* Turn off the sound before shutting down and put it on after turning on you're phone.
* https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.antweb.silentboot Does the above option but without you to have to do anything.
* Root: remove the boot-sound.
Thank you i've rooted and i want to remove the boot sound, do you know where the file is located?

Not 100% sure but it could be there:
/system/media/audio/ui/ (something.ogg could be: bootStrapSound.ogg or poweron.ogg)
Hi guys this is the right way to erase or change the boot sound (the phone must be rooting):
/system/media/audio/animationsound -------> and just erase or change this file: bootsound.ogg
Bye :good:

Hello, I want to enter in bootloader mode directly by the phone, because the volume touch of my HD2 are not working.
Anyone know one soft for make this?
thanks
Search for HTCBootloader, put it in your device, and run it. It will take your machine to bootloader.

If you have flashed a custom ROM before and still have the ROM on your PC open it up and find the file "EnterBootloader" copy that to you device. When you tap/open the file it will go into the bootloader.

Greetings,
I am wondering if anyone has experienced an issue where it's impossible to get the phone to go into bootloader with the Volume - and Power Buttons. My DHD just boots up. I'm on Desire Revolution ROM 2.0.1 with S-Off. The only way I can get into bootloader is with adb.
Am I using the wrong button combinations? I've only had the phone for a few days and I assumed the way to get into bootloader would be the same as my Nexus One.
Maybe someone could point me in the right direction if I'm doing something obviously stupid
That is the correct button combination. Are you pressing them at the same time or do you hold Volume Down then press power?

restart the phone
when the capacitive buttons light is off immediately press and hold volume - button and keep holding until device is in bootloader
cheers
Also remember that your DHD doesn't actually turn off when you turn it off. You need to disable HTC FastBoot, Settings > Applications > Untick "FastBoot".
Andy,
That fixed the problem. Thank you very much.
Thanks! that did the trick for me 2!!

Try removing the battery for a minute. Then volume down + power button.
Was it rooted? Go into the rom first and uncheck fastboot. Settings, power.

If it's not where I mentioned it would be, then see if you can find it somewhere else. Just uncheck fastboot.

In what state is your phone at the moment?
If you had adb enabled install.android-sdk and propper drivers then turn on phone and connect it to pc/laptop and try to reboot it in bootloader through adb .
This only works if:
1. Your phone has adb debugging ennabled
2. Your pc can see the device attached (command: adb devices)
Hope this helps

If You can not access hboot, there's not much You can do, but fix that first.
I've installed Cyanogenmod 7.2 RC1 to my HTC Wildfire and successfully could install stock Wildfire boot audio on phone boot.
In Sense case, we can control whether we can enable the boot audio or not simply by making phone silent and in case of restart or turning off and back on, the boot audio is muted and can be unmuted back in case of phone is no more silent.
I wonder whether we can control boot audio to get muted/unmuted in Cyanogenmod or not.
Hope there is some way to do so!
Thanks!
Afaik there is no sound at boot unless you enable the script.

Yup.
I've a big problem... my phone won't turn on, won't charge (and no led) but is not totally dead.
The problem has happening after install TWRP with Autorec on V30B firmware, i reboot my phone and nothing... My phone won't reboot, just turn off.
Since, there is no vibration when i press start button, no DL mode when i connect to the PC (and hold volume up) but, sometimes i can see boot logo during 3 second and nothing anymore, just a black screen. When i remove the battery and i plug it, the phone shows me a logo which indicates the battery is removed.
I plug my phone during 10 minutes, but always nothing...
If someone can help me, i would be so gratefull
Used twrp for marshmallow or lollipop and your phone version is what?
Give this a try: http://open-freax.fr/guide-unbrick-your-lg-g3/
If that does not help I guess there is nothing you can do.
did you check that you have TWRP? Try to enter recovery since you can see the logo and you certainly flashed recovery. Main thing is that you flashed wrong boot and can not boot system.
Check this post from autoprime.
