What headphones u use for workouts (swimming, running, gym, etc)

I've been using the Motorola rocker bluetooth headphone. It works great outdoor and indoor, but not under water. Got one for cheap from Newegg for $39
http://www.motorola.com/Consumers/U...adsets/MOTOROKR-S9-HD-Stereo-Headphones-US-EN
I'd never swim with them, but I use Klipsch S4i for running (I'd have bought S4a if they were out when I got mine). Sound great. When not running, I use Bowers & Wilkins P5's. It really all depends on budget and personal needs.
Is the p5 really that good, they are affordable and seem really nicely designed

I'd never run in them, lol. I run the West Coast warehouse for the company that handles Bowers & Wilkins US distribution, so I'm a huge B&W fan. I've got a Panorama, too. Love it.
The comfort and amazing sound quality make P5's worth $300. Fortunately for me, I didn't pay full price. You won't get deep, loud, thumping bass. It's properly rendered sound, the way the artists intended it.
I listen to multiple genres. They all sound better with P5's. Whether it's classic/alternative/rock or dubstep, I'm hearing things I never heard before in the music.
I use the commons. Phones in-ears get splited out from my ears because of the sweat.
I just need to have those who have a support for the back of the ear, to do not fall when running too fast =P
I use the Skullcandy Ink'd for workouts. They're light and comfortable but the cable does make some noise if you let it rub on things. Just run the cable from the inside of your shirt to avoid this. Plus they sounds decent audio-wise.

Rocketfish BT headphones. Great sound quality, all controls are on the left headphone, fits great and a full change last 10-12 hours. Also works with almost all music players available on android.
Available at Best Buy for $59.

The S4's are really nice, try to get the one with the buttons so you can stop and pause on the go.
I use skull candy phones for running, and Bose makes headphones for underwater. Sony, I believe sells vaccum bags for phones underwater.

i use bose noise cancelling headphones. bass is great.
My votes go to either Skullcandy or Jlab Jbuds.
for running I prefer Sennheiser CX-200 street II and Monster Beats by Dr. Dre solo. Beats are so comfortable, I love them!
OK, I hang out in the earphone forums, looking for those with sound quality.
What is your current earphone of affection (either you own or not)?

i like the one with good sound quality, good bass, very cheap, decent looking.
Was considering the Shure pro series, but my student loans said otherwise... ended up getting the ZAGG smartbudds from the people that make Invisible Shield screen protectors. The sound quality is fantastic, the buds stay in my ears, the weird 'hanging tight' cord config actually is fantastic. Best part, got them on Amazon for £25. Bargain.

Reid and Heath Acoustics (RHA) MA-350 in-ear phones. Excellent sound quality and bass, easily as good as my old Sennheiser, and only £30 from Amazon.
I have been using Shure SE215's for a while now. They are the best earphones I have ever had, I love them. They go for around $100 on eBay.
Klipsch Image S4 :good:

I did not find any other ear piece better than my Bose IE in ear. Using them from past two years and sound quality is great for both calls and music.

Currently using either my JH Audio JH13 Pros or Westone ES3X. Some of the best IEMs you can get. If you value sound and isolation, I'd recommend even the cheapest of IEMs from westone or JHA over any earbud or earphone. There are some even cheaper IEMs from smaller companies that have gotten very good reviews on head-fi.
When I don't want wires, I use a Motorola SF600 w/Comply tips.
Awesome bluetooth earphones that support Apt-X. With the comply tips they have thundering bass and clear mids/highs that rival some mid tier and more expensive wired earphones I've tried such as my Phonak PFE122, Phiaton MS 400, and V-Moda Crossfade LP. Bass is so strong I actually have to put low freqs into the negatives in the EQ to balance it out, after which they sound incredible considering I've never thought any BT earphone/headphones sounded good.
As far as headphones, the only one I've tried and kept that could compare to the 2 IEMs listed above in terms of sound and isolation is my Beyer Dynamics DT1350, although the new Sennheiser Amperior has gotten my attention lately and costs about the same as the DT. Supposedly slightly better comfort and sound, so may try it later on.
not really a fan of the in ear types, skullcandy hesh 2
I workout a lot and love the Bose in-ears. They stay put and sound great. Not too expensive either.

Sony XBA-1's, they've been amazing so far, sound clarity is amazing and the bass is quite clear and not muddy.

I was at Dealextrreme today and saw some headphones call Skull, from here http://dx.com/s/earphone+skull . they have head phones and i was wondering if they were anygood. i trying to look into something else that has better sound. I was just curious about the skull earphone. Thanks,
Since they're marketed at fashion-conscious people, I'd be very surprised if they have good sound quality. Most buds like that are form-over-function. Have a look at some known brands instead, like JVC, Sennheiser or MEElectronics.
they're aimed at younger crowds and are pretty bass heavy. they are cheaply made and one ear WILL give out on you within a couple months. i've had multiple pairs and it never fails.
For good headphones, look into Sennheiser, Bose, hell Beats are aimed at a fashion/hip hop crowd but they're pretty good. Although if you're looking for ear buds rather than over ear headphones, I personally recommend the Bose IE2 headset. It retails for $100 but I got mine brand new on Amazon for $70.
Stock ICS on my S3
Don't get beats or skullcandy or bose for that matter.. It's just fashion and don't sound like the top end products do.. Do some searching before you buy..

Get the Sony MDR-E818LP. They're about $10-20. They are by far the best earphones I've used. Great bass, and great treble.
I would NOT recommend any electronics from Deal Extreme. Yes, they're cheap but they quality represents their price tag.
If you're looking for over the ears headphones, you can consider the Audio Technica ATH-PRO5V
Very very balanced and clear sound. Balance is the main characteristic of these headphones. From there, if you like your songs bass-heavy or a little bit more powerful in the highs, you can you an equalizer app and save your favorite settings as a preset.

no doubt. i went through 5 sets. gas station by me sells (sold) them. every single one of them had an ear go out. even just from a slight tug. i thought it was my fault because sometime if the wire get slightly caught it will kill it. nope just poor quality. another thing i noticed was that each color sounded different? is that how it is supposed to be or are they just that crappy?

I'm sorry but Bose is just as bad as Skullcandy.
Bose is overpriced stuff marketed as 'serious' audiophile gear.
While Skullcandy is marketed as 'cool', 'fashion' audiophile gear.
The only Bose headphones worth getting are the Noise Cancelling series and the only Skullcandy worth buying is the Aviator.
I used to have Bose, one of the biggest mistakes I've made with my money.

Search for these Sony headphones on eBay, Amazon, and other etailers... MDR-EX210B and MDR-EX58V. These are great and I've used them for a couple of years already, they change the model numbers and design every now and then but the audio drivers that they use are the same and they're great. I've had Sennheisers and several of the great SkullCandy ones like the Titan series, so I vouch for these Sony earbuds. These fits your budget too
Heh. Any ol' headphones will do ya good. I got some 5-10 dollar headphones from a store not far from where I live.
If you use HTC Sense, you will have extended music enhancers. In CM, you have DSP Manager.
In all rights, it all doesn't matter, most are loud. Unless you have a low playing song.
I will look into the ideas so far but keep em' coming!
I personally used and recommend the brand Skullcandy.
Skullcandy Metal and Skullcandy 50/50 (currently own).
both with great sounds, bass. it will blow you away!
I think Sennheiser CX-300 II is a good choice for you.
It sounds balanced and its sound quality is a lot better than others of the same price.

depends what kind of music u listen too, if u want treble skull candy is a bad choice, but its base is good, dont go by brand names go by quality and the features,
check the frequency,
i own 2 headphones
skull candy smoking buds(no treble at all)
panasonic sports gear (awesome heaven)
btw if ur wondering
bass= the sound of the instruments
treble= the sound of the vocals
ok.....so i wen and view in a techmarket some headphones and i tried some and ended up buying the pioneer se-mj721 , and i have to say for not being an in-ear but on-ear they have a hell of a bass lvl. Im glad i bought em the only downside is they dont provide noise cancellation as the in-ear type!
never the less im REALY GLAD OF THEM!
This thread may be closed now unless someone wishes to ask for advice like i did!
Skull candy or AKG!

No one has mentioned the jvc fx101's yet? Lol they have the most bass compared to every other headphone for under 20$.
Audiophiles highly recommend this headphones and I myself own a pair of jvc fx3x's and they blow me away. Bass is comparable and way more compared to beats. Sometimes if you stay reallt still you can feel the bass in your chest XD
I also recommend using poweramp as your player with these headphones because they bass is so immense and crazy that my volume has to be turned down.
You can find these headphones online or at future shop which is where i got them. Anyways consider the jvc's if you want equivalent and better sounding bass than beats for 1/10 the price

I actually have a pair of Phillips headphones that go in your ear and I love those things! Not sure if that's what you're looking for or the big ones that go on your head. I really like them, great bass, and they were like $20 at Sears or something.

My Beats Solo HD and HTC one V,
Any one using Beats solo HD with HTC one V??
I use Beats solo HD headphones with my HTC one V. When am listening to music, i don't know why those hands-free controls on headphones wont function, except the middle red colour button for play and pause. I mean the 2 extra buttons above and below (which is generally, either used for volume +/- OR previous/back OR fast forward/backward doesn't function at all.
can some one help me with this?? PLEASE!!:crying:

Best for the price and for people who are on a budget, it's the best deal.
panasonic in ear headphones,strongly recommend
Am looking for good workout headphones
Any ideas?
well from my experiance I would recomend any in-ear headphones + well fitted silicone rubbers = no chance of falling off.
For better experiance I will also say: get a shirt clip-on or something like that so that cable won't tighten down and pull your ears.
It's a personal matter but I don't like any earphones that go around your ear and any of this fancy designs. in-ear headphones are perfect for running and enduro mountainbiking for me.
PS. my personal pick of in-ears: aJays two
^^^ Excellent broad spectrum advice.
I completely agree with IEMs and shirt clip. Silicon ear tips won't be as comfortable as foam (such as Shure olives or Comply), but clean better.
For more specific recommendations, please either tell us your genres/musical preference and budget or visit my guide in sig.
-No longer accidental, just Jeremy. F.cfb
[Guide] Headphone/Earphone Buying
Comply ear tips: You really can't go wrong on those. They sell kits with different sizes for you to experiment, and when you're sure of your perfect size you can order a whole box of those. They feel amazing and stay in your ear whatever workout you're using. You just have to worry about your phone falling out of your pocket while exercising, which happens to me quite often.
Do you mean headphones or earphones?
For headphones, get yourself the Sennheiser HD 25-1 II Basic Edition.
I've got them as well, light weight, better than best sound quality.

Well, I would prefer the likes of SONY or BOSE.
The ones from SONY have an ear clip & are hung on the ear. The ones by BOSE have a unique shape that just doesn't let 'em fall &/or get wet!!

I use my PortaPro's for workouts, they're holding up just fine and get the job done. Sound amazing too, though they're supra-aural so the sound isolation is near nonexistent and sound will leak out at high volumes

Im using Sennheise PMX 685i. Work very well for workouts and just daily use. I find the sound to be very acceptable as i cant use inner ear only buds. Very happy with them but i did over pay for them at the airport $99AUD instead of $50AUD outside of the airport
The monster isports have been the best I have ever used. Around $65 through Amazon

I would suggest iBeats Headphones
I'd recommend Sennheiser cx300 II (in-ear). They would stick to your ears really nice and won't fall out (at least not whilst running/bike riding/skating (skateboard), haven't tried different sports with them). They don't break too fast either and ain't that expensive (paid 45€ for mine at Saturn in Germany).

Beats by Dre.
you need something light, durable and good sounding:
If you need isolation then look for an earphones like Vsonic, Brainwavz etc... There are many very nice sounding things under $50
If you don't need isolation, either a earbud like Yuin pk3 or Hisoundaudio PAA-1 pro, or a light headphones like Jays V Jays or Portapro
I run with SONY MDR-AS50. They work great for me.
