USB/Wireless SONY Dualshock Joystick Xbox 360 in LGOG - LG Optimus G (International)

Hi everyone!
I'm migrating from an Xperia Play for LGOG E977.
The LGOG is amazing! I'm really enjoying it. But I miss the XPlay controls.
Tell me, is it possible to make use of the controls of playstation or Xbox 360 in LGOG?
Thank you!

[Q] What's the best gamepad ?

Hello,
i want to know, what's the best Bluetooth gamepad for the galaxy s2.
I want to play game with emulator like Snesoid or game like Shadow gun.
Thank you
I use a Sixaxis on mine. Need Sixaxis app from the market though.
Does anyone have any other suggestions for this?
Tried everything to enable wii remote to my SGSII without sucess...anyone managed to do it?
Sixaxis PS3 controller is definitely the best.
I'm extremely sorely tempted by icontrolpad or the rip-off gametel version. £40 just seems a bit pricey to take a punt on, though. But love the idea ofthe control integrating with the phone!
I am interested to know if there is any chance of getting the analogue nubs to match on screen controls in Android like the icontrolpad pad team have managed on IOS.
If they managed that then I reckon the icontrolpad would be a must purchase.
They are frustratingly bad at getting back to your emails mind. Rather puts me off spending a lot of wedge on one.

Thanks! I think I'm gonna have to go for it. Hopefully I won't regret the spend as its probably a touch more than I'd like to spend on it.
definitely the PS3 controller. You also need the bluetooth gamepad app off the market.
ps3 pad along with the app works great for me... Even if i didn't have a PS3 pad don't think i could justify paying £40 for one of the flimsy bluetooth smartphone pads that are out there...
+1 for the sisaxis controller
Do the third party PS3 controllers work or does it need to be an official Sony one to pair up correctly?

I tried with a knock-off ps3 controller (which, incidentally, DOES work with my ps3), but it didn't work with the SixAxis app on my phone. It DID work with my OEM ps3 controller though.
It works on ohter roms than stock, im using mine wiimote on CyanogenMod 7. But only custom-input configurable apps allow to use it, like GBA or PSX emulators

Thanks for that, i'll just get a used Official one then (IME they always feel better anyway!)
+2 for SixAxis with SA app from android market.. works like a charm with FPSE and N64oid (both singleplayer and multiplayer) emulators. however, after-market SixAxis controllers are not compatible.
Non-genuine.
Do any non-genuine pads work with our S2?
I want to buy a pad but dont have PS3 and getting the genuine controller is quite expensive and not worth just to play on my phone.

Like I said, the one knock off controller I tried didn't work. I've found OEM ps3 controllers out there for around $30, which is only $10 more than what I paid for the knock off.

Here in UK is more expensive. Was the OEM controller used or new?

[Q] Samsung galaxy note 2 with sixaxis+ ps3 controller= better xperia play

I was thinking of getting a Samsung galaxy note 2 and rooting it, install sixaxis and then buying a ps3 controller together with an OTG cable . To play games and have the playstation feel with a much better device . That way I will be able to play all my favourite hd games without any lags, overclocking ,light roms, tweaks and whatever . Is this a good idea. The xperia play has reached its limit isn't it time to move on ? Android games are fast developing and the xperia play cannot keep up. Very soon it won't be able to play better Android games. Please share your thoughts.

I think you are right Xperia PLAY is dying everyday but HEY! what's the matter? This phone is and it will be a classic
Lol sixaxis + any android device is destined to fail to certain degree. Can both of these things in the same pocket i doubt it great for home use btw. But I do agree with 1 thing though it is hardware limted :sigh:.
I'd rather have a 480p single core device with physical buttons than a 1080p quad core device without physical buttons.
I think you catch my drift.
Yes they are better in gaming, much better in the pocket.
Xperia Play is a Legendary Phone no matter what!
Yea the note 2 is an amazing device and I want so bad but I read that the "Exenos" (sorry for spelling) is not as good at gaming as snapdragon, snapdragon has been the best for gaming mainly because companies like gameloft built there games on snapdragon chipset and are basicly incompatible on tegra 2 and all right on sammies "exenos" chip set....but that's just a thought

and don't forget that chainfire 3d does not officially work on ics and later versions. I know that the galaxy note 10.1 gets into a boot loop when installed on jellybean. But at this point, any cellphone + a portable controller is better than the xperia play but the xperia play is just way more convenient. I should know, cause I swap between 2 cellphones, the xperia play and galaxy note 10.1, daily. I just can't give up the portability of the play.
I have my xperia play and my galaxy tab 10.1. I use my xperia play for gaming. I do not game on the tab. Hate touch screen gaming. Although I have considered hooking up my Xbox controller. There's an article here on xda tobuse an old original Xbox controller on ics/jb tablet.

I am sorry I dont get the point of doing this with such a great effort
what is the point?
You are sitting in front of a desk, you hold a ps3 controller, and you look at a 5 inch screen and play some games on a device powered with battery.
May I ask? why not use that controller and play with ps3 with a 47inch TV?
It's all about mobility!
at home I play PC Games and I dont need this kind of configuration. It's silly to sit at home and play on a 5 inch screen.
On the train or bus, yes I need to play with a controller and I need to make calls. but i will never take ps3 controller with me.
this is the point of buying xperia play!

What joystick do you recommend?

Hey guys, i'm looking for a really good joystick for my samsung tablet to play games.
Do you have any to recommend? Do you know any that will work perfectly with my tab 10.1?
Thanks!

Moga Pro

Hello,
I would like to know if the moga pro is worth the money or not.
I seriously need a controller for my htc ine to play on and is there any other alternative??
also if i buy from powera.com it's costing me 120$ with shipping and that's a lot.
I live in India so any idea where i can buy that controller or any other at affording money??
Moga Pro is awesome. Though if you have a PS3, just use your controller and use the sixaxis app.

i have tried that but with shipping it's 120$ and the price of the controller is 50$, so why would i buy it!
Have you tried Amazon?
I'd suggest waiting. They just announced the second version a while ago. I have the MOGA travel controller and it's pretty nice imo. Very cool for playing emulator games.

I apologize for this being slightly off topic, but how did you get the Sixaxis app to work? Custom kernel? Sixaxis is not compatible with the stock kernel. Thanks!

Yep. Back in the day we could never get any bluetooth accessory to work but a headset or speaker. No controllers keyboards mice or anything. HTC stock kernel does not support bluetooth input devices. Most any custom kernel will. Moga has done something with their controller and app so that it works on the stock HTC kernel.
Myself I use the Moga Pocket model and it is working fine with the HTC One.
For this model you must be rooted and use the universal driver to be able to use it with emulators and so. (Not sure how this is with the pro model)
I would say it is worth the money, the only thing missing on the Moga Pocket model is the Dpad but the Pro model you are looking after does have this.
If you like gaming a controller is a must have, the reason I love this device is because you can insert your phone and hold it as one device.
A few down sides are:
- When you are gaming somewhere and need to go to the toilet for example, you will not be able to put it in your pocket quickly without disassembling it first.
- It uses batteries, so take some extra with you. (Sure sucks to have juice left in your phone but your controller is all out.
When using this controller (or any controller) with the app called "GameKeyboard"you can map pretty much every game to work with it.
(Even if they do not support hardware key mapping.)

Kind regards, Stefan.
The issue with the cost is likely due to importing fees in your country.

Good gaming controller

I'm curious if anyone has come across a decent gaming controller add-on for Android devices?

As I replied to you on AndroidForums, MOGA Pro Power is the way to go http://www.amazon.com/POWER-MOGA-Pro-Electronic-Games-Game/dp/B00FB5RBJM/
A double thank you good sir
Again looks awesome
if you already own a controller you can use something like this(http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=284DnVEHwNE) or you can use an app to use your xbox controller whit it
I really like the Gametel, works great for emulators.
