Soft brick ? Hard brick? Doors your other device support Samsung kies? You can always get it into download or recover mode through that..one of those.
Sent from my SGH-I337 using xda app-developers app

Yup, what kind of brick do you mean? Soft brick or hard brick?
Let me know what you can and cannot do with your bricked phone. The more details the better because that will help determine exactly what the issue is with your phone.
And how did you brick it? Were you using Odin? Flashed a ROM/Kernal from the Recovery?
If you used Odin, I'd like you to recall what Odin said if you can.
Like I said, every detail will help

Soft brick iv been told to use odin but cant find origanal software for phone

Mine got bricked by rom manager. Hard bricked. This time i want to take precautions!

On my Ace, I knew nothing about ROM Manager why it was there, I installed Cerberus from the Download ROM section, and everything worked fine for me.
Rom Toolbox seems to work fine..
Just don't use the ROM Manager section
Sent from a fragment of Tiny's stones.
I have been using it for more than a year.
It is one of my favorite apps, and a must have for me.
But, avoid the ROM Manager section.
Except for that, it works like a charm.

For root you need to flash: http://download.chainfire.eu/264/CF-Root/CF-Auto-Root/CF-Auto-Root-t03g-t03gxx-gtn7100.zip via ODIN. This tutorial may help you: http://androidjinn.com/root-galaxy-note-2-n7100-zcalk5.html
Next you need to install CWM Recovery (or any other custom recovery). To install CWM recovery first instal ROM Manager from play store then tap on Flash ClockworkMod Recovery.
There are many ROM out there. Try something stable. All ROM comes with general installation guide just follow that.
Appreciated

Yes! It's safe to use the root file. That is a standard rooting file for Note 2 for any Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean version.
Thanks chief. Will root it then. IA
One more question, if we root it then what will happen the already installed JB. Will it remain in working condition or is it mandatory to install cooked rom right away?

Everything will be just normal. You don't require to install any custom ROM. Your smartphone will be in Jelly Bean. You can now install apps that require root permission such as Titanium Backup .

No, you need to flash this one: http://download.chainfire.eu/255/CF-Root/CF-Auto-Root/CF-Auto-Root-t0lte-t0ltexx-gtn7105.zip You can try this guide: http://androidjinn.com/root-galaxy-note-2-n7105-on-xxdll1-android-4-1-2-official-firmware.html The firmware may be different than what you have but it will work. Don't worry.

Interesting. It's worth a shot OP. Worst case, it fails and you uninstall. If it is successful, you can install mobile odin, then get the latest gb27 tar, and money. While you're at it, you will have to flash a cwm custom jb kernel, since you're on ics, and, MO won't flash modems, you'll need a jb modem to use data on gb27. Download the zip though of the modem . Good luck, let us know how it goes.
