Hey everyone, this is my first post on the forums and I just wanted to verify somethings about the new update.
I just replaced my apparently not defective (multi touch issues) Nexus 7 2013 and a new one is coming in. The problem here is the new one will be on the JWR66N build and I want to know if this new update will be available for this build or will I be stuck using this build without Netflix?
Thanks!
There is an update I also came from a JWR66N built. Netflix works..

Hooray!! Thanks for the fast reply! How do the multitouch, reboot, and gps issues look like? Still there or has it been removed? still paranoid lol
Honestly.. I was scared to upgrade at first because of all the post I've been reading but after updating, there was no multitouch issues.. No reboot or any other issue.

Thank you so much for your info. Now I know that I won't be returning the new one I'm getting in the mail friday
Well this is my experience with my tablet.. I'm not sure how yours is going to respond to the update.. Since I've read that users have different experiences. Hope for the best

Is this different build a different version of LB?
Please consider consolidating JSS15Q experiences in this post

Please confirm that you are indeed running JSS15Q and not JSS15J.
I got JSS15J. Is this the new or the old build?

He said, what is new when the file you posted is the one that was being used for Flash in ICS? Therefore, no need for you to create another thread for your file.
I think that's what he meant.
yes i mean what "aleemz" sad, sorry for how i elaborate the question!
Oh, well what I meant was the latest version of the Flash Player is this at the moment. I just posted this topic for the newbies who wanted to find the latest version easily

I don't understand this whole flash thing & its dissapearance of its support around the interwebs. What will replace it, HTML 5? Is there more HTML 5 on the web than flash at this moment in time, thus the reason for the abandonment.? Wouldn't it have mad sense for continued support until a later date when its replacement was more mainstream & in use.?

I saw in the Nexus 10 changelog something about Performance Enhancements. Hopefully, the lag 4.2.1 brought is fixed (especially the new megalag in the recents menu)
Going to be checking for updates all day tomorrow.

I'd say nothing major changed - there's new radio LJ1, kernel is the same .31 built in November. And that changelog text on the N10 pic is the same as for 4.2.1.

HA! Like Google Fixes bugs, or works properly with the community...Nexus 4 launch was a mess, they are not addressing updates for non-Nexus phones and bugs just get left for years...

People who are getting the update are reporting that it does seem to be fixed.
And here are the manual update instructions.

10 bucks it won't fix a damn thing
Spotted a few new things, a whitelist option for USB debugging, the APN selection has been de-Gingerbreaded, Bluetooth and WiFi tiles also toggle connectivity with a long press. The notification dropdown animation seems slower too.

Any thoughts? Google might unveil 4.3 on the I/O this May instead of KLP 5.0. I could be wrong though. Honestly I could care less if it's KLP or 4.3 I'm just hoping that Google fixes what they broke on 4.2.
Anyone's guess here. Maybe a quick update to 4.3 for minor issues, and jump to 5.0 later in the summer. I've seen reports of server logs with Android 5.0.1 on a Google X device, and now this report of 4.3. I think JBQ and his team aren't sleeping much these days.
Sent from my Xoom using xda premium
I'm guessing 4.3 this coming May and later this year it will be the next Nexus + KLP. Anyhow in less than 30 days we'll know
I hope 4.3 will be just an update. An update like bug fixing shouldn't need a special event. Then a Motorola Google phone or Nexus (or maybe it's same) for a Google I/O. KLP should also be there with the new devices.

I honestly think that they are gonna give us support for 4.3 but kill us off on KLP.
But we will still have our great devs!

Personally i would like to have the 4.2 memory errors and leaks fixed,4.2.2 was good but i removed my custom roms and i have tried many, they all had the same errors, lags etc.Now i am on stock 4.1.2 rooted with busybox installed and the louder jelly bean nexus add on for sound.
4.3 ?Honestly i expect bug fixes for Samsung Galaxy nexus.
I'm always anxious for new builds. Any word of Babel being implemented into 4.3?

I think that may be the update to fix bugs and add babel along with security stuff maybe.

hope they won't change coding again. It would take "ages" for custom roms to settle down again
I was hoping that 5.0 would be released at I/O and come to my galaxy nexus just to tide me over until I upgrade from my galaxy nexus. 4.3 will probably be a minor update, sort of like 4.2 was and will probably break more things than fix things on my galaxy nexus.

My galaxy nexus worked perfectly on 4.1.2, battery life was decent as well, but 4.2.2 ruined my nexus, so many bugs, lag and battery suffered as well. The galaxy nexus has its fair share of issues as well and after owning it for 16 months, it is beginning to wear on me. I still love it but its becoming more of a love-hate relationship.

Hmmm...I've been delighted with 4.2.2 on my GNex. Never run smoother or been more stable than now. Other than a minor issue with Bluetooth handoff between vehicles and house phone, it's good.
Sent from my Xoom using xda premium
Mine runs beautifully. Idk if it is actually something since I haven't been back to 4.1 since the ota but it seemed smoother. 4.2 is smooth too but 4.1 just seemed... Different... I like 4.2 too though. I love my nexus and won't upgrade until probably late 2014, no reason to...

hope bugs on 4.2.2 get solved on 4.3. and if v5 release, maguro get the update also

That's interesting, 4.2.2 just feels like a rushed release to me, lock screen widgets lag and don't seem very thought out and the Bluetooth issues are annoying as well. Even with fresh stock images flashed, there is still a bit of sluggishness.

Agreed. Personally, I would much rather have a very polished 4.3JB on my "aging" nexus, than jumping to a rough KLP.

Ey guys Just wanted to know when android 4.4 will be officially released for the nexus 7 2013 edition Im so excited:fingers-crossed:
Thanks!!
Right now, we have no official date. HTC said the GPe One will receive the update within 15 days of release. That is November 15. That suggests the 4, 7, and 10 should receive the update before then.

I honestly don't know. I bought mine the minute it was released on the Play Store in the US and received it Monday afternoon. You can try checking the Nexus 5 forum. AC posted this, but it currently only covers US, UK, and Canada http://www.androidcentral.com/nexus-5-where-and-when-can-you-buy-one

Here's a brilliant idea: nobody post anything about 4.4 until there's actually news about it.

It is only present in MHC19J. Fair warning, if you decide to update, TWRP seems like it needs an update in order to view internal storage.

No clue, I just know MHC19J is supposed to have the following according to the Google employee on Reddit:
General slow/sluggish performance
DND next alarm disappearing issue
Bluetooth/WiFi improvements
Carrier-specific bug fixes
Edt: MHC19J is also our March OTA. The Nexus 6P received a similar build yesterday.
The V build is just the build with the March update the J build fixes some bugs and such as posted above. Honestly, I don't notice much of a difference with the J update (I was on Q before). I'm running the J build on my 5x and the N preview on my 6p.

Using MHC19J since yesterday coming from the february version and it is a new phone. 300% speed increasement, camera also much faster. This is the version it should has been in november.
