i've been using Google Voice for some time now and it's great. For some reason the other day when I press the PLAY button on a VM in my Google Voice inbox, the screen goes mostly black except the title bar. So, the screen is NOT shutting off, it's like the app itself is going black. See screenshot.
I've tried to delete the app data and cache and uninstall and reinstall the app to no avail.
Any help?
Thanks,

Is there any way to stop the text from showing on to of things on the main screen? It's annoying how it goes over top of things.

Great question. I wish it wasn't there!
A bit late to reply but I hope it helps:
The OK Google bit appears to help you to know that that is when to say it. Once you have done it a few times it doesn't appear anymore.
I did:
1) Press button to fire up the display
2) I said "Ok Google, what is the weather going to be tomorrow"
3) I cleared the results once they had loaded, then pressed the button to power off the screen
4) Pressed the button again to fire up the display
5) "Ok google, what are the share prices?"
6) I cleared the internet search result that it displayed.
After that, no more "Ok Google" everytime the screen fires up. Results may vary, but by 3-4 timers it should definitely have stopped doing it.
Hope this helps.
When I press the icon on the watch face the green circle just keeps spinning.
I can reply (using voice) to the incoming message after notification pops up, but I can not "view conversation" - screen flickers as if trying to open a window and stays the same.
Works fine on the connected phone.
Anyone else?
Works fine for me, try to sync apps again and failing that do a factory reset on the watch
I've got an annoying issue with the Gmail app. I'm on t-mobile g7. From the notification bar, whenever I click on the ARCHIVE button for a gmail message, I get two different results, both of which are errors IMO.
1. Result from pressing button is nothing at all. I see the button illuminate when I tap it, but repeatedly trying to tap it results in no action at all, the notification stays there until I swipe it away.
2. Sometimes I will press ARCHIVE button, and the notification will minimize itself and change from the email message to ARCHIVED, which used to be fine and disappear by itself, but the damn ARCHIVED message will stay in the notification bar until I swipe it away. What the hell!
I've already tried clearing data, cache, disabling, everything and still I get the same result. Anyone else or know of a fix?
Greetings,
Had my galaxy 5 for about a week. LTE version US. Finally set up to mostly work. Question about contacts.
When using default Samsung phone app, there are two icons on the top of the screen: left is green dial and right is orange contact shortcut. The contact shortcut works after some reboots but after another reboot it does not. Pressing the button does nothing, like it does not exist. I downloaded a separate contact app to match my phone, which works fine from the app drawer. However, shortcut from the phone app does nothing. All permissions are allowed for both phone app and contact app.
What am I doing wrong? Why does it work sometimes, but not always. The only way to fix is another factory reset. Any thoughts?
Thanks
