Does anyone know how to get around this? It seems that when you boot the phone, it reflashes the bootloader

Yeah there was something similar with the dell streak when there was an update with that, and I couldn't remember that for the life of me either =/
You're welcome
I have rooted, and I have xposed installed.
What is the upgrade procedure? Do I need to go so far as to remove root? Any advice appreciated.
Thanks!

Hi,
I have T-mobile LG G3 and I also received 154 MB update this morning. My device was rooted with Xposed installed. After the updated, i lost my ROOT access, everything else remains the same. Hope this helps.

Another question, I found the ota.zip should I make flashable/rooted version? As far as I have looked, no one else has done it yet

Yes please! :good:
Got this just now...but don't wanna lose root. The notification is annoying as hell. I would flash and update if it won't bork everything but I'd settle for just getting rid of the notification. Anybody know how to get rid of it??
Everything I do or have is custom.... Period.

When I long press, I see "App Info" and when I press it, it shows Google Play Services.
When it is disabled, does the update go away, or is it still on my G3 waiting to be installed?
Anyone know how this happened? I'm rooted, with custom everything, and I have OTA updates disabled!
I'm doing a TWERP backup anyway.
Anyone that has installed the update - did you get root back?

That's the problem, in order for a restore to work you would have had to back it up without any secure lock screen. I'll look around if there's a method of fixing it but I don't think there is.
