Decent GT 10.1 (P7510) case on eBay

Looks like the iPad case, but leather and only $17.99 with free shipping on eBay.

The case showed up today from the eBay seller and I have to say I'm quite pleased.
It's fairly sturdy, holds the tablet snugly in place with a velcro strap, has perfectly aligned openings for the camera, charging port, headphone jack etc., has all the other features of an iPad case like folding up to incline for typing or watching movies and when closed it's held shut with hidden magnets.
I've put all the pictures I took of the case into an album for those of you who are looking for a case.

So when it's shut down it doesn't open up by mistake? The magnets attach to the tablet itself?
It's certainly the best price for this type of case.... now I am torn between this one and the official book sleeve case (which is $ 60!)

No, when it's closed it stays shut and is very solid. The magnets are in the edges of the flap that closes and in the part that covers the bezel of the tablet (right where the front-facing camera is).
Because of how sleek and light the GT10.1 is I didn't want a case that would add too much bulk like the ones I've seen for the XOOM. As long as it holds together this case fits the bill perfectly and I don't see myself replacing it

It's the "PU" that scares me. I got a "PU" case for my Nook Color and it stunk so bad I had to leave it outside. P.U.! It smelled like dead meat.

I've been using mine for a week now and I'm quite happy with it, especially for the price I paid.
When using it as a stand, it's not the most stable unless you arrange it so that you're viewing it "upside-down" but it'd be fine as long as it's on a stable surface.

Weight?
Do you have the specs on the weight of this case? I want one that is *really* *really* light to go with the low weight of the gtab

I really like this case.
I currently have the belkin slim folio case but I find very hard to insert and take the tab out because the case is very tight and its material generates too much friction.
Is it hard to insert and take the tab out from this case?

I just bought one based on your review. Thanks for posting this. It seems like the best case for the money so far. How many days did it take from ordering till you received it? I'm hoping to have it before camping this weekend.
Also, it has to be unfolded to be charged correct?

Hm... this looks like a nice case for carrying the tab around. I actually got a soft gel (TPU) case just to be able to throw the tablet around at home since I already have a screen protector. And I like how it's texturized on the sides for better grip.

I just put in my order & projected arrival date of Jul 5-7.
The case is only 5.8 ounces so that is really light..plus I like how it has the two stand positions.

That RooCase is built exactly like the Belkin case, and for nearly half the price. I should have ordered this. I may order it and return my belkin case.

I kind of wanted that one, but I needed something with a zipper to keep dust and stuff off the tab. I bought the roocase executive portfolio, and it's very nice quality, so I would recommend a roocase

I dont like the picture frame style flap on the back.

The flap /back of the case each have magnets, so it doesn't flap at all. It's completely flush with the case, kind of recessed, when not in use.

I ordered a different rooCase one (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0050IU2N2/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?ie=UTF8&m=A2IHZFOHOQ0WG8) and it just arrived today. Seems very nice, good construction quality and the velcro works. I don't have my tab at work so I don't know what the fit is like, but it looks accurate. Will find out tonight!

I've seen that one too, but I'm not a fan of the velcro. Is it real leather or PU?

Pretty sure it's real leather - at least no strange smells.
Fit is good, I really like it for carrying around protection and using as a stand. Is a bit bulky for everyday sit-on-the-couch use. I am extremely offended by the PC Micro company though - they sent an email asking for a good review in return for a $2 refund. Not cool!

I got my Roocase today. It is very nice. It fits great. Only thing I notice is when you have it down at the low angle the tablet is upside down....which really doesn't matter since the screen flips

i ordered this last week and it was backordered. I am finally getting it tomorrow. Ofcourse I will post pictures and review when I get it.

Yep I got mine this week and I like it a lot. I'd recommend it. Quality is good and stands up / angles towards you pretty well. It's similar to the Apple iPad folding case but fold is a little more thick and sturdy.

I just got a Samsung Galaxy 10.1 and I will be using it for school. Now I need a case that also has a stand and am most likely going to get it from amazon. It seems rooCase is the most popular there and is this ultra slim seems the most likely for me. But it looks like it cannot tilt, or I cannot angle it more. Am I right about this. I really need to change the angle and I need a small case for the school table.

Good fitting case
Just got the ultra-slim Roocase for my GT 10.1. I really like it. The quality looks good, and most importantly, it looks like it will protect my tab very well. I would recommend it.

Review: "Grid" exercise armband works with cases!

If you search for "galaxy s3 grid armband" on eBay, you'll find it. I bought from "wanghaostore".
It's also listed under other names, you can search further under "galaxy s3 sport armband" once you know what the auction picture looks like.
The armband came a bit folded in half probably from shipping, I need to set something heavy on it to flatten it out....
Fit
The armband fits really good. All the buttons are accessible. You can change the volume while running, as well as easily access the ports and power button.
The armband also works with cases! As you can see in the last picture I have my diztronic TPU case on it.
Feel
The material is a little scratchy, but overall it's comfortable and will stay put on the arm. It's a tech-fabric material with what looks like a nylon weave "cushion" underneath.
It should be pretty sweat-resistant, the material where the phone sits is neoprene, so it shouldn't absorb sweat or scratch the phone.
The strap length is a bit on the short side. It fits for me, I have 13-14 inch biceps. It could probably go up to 19-20 inch biceps, but beyond that you might need a different holster. Smallest it could go is probably around 11-12 inches.
Usability
I always have problems with the plastic screen protector on armbands bubbling up. With this one the case stretches it, so I can easily use the phone while its on my arm. I don't anticipate issues being able to slide or use Pandora.
The main benefit of the armband is also its biggest detriment: All the ports are exposed. Don't plan on using it in the rain. But for a sunny day, or indoors at the gym, it's a great holder.
Price - $1.99 + $1.50 shipping on eBay.
So buy 5, so you can replace it if it becomes stanky from sweat.

Good review. Do you think it will fit those with extended batteries with a tpu case?

Maybe. Its thick enough, there's plenty of vertical space.
My friends phone with incipio silicrylic case fits. Bit tight (width-wise, height has plenty of room),
May even fit with otter box.

Ah, yeah, same here. I was pleasantly surprised, I would say it is the best armband on the market right now.
It may not work with extended battery + TPU case (depends how thick), but I'm fairly confident in saying it'll at least work with the extended battery.
There are a lot of complaints about the Belkin armbands absorbing water/sweat.
I had the iArmbands style for my last phone, they suck.
I might get one of the iGadgitz or CrazyOnDigital type for rain, but this will be my primary-use one, since I don't have to take off the case.

Shipped from hong kong. I bought it on the 24th (weekend), shipped on the 28th, in america on the 30th, and delivered on august 3rd (midwest).

I've thought of this too. I'm intrigued by the Tetrax and whether it would be stable (mostly because I've been thinking about getting one for my car).

NO. That is not the right one.
I actually bought that one through eBay, it sucks. The one I got, the phone doesn't fit in it (not even without the case, it kept pressing the volume button). And the strap is huge, the arm band wouldn't fit on my arm. I ended up throwing it away.
As far as the arm band goes, it should easily fit with the SGP Neo. The diztronic, despite being thin on the back, is quite thick around the sides.

Black Bumper for S3 (HQ pics) Recommend!!

Let me start this review just by saying that i love bumper cases. I
have been looking over the internet to find the best bumper case for
our Galaxy s3. I came across this case. Its a STRONG silicone bumper
that completes me in every aspect.
First of all. Its cheap. I think that everyone can try a cheap case
and if they dont like it, they throw it to their dog. (hehehe) Guys,
seriously. this is the best bumper case i have seen over the internet.
Why? It has a nice touch when you are holding your
phone. VERY nice touch. You will want to just hold your phone because
it has a nice feel Second of all: PROTECTION. And i mean it. Front,
back and sides are fully protected.
Front side (screen): the case has a slight bump on the edges so if the
phone drops the floor, its still protected (floor not the road hehe).
Back: Again, the case has a bump on the edges. So if your phone drops
on the back, protected!!! if you want to lay down your phone on a
table: PROTECTED.
Sides: Full protection, which is obvious why: its the case hehe.
Buttons: FULLy accessible button, both power and volume buttons. They
are covered by a soft silicone so there are very easy to press
(compare to the other tpu case i have reviewed)
I dont know if there are more colours available. You must check on
sellers ebay site.
Rating: If this case would be rated its a rock solid 5/5. Believe me
on this. It defenently worths every peny guys. I even compare it with
a TPU bumper case, that i have reviewed last week, amd this is by far
better.

I love the idea of this case, but had a similar one for my Galaxy Nexus which fell apart in a matter of days. Would be interested in reading an updated review of this one in a few weeks.

I have this case on my phone for a while and feels very steady guys. Note that i am snaping batteries daily, so the case comes on and off (by me i mean) and I havent got a problem so far.

Do you guys mean the material of the case degraded? This is all one-piece right? I was JUST shopping for my first bumper case and saw some aluminum ones that snap or screw together, but it seemed like the TPU ones are just a single piece of material and wrap around the edges.

Its a single piece mate. Plus you dont lose any signal plus its a snap in snap out plus its veryyy cheap

How does this fit with a zag shield?

I think that with the zagg shield you will be ok. The case has already a tight fit so its better not to use extra protection underneeth. I dont think you need zagf shield for the back cover because its already protected from the case.

If it is anything like the one for the Galaxy Nexus (and it appears to be the same), there is a hard plastic material used on the rear portions of the bumper, while the piece which surrounds the screen is flexible rubber. With the GN, the two materials separated.

My clear diztronic tpu case is starting to turn yellow and blue from my jeans so I really need something else. For three bucks I hope it holds up for a little while.

Do you think the the bezel or screen would get damaged if I dropped it from pocket height and it hit the corner on cement? Just wondering if I should still be extra careful when using this bumper.

if your phone hits a straight floor, then its protected. if ur phone hits the road it might be scratched. try to avoid the roads hahahaha :laugh:

i got mine in less than 3 weeks becuase the seller shipped the case in an envelope (like a mail). for three bucks its a bargain.

Devicewear Ridge case for the new N7

The below was copied over from the case n cover thread, but I feel that this case could use its own thread.
For anyone that's interested. I've just received the devicewear ridge case. The back is hard plastic, and its soft leather is glued onto it from the back. It should be very similar to the original N7 in terms of design and material. I have not fitted my N7 onto the case yet, but I already have my doubts. Here's my opinion:
1st, the plastic back came scratched out of the box. There's also about one inch on the plastic that looks like it's been rubbed by sand paper.
2nd, the glue where it connects from the plastic back and cover is already coming off.
3rd, there is that strong chemical smell to it, makes me a bit nauseous. Reminds me of the first gen yoobao leather case I got for my ipad2.
4th and perhaps last, the thin plastic by the power and volume rocker, it feels very flimsy. A little pressure on it might snap it.
The above is from my personal opinion only, maybe others have received a better copy. I have emailed devicewear already, so let's see what their response is. Attached a couple of pics for your reference only.
Update:
I've finally fitted the case to the N7, and it fits like a glove, cutouts are very precise and the smell is almost gone. The inside material is very soft, but catches a lot of lint and dust. Also, the glue is not sticking very well as mentioned above, but devicewear is sending me a replacement, so hopefully it was just a bad copy I received.
Overall it's still a very nice case, a bit pricey for my taste though, $32 shipped. I would still recommend it if you like a quality and slim case, and great customer service as well.

I did mention that the smell was almost gone and they are sending me a replacement, and I do believe that I just got a bad copy. Look at all the positive reviews from amazon for the og n7, it was those reviews that made me choose case. I shall update again when I get the replacement.

I do have 3 extra cases (one rooCASE (same junk as you posted), one MoKo (not bad but I prefer "old" Poetic) and new Poetic replacement (received today, "2 magnets" version). BTW, all of 'em looks much-much better than your pics, even rooCASE, and I've paid total about $10 for all...

I don't have a ruler handy ATM, but here's a pic compared with the duzign folio case I have. It's pretty thin IMO. Should be the same as the original n7.
