That would be the problem that the CM9 is not good for recording. Specifically, quietly recording the camera. So when I play back the video, quieter than GB recording. The recording application also recording my voice softly. There is no solution for anything? Is there anything I could increase the speaker volume?
Thank you in advance for your answer! Sorry for the tough wording, but I'm not good in English, so I have to use the google translator.
EDIT: I just realized that the speaker is not wrong, but there's a problem with the microphone recording. Therefore, the microphone is record silently. The voice recorder to application shows the sound intensity. In CM9 slightly lower volume level than GB. (no trouble with my microphone) There is no solution for anything? (Sorry for bad english!)
You could try another camera app.

Hello,
i am using google voice recognition very often - I am loving it. The problem is that i need to talk very loud in order to get the voice recognized by the app.
Is there a way to increase the volume/sensitivity of the microphone?
Milini
If you ever tried to do a recording, you'd notice that the quality is awful.
Google Voice probaly has more issues getting a clear enough sound rather than a loud enough sound.
Our phone isn't exactly known for it's senses, poor camera, speaker and mic

Agreed about terrible audio quality in Froyo.
But wait till you hear the quality in Gingerbread for the DHD.. it's like a new phone.
I know that the microphone quality in general is not good.
But that's not my problem. If you use Google voice recognition you have a kind of signal strength meter (don't know the english word for it) that shows you the input level measured by the application.
My observation is that sometime I have to shout in order to get recognized and sometimes it's enough to speak with normal voice.
The question is: Is there a way to change the microphone level or sensitivity?
I just got my E4GT and I remember one time seeing a mod to fix the audio problem while recording. I can't seem to find it. Can someone link me to it please. Thanks.
I think this is what you are looking for.

It enables higher quality, but it doesn't fix the fact that we don't have a noise canceling microphone. I wish lgcamera worked in HD on our devices, because it allows for use of an external microphone.

I understand noise canceling mic are useful for phone calls but why would you want to cancel noise when video recording?

Please make sure its not a hardware / physical problem... such as dust inside the mic hole, or a faulty mic.
I could give a modded acoustic profile to increase mic volume... BUT, I would search Sony support in first place. And use a modded acoustic in last place.. since a low volume mic is not normal... I never had any complain about volume,
But quality is another story, and it depend mostly on Service Provide quality
Hello everyone,
since I flashed CM11, every app that is recording audio does record it very quiet.
Interestingly and fortunate the problem does not affect RADIO, so I can call someone and the other side can understand me normally.
When I record HD videos with the stock camera app (CM11 M12) then it is really quiet.
Can anyone help me?
Thanks!
Hello,
I found a temporary solution: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=57618272&postcount=3255
Many thanks to User bill.allrobots.org!
Recording volume is now very good!
Microphone works just fine in recordings app but during calls, the sound is very dim and unclear
People complain that the sound is unclear so I recorded a test call using Automatic Call Recorder app and found that the sound was very dim
but it is perfectly fine in stock recorder app
Is this software issue? How to fix it?
PS I used stock rom and had recently factory reset the phone
Have you tried cleaning the small microphone at the bottom of your phone? It's likely blocked by some dust. There is another microphone at your phone which is problem used for voice recordings, hence the difference in sound
