAM and the built-in stats are top of the list for app battery consumption (screen comes in at #1 overall). I am getting pretty decent battery life I think but I am in the process of breaking in a new battery so it is a little hard to tell. The thing that concerns me is the sheer amount of 'loop' and 'flush' processes showing up in my kernel stats. I am attaching a log with this post. Is this normal? I just have never seen anyone with stats showing that many loop and flush processes listed. For reference that 1 hr 44mins usage in the attached log is with about 61 hours of up time on the phone with moderate usage (hi-capacity battery). I get the same sort of level of activity whether I have Wifi and data on or off, screen on or off, syncing off, bluetooth, gps, rotation off, etc. I may try a factory reset but was hoping someone might know a culprit causing this before I had to take that step. Many thanks!
Hello,
for the past 2-3 months or so the battery life on my OP3 is just awful. It loses about 4%/hour doing nothing and I just can't find the cause of it.
In short here are the details:
OnePlus 3 with LineageOS 15.1 and latest Firmware
No Gapps (so no wakelock there)!
Minimal amount of apps installed, System is unmodded except for:
I tested stock kernel and Boeffla kernel.
Tried Greenify
The thing is I looked everywhere but even BetterBatteryStats doesn't give me any indication of where the problem is.
The only thing that seems strange the me is
a) The android settings tell me that signal is the problem but that's obviously wrong as none of the other apps show any kind of issue with it and uninstalling Signal doesn't help.
b) GSam shows high usage by "Android System" and "Kernel" however this doesn't help me narrow down the problem.
Can some take a look at the screenshots from BBS and GSam and help me out with this problem?

I had the same issue once and I narrowed it down to battery degradation.
I checked the actual capacity left with an app (accubattery) and it told me that the actual capacity left was around 2000mAh which is 30% degradation.
So I got my battery swapped out, it cost me 1300 rupees, but after that my battery drain was fixed. Maybe you should try the app too:laugh:

Screenshots will not help. Visit the BBS thread, learn how to take an idle dump and post the dump in that thread for help.
My suspicion is regarding your mobile signal. So after taking a BBS dump, take screenshots of the battery details page in the phone's Settings and post them also.
