Quadbeat ear phones - LG Optimus G Pro

Guys, just received my phone. Want to ask if there is some setting to enable Quadbeat earphones? When I listen through Quadbeat, the sound is very very hollow and day night difference when I listen through my soundmagic E10 earphones?

Bluetooth Headphones

Im in search of a pair of bluetooth headphones for a good price and good quality.
I got my gf a pair of Plantronics Backbeats for $40 which was a great buy.
So anything around that price and quality.

Thanx in Advance
No such thing. A jabber clip and sound magic pl-30's is a good combo.

Nokia bh503. Bought on ebay for $20. Not noise canceling but great quality and great battery life. Highly recommended. They are strong like a nokia brick yet light

I have the Jabra BT3030 "Dog Tag" headset. It takes any headphones w/a 3.5mm plug and has music controls + send/end call and volume.

Headphones

Just wondering what headphones everybody uses. I have a pair of Klipsch S4's and they sound good but they are kind of broken. I have to bend them in order to get the sound to work. I am in the market for some new ones, so I'm looking for some recommendations.
I have a pair of skull candy's (i don't remember which model but they're in-ear) and I use my Apple headphones most.

I use Bose over the ear headphones.

Sony professional series over the ear headphones. Most comfortable for mixing long sessions and best drivers I've heard in anything near their price range.

I really like the Shure SE 115's Sound great and block out noise.
I use skully candy headphones lol they get the job done and right now can't afford anything too expensive. Looking to get some Dre Beats soon though
I have a pair of Seinnheiser CX 500-B ear buds. They sound really nice. Good highs and excellent lows. Plus they're dirt cheap.
I have had a couple sets of V-moda headphones and my experience has been really good.

These are what I use now. The reinforced cord is awesome for durability.

I ended up going with some "Sony MDR-XB20EX 9mm High Sensitivity Driver Extra Bass EX Earbuds"

Galaxy lovers....what's your earphone?

OK, I hang out in the earphone forums, looking for those with sound quality.
What is your current earphone of affection (either you own or not)?

i like the one with good sound quality, good bass, very cheap, decent looking.
Was considering the Shure pro series, but my student loans said otherwise... ended up getting the ZAGG smartbudds from the people that make Invisible Shield screen protectors. The sound quality is fantastic, the buds stay in my ears, the weird 'hanging tight' cord config actually is fantastic. Best part, got them on Amazon for £25. Bargain.

Reid and Heath Acoustics (RHA) MA-350 in-ear phones. Excellent sound quality and bass, easily as good as my old Sennheiser, and only £30 from Amazon.
I have been using Shure SE215's for a while now. They are the best earphones I have ever had, I love them. They go for around $100 on eBay.
Klipsch Image S4 :good:

I did not find any other ear piece better than my Bose IE in ear. Using them from past two years and sound quality is great for both calls and music.

Currently using either my JH Audio JH13 Pros or Westone ES3X. Some of the best IEMs you can get. If you value sound and isolation, I'd recommend even the cheapest of IEMs from westone or JHA over any earbud or earphone. There are some even cheaper IEMs from smaller companies that have gotten very good reviews on head-fi.
When I don't want wires, I use a Motorola SF600 w/Comply tips.
Awesome bluetooth earphones that support Apt-X. With the comply tips they have thundering bass and clear mids/highs that rival some mid tier and more expensive wired earphones I've tried such as my Phonak PFE122, Phiaton MS 400, and V-Moda Crossfade LP. Bass is so strong I actually have to put low freqs into the negatives in the EQ to balance it out, after which they sound incredible considering I've never thought any BT earphone/headphones sounded good.
As far as headphones, the only one I've tried and kept that could compare to the 2 IEMs listed above in terms of sound and isolation is my Beyer Dynamics DT1350, although the new Sennheiser Amperior has gotten my attention lately and costs about the same as the DT. Supposedly slightly better comfort and sound, so may try it later on.
not really a fan of the in ear types, skullcandy hesh 2
I workout a lot and love the Bose in-ears. They stay put and sound great. Not too expensive either.

Sony XBA-1's, they've been amazing so far, sound clarity is amazing and the bass is quite clear and not muddy.

[Q] Why does the Nexus 7 2013 have very low bass?

Hey, how's it going. :silly:
The Nexus 7 2013 plays music accurately and the highs sound very matured, but even with Beats with Xlouder the bass is to low.
I have tried all the mods i can find, Like viper4android that's great but the Nexus 7 still lacks hard bass, can someone help me please?
Thanks. The bass sounds low, and at time sounds like it's farting as supposed to my Ascend Y201 that runs rings around the Nexus's bass. Please help

It's really not intended to have bass, being a mobile device. Plug it into some speakers with a subwoofer.

Because tiny speakers are useless at putting out low frequencies.

i meny using headphones, it's terrible but great clarity no bass it's sad
Only thing you could do is use DSP manager and set a bass EQ.

I use a cheap and cheerful pair of senheisser ear buds, my htc one ear buds, and some cheap and chearful senheisser cans, all play music with great bass (i say great, as in great for the price paid for the headphones, but it's still plenty enough for a good d&b rave while doing the dishes)
Yeah..

The bass through the headphone jack is very poor, even with Viper and sound mod's. Comparing it to the Galaxy Nexus and it sounds a ton better. Cheap DAC probably? Wouldn't mind a developer to develop a mod that will really push the nexus 7's bass to the limit lol.
Don't use expensive high impedance headphones?
My nexus drives cheap ear buds bass retarded loud I had to eq it

Man their HD 201's, 24OHM lol
Lol at people driving big cans without amps. (Yes there is even bigger)
Try a 8ohm phone and listen how much better it sounds.
Besides 201's aren't known for their bass. Set up to 202s. Or at least properly drive them.
Used my device with my Grado SR80i's (32Ohm), Sennheiser HD-25 II (70 OHM) and with a professional concert PA system. The bass is fine on all 3 platforms. Make sure you turn off any EQs or DSPs in the phone, those are usually ****.
I can't say I use my Nexus 7 for music that much as I tend to listen via my phone, but I didn't think the sound output was particularly bad to say it is a tablet, even with a generic pair of cheap earphones. Perhaps if you want super bass and unrivalled fidelity you should consider maybe a hi-fi? Just saying...
Most probably, if you want more bass, it's unnaturally much bass anyway. Just like people who want (and are used to) totally oversaturated AMOLED displays and find accurate displays "pale"...

anyways, maybe your phone jack is broken and you cant plug in your headphones correctly? you may check it with other earphones/plugs...
I anyway want only more of one thing:
COWBELL!

Compared both my N7 2013 and S4.
The S4 has better quality on the same HiFi earphone (SM E10s).
But still N7 2013 delivers good sound though

Please recommend me a Bluetooth MONO headset for calls

Hi,
I spend a lot of time driving a car and I really need a wireless headset. I've had a couple of Sony Ericsson headsets in the past, they were OK-ish, but not that good. Call quality was so-so, sometimes they would fall out of my ear and so on.
Now I wanna buy a new headset. Is there a best buy model out there?
All I really need is good call quality, nothing fancy; I don't need it for music listening, I don't need it to read my SMS and so on. I just want a simple, yet effective bluetooth headset. Something which will allow me to hear the other person well and the other person to hear me well, all this in a car, so i guess some noise cancelling is preferable.
Please post your recommendations. Thanks

That seems like a very good earpiece. It's a little expensive though, anything cheaper you can recommend?
