I have installed yesterday the cyanogenmod 10 on my phone, and I noticed some right i connected my phone.
I could't see the carrior name from my sim card. My question is how can I have my carrior name on my phone without have the internet connected?

from yesterday my phone stop connecting with my Mobile Provider.I am didnt drop it or install new software during this time.I try to change my SIM card with new one and with SIM from other Provider but the problem still exist. I have the same problem. Tried to install different ROM`s but it seems that phone connectivity is gone. It is not able to connect to cellular network (searching connection forever) but BT and WIFI works fine as well as all other stuff. This is not an issue with location since I tried it in different places where other phones working fine and shows excelent signal.
Odd, my data connection suddenly quit yesterday as well (had the EVO series ROM loaded). I loaded on the new build from today and it worked for a few, but then stopped again.
Any ideas? I can make/receive phone calls, but the data connection is no longer responding.

Taxed out i had another p4000 which would connect to data then disconnect.

Hi guys, this being one of my first posts here, please tell me if i'm missing some information
Ok so, i've had this radio problem with my HTC Desire for the last 2 or 3 months, the phone randomly disconnects the cell towers and cant connect to mobile data, send or receive sms messages or phone calls.
I've put the logfile in this paste bin having put some comments along the way with it.

1. It all starts perfectly fine

To this point it works perfectly fine as it sould, but somewhere between then and ~1½ hour, this happens (there are no time logged in the radio logs (or anywhere?) anyways, i turn on the phone from sleep, and notices an notification about android not being able to connect to TDC Mobil and the signal indicator showing a cross above the bars:

(the last lines repeating them selfs) is me asking the phone for available networks and trying to connect to my operator "TDC Mobil". The phone's display just reads something like could not connect to this network at this time in a toast, and nothing more.
I'm not sure if the phone drops the network when i turn on the phone, but i believe the phone had been without signal for like 30-45 minutes.
So, i change the phone's radio off by turning on airplane mode:

When its gone airplane mode i wait a few seconds and removes the airplane mode again, and the phone connects just fine to the cell towers once again:

At the moment i'm using adamg's Oxygen 2 RC5 with radio 32.49.00.32u_5.11.05.27.
But i've tried everything, 4 or 5 of the different radios available, the recommended radio adamg suggests and its been a problem since OpenDesire 2 or 3. The same problem persists.
The phone is S-OFF (with the N1Table) and before that the problem also existed. The only thing i can read of the above logs would be some issues about the sim card, if you look then the phone reconnects to the network after coming out of airplane mode theres some sim icc_io errors, should i replace my sim card?
Any help or suggestions are very welcome, and happy new year

So I am using non rooted, vanilla htc one v. Installed the updates regularly. I didn't messed with my device bcs. it's my work phone.
Yesterday, I had a plane trip back to my country. While I was in plane, afaik the phone was connected to the operator (local operator of other country). I enabled airplane mode and put it in my pocket, didn't turned it off. I did same thing to my wildfire s also.
So I came back to home from airport, put back my original sim card and now it says it can't connect to network. I choose automatically network search and it says error happened, I tried manual search and it only found one operator (vodafone) not the other 2 operators in my country.
I tried resetting the device with factory data reset. Now it can't find any operators at all, and just says error occured when I try to search networks automatically.
I have no clue about how it happened, it's brand new phone not even a month old. I am wondering what should I say to my company and I also wonder what may be the cause.
Anyone have an idea? or maybe solution to try?
edit: It have some problems with wifi also I guess, it disconnects from wifi frequently and shows signal level too low even though my wildfire s shows full bar for wifi.
Take your phone to service center. That's all I can say. There are network issues with One Series bt I think its been solved.

Hello all, I've recently updated my HTC One X (international version) with Resurrection Remix ROM v5.5.8. Everything was fine until I traveled last weekend and turned my phone on. My mobile couldn't connect in Roaming, instead it showed no Sim Card connect!
I rebooted it and happened the same: first, it connects to the mobile operator, then the 3G, and quickly after, it shows no Sim Card.
I managed to turn the data off, and somehow, my phone was able to still be connected to the operator, so I could make phone calls, but no internet. Is anybody having the same issue? Any ideas how to solve it? Thanks

Hi all,
I am using moto z play mobile for past 1 month. i was working fine till today. Now i switched off and turned on back then it unable to find network with both sim cards. It showing " No service" on top and unable to search networks as well(Error searching for networks). When calling it says " Turn off aeroplane mode to make calls" even though aeroplane mode is turned off.
In About Phone> SIM Status>:
Network - Unknown
Network type - Unknown
Service state - Radio Off
Signal Strength - 0dBm 99asu
Network State - Disconnected.
IMEI IS THERE. NOT CORRUPT.
Dialing *#*#4636#*#* :
Pressing Turn On Radio does nothing.
Please help me to solve this issue.

SIM working on another mobile. I tried restart many times and no luck.
Could it be the same thing that I'm experiencing? This is my second Moto Z Play dual-sim (XT1635-02) after the first one was replaced, because of the same problem. I've noticed that the problem is worse when using 4G, but if you change it to 3G in preferred networktype, it usually stays connected. I'm gonna return my 2nd Moto Z Play again on Monday and buy another phone, I don't want a 3G phone!

i suffer same issue and got network back after reflashing and wipe data. but i have to reflash again because i got this issue again. i didnt find the cause of it.
I have exactly the same problem, i think it beggins after install magisk in viper rom, but after return to the last stock firmware, the problem is still present
Hi. Got same issue, after official update - restart, lost network, radio off and unable to turn it on via *#*#4636#*#*.
Phone was on warranty so I gave it to my operator, unfortunately they told me that I will have to pay for screen replacement also because there is tiny scratch on it. Got phone back with network WORKING [ no repair was made ] though that issue is gone until my son drained battery flat, phone restarted with no network. This got me and if I can stick warranty in my ***** I did flash it with lineage ROM and wipe everything from phone, no success at all - I laterally did EVERYTHING what I could [ software wise ] - so I gave up, bought another phone and put this on shelf.
After 2 days got it back form shelf and put sim in and turn on and guess - network worked until I restarted it, no network after restart.
Conclusion:
Modem has to be restarted as battery in no removable You have to switch it off for 12h or so and it should work [ in my case ]
