[Q] Looping Xperia logo - Xperia Play Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I was trying to install AuroraPlay 1.1, everything was going fine, i unlocked my bootloader, installed doomkernel, booted it up and it was fine until then. Then i followed the next installation steps (factory reset, format system, and flashed the rom, did it all on Clockwork mod) and now the Xperia logo keeps looping. I can't enter recovery, the phone doesn't vibrate like it did before on the doomkernel screen and no matter what i press it just goes to the logo again
I'm pretty new to all this so i suppose i just made a common stupid mistake. Flashtool seems to still recognize my phone when i connect it in flash mode, but not for long, it disconnects itself and reconnects again but not in flash mode. Can i save my phone?

After removing the battery many times, and trying again and again, it booted into AuroraPlay
Everything looked normal, so i turned it off and on again to see if it was fixed, but it's looping again, and i still can't acess recovery
I can't think of anything i did differently when it booted successfully

Start from begining again:
-flash stock firmware and see does it boot up
-reflash doom kernel again, if you can enter fastboot mode (hold search when pluging in usb)
-boot rom again, to see if stock rom can boot up with doomlord kernel
-if you can, reset to recovery(keep pressing back button), format data and system and install Aurora again
If you manage to boot to (any) rom, check your sd card for errors, if any...

Around half an hour after my last post, i left my xperia looping for like 10 minutes to see if anything changed, then took out the battery and booted it up again
this time i managed to go into recovery, but didnt want to flash everything again so i just applied the doomkernel v14 wifi fix that i couldnt apply before
it then booted into the rom normally and i've been using it since without a problem
kinda afraid to reboot though

[Q] Arc Bricked? Stuck in bootloop, Unrooted & cannot access bootloader

Hey all - I have spent about 9 hours at this so far and thinking I may have bricked my Xperia Arc.
Here is an outline of where I am right now:
Phone previously on CM7, rooted & had CWM recovery.
Spotted the Team Xperia ics v2.5 and decided to give it a look.
Phone froze on splash screen - I stayed patient but an hour later, still nothing.
After this, I'm not really sure where I went at this stage!
The situation right now is that I have stock SE LT15i_4.0.2.A.0.42_Generic+Global flashed to phone.
On boot, the splash image comes up, then a disconcerting white triangle with yellow exclamation point..... uh oh!
The phone continuously reboots through that loop.
Tried accessing bootloader (power on, toggle vol buttons) but the phone just goes straight by to boot loop.
Checked what I can connect to and can use flashboot to connect in both flashboot mode and fastboot mode.
SuperOneClick freezes (Not Responding) on restarting adb sever stage (I've made sure adb.exe has not been running prior to this)
Completely stuck now - any help rewarded through contributions - sure you'd be saving me the cost of a phone....
Thanks for any help!
Tony
You must press the back button to go in fastboot mode. That's the buttons left. If you press it on starting the phone, your led turns blue.
If it works, try to flash the firmware again.
If your phone's bootloader is unlocked then use fastboot to boot a kernel(if you're trying to run.42 then doomlords gb kernel), once that's flashed wipe dalvik cache via cwm and reboot.

After moving my launcher to SD, problems started.

Moved my LauncherPro to my SD using Link2SD. After reboot the phone was unresponsive, couldn't insert PIN code, so the screen didn't work, launcher didn't start and therefore phone became useless. I then thought, oh well, another flash within recovery and everything should be OK. Wrong. After pressing Home+Vol Up+Power the phone enters into RAMDump Mode (ARM9 Mode) and nowhere else. I can enter into download mode, but not on to recovery. I used Aurora ROM on it earlier, which had to be flashed through CWM. I went from stock recovery on to [RECOVERY]Stock & ClockworkMod 5.0.2.8 Recovery yesterday (EXT4 only) and then moved the CWM flashable Aurora Rom on the sd and flashed it, everything went fine. Then the phone RAM started to be a bit too low and I played with the Link2SD. And now you know what has happened so far.
After unsuccessful attempts to boot on to recovery I thought to flash stock recovery with ODIN, which went fine. But still can't enter recovery, it pops up the RAMDump mode all the time! Then flashed stock 2.3.6 Gingerbread (latest) and the bootloop starts, it shows boot animation but cannot continue from there.
What should be done next? = Exact steps to wake up the damn phone. Luckily I get my SGS2 back in a week or so and I don't have to play with the Gio as primary phone anymore... It worked neatly before this though.

Telus s2x wont enter download mode, or boot, or cwm

I FOLLOWED ALL TUTORIALS BUT I AM STILL STUCK, PLEASE I NEED SOME HELP
So here is the story:
I had Jedi Mind Trick X, but i wanted to upgrade to CM10, and they said that the best was to get CWM Recovery 6, so i open up the ROM Manager app, and clicked on Flash CWM, everything was working fine untill the app asked for root rights, i granted it and then the app frozze. So i tried it again, and same results. So i figured out i had to see if it has updated (the cwm recovery), so i enter recovery mode, and then i can see there that it was updated (this i think, was the bad choice).
And so i start the process of flashing CM10 following the instructions, i already had a nandroid backup so i skipped that step and go right into the wipe data / factory reset. When i was on that screen the app froze, after waiting for a while that it was still froze, i shut down my device and started up again. Of course the phone didnt boot.
So at this point i had a phone that didnt boot, and a recovery that wasnt full installed (so it didnt work either). So i thinked ODIN might be the solution.
i flashed trought odin CWM 5 again and Telus stock ROM.
BUT now, the phone wont enter download mode (shuts downs), and it wont boot either. Althought, the phone DID boot once so i was happy, but it didnt work, the phone shut down by himself.
So now i cant enter recovery mode, download mode, neither boot. every time it enters a mode, it shuts down. so i need gelp
Im thinking of attaching a video of my situation.
Im sory for my english, im from Argentina.
Thanks in advance.
im starting to think tha might be a hardware problem of the power button

[Q] Turbo Kernel: Cannot fastboot, flashmode, or install new ROM

I'm using a Verizon R800x with TurboKernel and (previously) TurboUI.
I wiped TurboUI to install a different ROM which turned out to be GSM, meaning I couldn't get signal, so I went to wipe that, as well. However, afterwards my phone would boot to 'SONY', then get a blank screen, before going black and rebooting again. It didn't respond to anything, until eventually I managed to get it into recovery mode. In TWRP recovery mode I wiped the cache, dalvik cache, etc. to clean up the messed up ROM.
Then, I went into the bootloader. However, this is where the real problem started. I can't stop getting the bootloader. I can't boot into flashmode to install different firmware, I can't boot into fastboot to install a different kernel, and installing a compatible ROM with the kernel just results in the same thing: it just goes into the bootloader.
Every boot, regardless of what I do, what I wipe, what I install, what I hold as I plug in the USB cable or whatever, I get the Turbo Kernel menu. Strangely enough, it consistently gives me the 'first time startup' message everytime it boots into it.
Worst of all is that Cosmic Dan has disabled PMs, closed the threads for all of his projects, deleted the mediafire links, and hasn't posted in over a month. I'm at a total loss; I can't flashmode or fastboot to change anything and I can't install a rom to just get my damn phone working again. I've never felt so clueless and helpless, I've been at this for hours.
EDIT: Just got Slimbean to install by going in via CWM and wiping/installing rather than TWRP; the system, yet again, reset TWRP settings and gave me the 'first time startup' message, but then booted into SlimBean no problem. My phone is working, but I want it back on Gingerbread, so not being able to fastboot/flashmode is still sort of a big problem.
EDIT 2: Tertiary problem, SlimBean has my phone recognized as an R800i rather than an R800x and as a result, most play store apps refuse to download as they're 'not supported on my phone', and the button configurations are messed up, so I can't even use the gamepad for emulators. In the event of never being able to solve this inability to flashmode/fastboot, is there a way to force it to recognize the phone as an R800x, perhaps by editing files in the root directory?
Check your build prop.... Change the model from r800i to r800x. That should help with that.
The phone does not need to be running in order to be put into fastboot/flashmode. Turn it off, hold the Back button (flashmode) or the Search button (fastboot) when plugging it into the USB cable. If you go into fastboot, the notification LED will be blue, for flashmode it will go green.
I actually have this same SlimBean setup (complete with the phone appearing as a r800i on the Play Store), but never had any problem reinstalling any of the apps I had on the phone previously. And this even includes the My Verizon Mobile app (which I have installed so I can find out the amount of data I've used as far as Verizon is concerned, since what they think is what affects the final phone bill in terms of whether I've gone over my limit or not ). Which apps are actually complaining about being incompatible that you had before?

Not Booting to Recovery, Download Available

Hello All,
My Device is SGH-M919...Rooted and was running Cyanogenmod 13.
Last week something went wrong (no idea what happened, but phone went black screen and when rebooted it just stays in boot loop)...Tried to went to recovery to clear cache and format so that i can start over, but it never boots into recovery....So, i re flashed TWRP (which i had earlier), but no joy...
So i decided, to flash the stock ROM and start all over again (not worried of backup as i have daily backup of my calls, sms, pics, videos etc)...
Tried flashing stock via ODIN, it shows succesful, but it still is in boot loop...it just shows the Samsung logo and restarts.....Tried to went to Recovery, but its not booting into Recovery, But am able to goto the Download mode and ODIN recognizes my device...
What am i doing wrong or what am i missing in the whole process of recovering my phone...
Any help is much appreciated.....
Note: I already moved to Moto X Pure, but still miss my S4....
Did you boot to stock recovery and perform a factory wipe before booting the stock rom for the first time?
