I am on the latest cm10.1 by TWA, and so far, every time I try, googlenow gives me unable to open mic. I have skull candy inked in ear mics if that helps. It works on my dad's RAZR. I also have the audioupdate.zip installed. Thanks in advance.

Could try AOSP...
SGT7 and AOSP worked for me with also some Skull candy but makes sure you have right ones. Not about mine

Well, the mic works on stock 6.3.2, so maybe I need to switch to aosp. I have the red skullcandys.

+1 ....plus this dosent look like a development thread
a real fix could be, a flashable zip that resets bootmode using pokey9ks bootmode files... I've been meaning to make it but if anyone else knows how, dive in.
but yup, cwm has no bootloop issues. so that's the real fix honestly.

Thank you so much. Spent like 3 days trying to fix this and the other things wouldn't work.
Landscape works everywhere except the home screen. [that's AOSP]. You can install a custom launcher like Apex, Nova, Go etc. and landscape would work on the homescreen too.
I've been using Jandycane and so far batt life has been good.
One thing I can suggest is NOT using animated wallpapers. They look awesome, but really task the CPU, which drains the battery.

Also, how do I lower the CPU?

I dont think hash and lithium have added cpu control yet, but twa's CM10 port has it and its a great rom so far, no bugs that i have found yet
even google now works
Jandycane has better battery? Any other advantages over hashcode's rom?

look
I hope I can express, I can only see and reply please forgive
Ive tried to install a different boot animation and installed and different rom but nothing has worked.
If you are running cm10.1 that is a known bug that you can't do anything about.
You really need to be more clear in what your problem is, and what you want to know.

Today I upgraded my 1st gen Kindle Fire from Cyanogenmod 7.x to 10.1 and I have the same problem. I tried enabling auto rotate both through the Trebuchet settings and with Switchpro widget, but it just does not work.
Watching a video through mxplayer does change the orientation, though.
Best,
Maarten
