Hey guys
I'm looking for rom that based from the TouchWiz.
Something like the stock rom but without tmobile junk and with Hebrew support.
Thanks.
EDIT:
I don't care what version it will be.

You might try the standard version of Dandroid. It appears to contain DroidSansHebrew-Bold.ttf and DroidSansHebrew-Regular.ttf. If you need more, the OP contains instructions for using ROM Toolbox to add specific language support.
See my signature for the link.

I haven't tried this myself, but the Dandroid OP includes the following:
Languages
If you need to use a specific language with Dandroid and it's unsupported you can make it work by following these easy steps
1) Go to a rom that has your desired language supported.
2) Open the app "Rom Toolbox", download from the market
3) Go to Interface, then Font Installer
4) Press the menu key, then backup all of your fonts.
5) Setup this rom, then load Rom Toolbox.
6) Restore your previous rom's fonts.
7) You should now be able to read/write in you're language

I understand this to mean that, if you have access to a ROM with Hebrew support, you can extract the Hebrew fonts and "restore" them into Dandroid. But as I noted in my previous post, the standard download of Dandroid appears to contain two Hebrew fonts.
Good luck.

What are you trying to do? Even with LE4.12, I can see Hebrew characters on websites (using Chrome). If it's a keyboard issue, the only thing I can suggest is going into settings to see if you can select Hebrew. I also found a free Hebrew keyboard here. But it doesn't include fonts.
If you need more help than that, I'm afraid I've reached the limit of my knowledge.
If you still have a problem,
try S3Rx. It may already have Hebrew. If not, the developer seems willing to add languages on request.
S3Rx forms the base of the ROM I use. The Dandroid theme now is available as an option within the S3Rx Aroma installer.
Hey. I use Wicked ROM 10 (see our Android Development section) and I read and write in Hebrew and Arabic. Fonts are already included in the ROM for reading. For writing, simply download from the play store one of the many "soft" keyboards with multi languages OR use this cool app to add Hebrew support to the native Samsung keyboard:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.wanam
Let me know if you have any issues.

Hello, I've tried to download the LibSwypeCore.so and put in system/lib folder to get pt-br language into my phone, but it just wont recognize any library, neither potuguese nor english... How can i get PT-BR in my swype??
Thanks a lot
I'm running Darky's 9.3b3 and ever since I jumped on the Darky bandwagon, I've had to flash a separate Swype package everytime I wanted to upgrade the ROM to a newer version.
You might be able to find the language you're looking for following this link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=10208534&postcount=14303
You'll need Darky's ROM installed and a custom recovery to do this.

Ouch, my bad. I'll edit my post to make sure others don't fall into the same trap.
This mod will install full Arabic support on Galaxy Tabs running Overcome 3.1.0 [Kratos] (may work on earlier editions but no guarantees- try at your own risk!)
This is a CWM flashable zip and it includes a script to wipe dalvik cache after installation so all you need to do is install in CWM and reboot
We now have proper Arabic support with reading and the stock Gingerbread Arabic keyboard is also included for input support
After installing, make sure the input method is set to Samsung Keypad (default) and press the Settings key to the left of the Go key. In the next screen, tab Input Language and select Arabic then press the back key twice. You will now have an Arabic keyboard
Note: This has been tested on Overcome 3.0.0 [Kratos] but may work on others.
Please report if you get it working on other ROMs and I will add a note

No actually the input support (keyboard) is not.
The files which enable reading and correct character shaping were made by alterbridge86 using madmack's script.
The keyboard / input patch was made by me

Ah...
Well yes. This patch does change the framework. If you want stock Gingerbread then the path I would recommend is to flash the stock theme patch, reboot at least once and then flash the arabic patch. You can get both patches from teamovercome.net in the Downloads section. I tried that combination yesterday and it works fine

I am also interested in a description on how you did it.
I would like to do something similar with full japanese support. The fonts in the european rom look ugly, and the japanese keyboards in the market are not really good...

To be honest it's just a matter of finding of finding, extracting, deodexing and zipaligning the keyboard from a compatible stock ROM that has the language you need. Once you are sure the files work, you can package them in a flashable zip to make it easy to apply. This will also patch the framework and other system files and that's why I stress the need for compatibility.

You should check out Juggernaut 2.5. They recently released an update that has 45 different languages on the phone. Definitely consider checking it out for the performance boosts anyways.

AllGamer said:
you know... you can always Extract the Chinese language APK from another ROM that includes it, and the add it to your favourite ROM, eh?
it's not that hard,
if just use Root Explorer, or simple Unzip the whole ROM in your PC then find the files you need, remember the locations
and copy them back into your phone
then set newly added file permissions to 740
it can be done with any language

This Swype is that comes with stock ROMS, This has been extracted from VillainROM 3 for SGS2, this flashable ZIP have the necesary files that Swype can work with any ROM, this also modify four props from build.prop file.
Flash this at your own responsability, and if you do it please report back.
If you have problems to boot after flash, you can restore your original build.prop with adb, if you don't know what is this, maybe you have to reconsider to flash it
NOTE: Disable signature verification before flash.
CHANGES: V0.2 Fixed to work with CM9, tested by my self.

You need to delete Swype.apk from /system/app folder and move /system/build.prop.swype file to /system/build.prop
You can do it with ADB or Root Explorer.

I have made some little changes, now works fine with CM9, you only have to download v0.2 and flash it again.
Thanks! Just installed this on XXLP2 and where version 0.1 didn't work, version 0.2 works perfectly
works with miui 2.1.13 - but i cant set it as the default keyboard. it always switches to the standard keyboard after restart. do you have any idea to fix it? i think it was the v1 but im not sure.

This version is better for some languages other than English.
For example, the new version of Swype includes all letters from the Turkish alphabet (an additional 6 letters cramped on a small screen!), whereas this version simply uses the English QWERTY layout and predicts what I'm typing in Turkish. Therefore, this version is a lot more error-free and efficient when I'm typing in Turkish.

Hi
First of all, really nice job! Just like you and other guys around I do fancy the older version of swype.
I was wondering, though, if this stock swype was able to be ported only because of the original files extracted from VR3. Could it be possible to get, for instance, the swype version found in ICS XWLP2 to work with CM9 as well? Could you point out something like the procedure you followed for doing so? (or do it for us )
Thanks in advance

Which Rom?
On most it's usually under System Settings -> Languages and Input -> then somewhere from there.
I've flashed the LeeDrOiD Rom (It is a Sense 3 Rom).
I know that i could normally change the language there, but the only option is english...

The rom was then probably only shipped with English as an option, does that rom have any sections to allow you to download more?
I didn't find anything... Isn't there a zip file from another rom, which I can use?

Maybe best to ask the rom creator?
Alternatively you can download an alternative keyboard from the market (SwiftKeys3) or grab Swype Beta or so forth since most of those third party keyboards have the option to download other languages, and those dictionaries/suggestions would also apply to the hardware keyboard.
