There is no difference, at all. Flash any
Powered by GSR with Android 4.1.2 on the board.
Got a link for the Japanese ftf?
Also, maybe don't flash the baseband as you might not be able to get a signal...

just search mate.,.!! have a nice look on general section.
my phone is xperia arc s lt18i build number 4.1.B.0.431 it is ok if i will download the gb for xperia arc LT15i because it has the same build number, my arc s build number is not on the choices for arc s but is has the same build number on arc w/c is 4.1.B.0.431
Since rooting directly in 4.0.4 is not possible, one needs to downgrade to a rootable GB ROM to root. (Skip this step if you are already in GB).
To Downgrade, you need to flash an old GB ROM ftf to your device.

None of them. If you want to root 4.0.4, download THIS and THIS. First downgrade kernel (first link) with flashtool, then use Root toolkit, then upgrade kernel, and you'll have rooted 4.0.4...
If you want to root GB, simple way is to flash .42 and root it with THIS. I still wasn't able to root .62 but I heard there is a way.
P.S. you have to download LT18i firmwares.

1. Get it from Here
2. Yes, sure.
3. ICS17 is the modified stock kernel added more features than stock one
Hold on.......
If you've flashed the ics17 kernel then you've unlocked the bootloader yes?
Then scrap off any ics rom and flash Jellybean

Hi guys! I'm sorry, my question may be strange, but I'm not powerful in a questions about firmware.
I have Sony Xperia acro hd SO-03D. Bootloader unlock allowed NO.
How can I install CM on my device? Or can I install firmwares of the Xperia Acro S? Becouse docomo latest version is 4.0.4 and Acro S latest is 4.1. I would be have custom firmware.

you can only install stock based JB 4.1.2 from Xperia Acro S and it is a little bit risky.. you can brick your phone.. CM roms requires unlocked bootloader.. :/

you forget to flash the kernel from inside the rom zip. these roms REQUIRE custom kernel.
kernel on xperia2011 needs to be flashed manually via fastboot on pc or via flashtool.
good luck
