Which Nexus 7 should I get, If I get the old Nexus 7 I'll be able to get the 32gb but if I get the Newer Nexus 7 I'll get the 16gb.... Which should I get???

If you are just concerned with storage get the old 32. If performance is more your criteria, 2nd n7 hands down.
Best thing, IMO is save 40 more bucks and get the new 32gb.
Then again if you wait A little longer I have a feeling the refurbished 2nd gen are gonna be plentiful, probably cheaper than the 16gb.

Get the new 16gb. I had a 32gb 2012 and now have a 16gb 2013 and am in love with the new one. I never used all that space in the first one that's my reasoning for buying the 16gb. I could have bought the 32gb new one but I don't need the space and I'm happy I didn't buy the 32gb. The new n7 is just so much better than the first that I can't see buying the first one if you can get the second.
We see you meow on our nexus⁴ can we haz some more?
Get the new one. 16gb of storage shouldn't be an issue unless you download a lot of movies. I had the 16gb 1st gen Nexus and space was never an issue.

anyway 2 gen - the best solution for 2 years of using
in 2015 would be OLED display+new Battary
Well, just get the new 16GB...

Am highly considering getting a Nexus 7 to go along with my GSM galaxy nexus. the attractive price point, Specs, and size are what make me want the device. Have a OG transformer that ill give to my little sis with a keyboard and i replace that with this. Anyone have any objections to getting this bad boy? Only gripe i have is that it only goes up to 16GB! That and after using it for a while, my Gnex might feel small to me.
I think I'm gonna bite the bullet and order one $200 seems like a pretty awesome deal

just did for the 16 gb model.
Yup, ordered the Nexus 7 16 GB. I was planning on getting a Motorola Xoom (Currys were selling them for £130 but it turned out they were just lying about having them) so this seems a good substitute.
I'll be getting one. Have an A100 at the moment as I prefer the 7" tablet size but there is no dev scene on that thing and what can beat the dev scene of a nexus device?
Yep. Probably gonna get the 16 gig one in maybe month or so.

I am toying with the idea but I just sold my CM9'd touchpad due to lack of use because my GNex is serving me so well. Perhaps as a hack toy but that's why I bought the Touchpad.
Every nerd needs a hack toy...
Don't see the point, for me.
I have the iPad 3 and a Galaxy Nexus, and both are serving me good for what they do. The Nexus 7 just seems to be a Galaxy Nexus with a faster CPU and a bigger screen... It doesn't replace my iPad and doesn't do more than my Galaxy Nexus.
I am still not sold with the phone interface on 7" tablet.
And 16GB is too small ... without Micro SD card for tablet.
Looks like a nice bit of kit, but'll stick to my Xoom
I'm more anxious about getting jellybean on it than my nexus for the vsync
ordered it yesterday... 16g

Well after honestly thinking about it, i'm going to cancel my order in the morning. I seriously thought about it and i came to the conclusion that me having a gnex will ruin my experience. Honestly it will literally be our phone which is 16gb without any removable storage with a 7inch screen and some better specs running Jellybean that looks like it's in phone mode.. unless there are some features or value that i'm not seeing, pre-order remorse got the better of me.
I am, I am tired of my a500. Wi-Fi sucks and a teen inch tablet is not as comfortable as seven inch is

The New Nexus will probably come at around Christmas time or slightly earlier if I had to guess. Not sure about specs, but probably similar to the S3's specs.

Yea I mean no doubt that the S3 has better resale value... I'm just starting to miss the software side of the Nexus and all of the customization it has (and I love the virtual buttons and design of the phone). No doubt though, the S3 blows the Nexus away in terms of benchmarks and gaming

Yeah I know what you mean though. I used to have a galaxy nexus. Love the ROMs and the updates. I actually wanted the one x but I got this since I plan to get whatever new device is released this winter so I opted for resale value over what I really wanted. Don't get me wrong, the s3 is probably the best phone out, I just wanted to try the new htc sense.

if you are eligible for an upgrade right, i would suggest to not use it, and either pick up a used Nexus or the one straight from Google's Play store. this way, you can save your upgrade for when the new Nexus comes out, but still have a good phone for right now.
upgrade to the "new" iphone then trade it for both the Note 2 and GS3. :silly:

So after 6 years of being on my mother's cell plan I'm getting the boot. I have a decision to make now. In 3 weeks or so I'll be moving to Verizon and I'm having a problem making a decision on what phone to get. I'd like to get some pov from the community.
1. I could get the S3 but I don't see a big difference from my t989. It's just my opinion. I'm not to impressed with the S3. To me it just seems like an extra gig of RAM and that's it.
2. I could get a Galaxy nexus and save some money. Save some money till something more impressive than the S3 comes out.
What do you guys think? If I'm wrong I'd love to be told.
Sent from my SGH-T989 using Tapatalk 2
The difference in money is not worth jumping to S3 from S2.
Nexus is good, but no memory expansion....so I'll pass on it.
I would wait for Galaxy Note 2.....Now THAT I will buy too, even
if I love my S2....
Just my 2 (billion) cents here...lol...

When talking on the phone (Note), use a small bluetooth.
And when you do something else on it, yes it will draw
a lot of attention...just remember...they are ALL JEALOUS of you!!!
So, it will be a "good" attention!
:good:
Try considering a prepaid plan w/ the use of google voice and VOIP program. I've heard it saves quite a bit of money.
And if you do end up going to Verizon, buy a Note2 and sell it. It'll probably sell pretty darn high if it's unopened.

I would wait for the Galaxy Note 2. If you don't mind being on a GSM carrier, than I might also wait for the LG Optimus Nexus. Some of the leaked specs for it include a 1.5 GHz Quad-core Snapdragon S4 Pro CPU, 2 GB RAM, a 4.7 HD display, 8 mpix camera, etc. The best part is that the 8 GB model will retail for 299$ and the 16 GB will retail for 349$.

Hii guys,
So ive been saving up some money to buy my new phone. I initially chose the GNex since it is cheaper and other stuff. I'm from india and i thought of buying it from ebay india.
Anyway now that LG nexus 4 release date is close(will it be released in india this november ??) i'm wondering if its still a good move to buy the GNex. I heard that the LG nexus 4 have 2 gb ram etc etc better specs than GNexus ?? Is that true ??
So, i thought of ordering Galaxy nexus this week. Is that a good choice ??
If someone could help me making my choice i would thank it very much
Thanks in advance
Use common sense....plus they pulled gnex from playstore
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using xda app-developers app
Needing LTE or being on Verizon or any other CDMA network are the only two reasons to stay with the GNexus.
lolz.. with that spec and with that price and with you made it obvious... you still dont know the answer?? the spec are way too high than gnex. its a different case if already have a gnex, but since you didnt... oh well "go go for Nexus 4" lolz...
i'm a Nexus collector so i'm getting it while I can.

We don't know if the nexus 4 will launch in India or not. Or when it would launch, if it does. Most people say it would likely be priced at 25k but no one knows for sure.
If you are willing to wait for more than a month for a possible release (which may or may not even happen) or are ready to spend over 25k to order it online and have it shipped, then the nexus 4 is a good choice.
The galaxy nexus is available right now for pretty cheap but it isn't as good as the N4.

It would have been so awesome if they still offered the GNex for like $99 off contract, that would have downright incredible, but obviously would have cut sales from the N4.

The Nexus 4 has a better CPU, GPU, more RAM, slightly bigger and higher resolution LCD screen, wireless charging, and larger battery.
Yet unless something happens to my Galaxy Nexus I'm not upgrading because I've decided there are two things I love about the Galaxy Nexus that isn't available for the Nexus 4:
1) AMOLED screen. I don't care that it's pentile. Maybe my eyesight sucks because I can't tell the difference between pentile and non pentile 720P screens. I can tell the AMOLED screens produce colors I like.
2) Swappable battery. This is crucial for me.
With that said... I wouldn't spend more than $200-$230 on a used Galaxy Nexus... because let's face it... the Nexus 4 is still a beast of a device for the money.
even im eager to buy one here in India.. but i think u shud see this http://pricebaba.com/blog/coming-up-nokia-lumia-510-lg-l9-htc-8x-one-x
Expected price is around 30k in India.. not confirmed though.. Saw in some italian blog too that even there its going to be priced around 550 Euros according to some credible sources.. so if it costs more than double the amt compared with US, I think getting a Gnex makes sense or ask some one to get it from the US.
we are always deprived of all good things in the world or shud pay a lot to get them.. sucks
I am up for an upgrade but was wondering if upgrading now to a S4 from my Verizon gnex is worth it. Can only order 32gb online and best buy most likely will not carry it.
