Does call recording work for both sim cards?
Can somebody test. GALAXY CALL RECORDER from PlayStore or any other recorder , please?

I got the phone so I ll answer to my questions just in case somebody consider buying this phone.
- yes for call recording (Galaxy Call Recorder) to be honest I am experiencing the best quality of call recording from the all handsets I had in the past (S2,N1,N2)

Hi did you mean that you can record calls from the 2 SIM card of course not at the same time ...i mean one after other....
Please advice me in order to buy one.

Yes, I can record from both sim cards ( both sides of conversation), the quality is absolutely awesome!!! Never had such quality on N1, N2, S2
Use "Galaxy Call Recorder" from Play Store, it is free!!!
Regarding Three UK --- it is working but my Mini Duos shows HSPA* 14.4 Mb/s (so there is no "+" and the speed is much lower)
My old Note 2 still shows HSPA+* 21.6 Mb/s while the same sim card (3UK)

I have a Samsung Galaxy 2. It initially came with 2.3 and now I have upgraded it to 4.0.3.
after the upgrade the call recording application is not working.
I tried downloading the free ones from the market however I can only hear my voice in the recording and the other person's voice is very very low.
it is hard to understand.
is there any call record application that I can download for my phone

In settings change the audio source to VOICE UPLINK
works:
search "CallRecorder" or by autor "skvalex" in a market (or apkmania ) ... really works on my sgs2 (only works if you have root) ... in settings apply patch as Galaxy SII (ICS) that will replace 2 libs in a system/lib/hw ... select standard android api ... now all works check it out ...

Use VK Rom by JKay. It has an embedded recorder at the call screen and its good. Enjoy

If you are looking to have voice + data capabilities then the 5100-3g international model is what you want.

No phone.apk (dialer app)
No headset speaker
Microphone located at the top of the device.
Plus no firmware available now to mod, no root.
Maybe yes in the future, depending on dev and if you want to use skype with bluetooth...

Ofc phone app is available. Using an external Mic/headset should work fine (tbh who wants to talk to a tablet next to his ears? )
Where is this microphone at the top of the device on tgeh i467M? There is no microphone!

Phone calls on the i467 can only be made via VoIP. Also keep in mind that tablet plans are data only, although there is a phone number associated with the sim, voice calls to the number are blocked. Even though my 5100 has telephony capability, if I put the sim from my iPad in it, data works but not cellular.

On Wifi works. On 3G no . On I9192 ( dual-sim version ) it could work if u activate Sim card manager - Receive incoming calls like in screenshot

I googled a little about phone call + surfing. Seems S4 ( big brother ) can`t manage this task either Or Iphone 5S 5C .... Only phone i found that worked was S3. So is common ...

2)how to set song (mp3) as phone ringtone-- custom ringtones

Hello Everyone, I hope this is not a noob question...
I bought an unlocked Samsung Note 10+ SM-N975U1 directly from Samsung... Long story short - Samsung said it could record calls, then after my return window expired and several calls with Samsung Techs, they finally admitted that this "feature is locked" and I'm stuck with this $#!T.
I have tried several different call recording apps, and none work.
So my question is, Can someone tell me how to enable call recording on this phone? or direct me to link with the answer...
I really appreciate any help.

I am going to file a complaint with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau against Samsung, because they mislead me to be believe that this phone did and had the ability to record calls. They kept saying that it should be fixed in the next software update 2 or 3 times, then after my return window expired, they said this feature is disable and there is no fix. At the same time, they said that the you cannot return this phone. This is fraud and deceptive business practices.
I bought an unlocked phone directly from samsung to avoid having rooting issues and all the carrier bloatware... instead i get this ****.

I tried it too, but for whatever reason, it only records my voice and not the caller. Thanks for the suggestion.

they said most recorder app WONT work on wifi call, that why i disabled wifi calling.

It does, it depends on the country and state. Also if you get carrier branded vs unlocked...
Google Dialer
I know some people have found success using the new Google dialer app, which has call recording baked in. I haven't tested myself, but it may warrant further research if it is truly possible.
