well I have an N7100.The NEAK kernel supports it.the NEAK APP has the option. Mine runs mostly on single core during light usage. check if the kernel is available for 7105.

Hey guys, I'm using the s note quite a lot to draw, and can't help to notice that whenever I'm using the pen tool and I click on it again to change to a different pen, it takes quite sometime to open up, like 4 seconds or so, is this the same universally?

Hi so do I check both boxes? Will this increase battery drain by a lot?

I don't see any significant battery drain when GPU rendering is enabled.
The lower the voltage, save battery?

Yes, that is the usual motivation. It is similar to driving a car low on petrol...you ask yourself "how low can it go before I run into problems...."
Some kernel-tweaking combos I know of are Perseus & Adam = STweaks / Saber & others = Trickster / Devil kernel and Devil app
Oh. Another question. In my GPU, 533mhz is 1100. The 640mhz is 1075. So its better if i use 640mhz?

So I noticed this switch in the submenu of Settings -> Battery
Quad Core Control
It says turning this on can help to extend the battery life, but what does it do exactly?
Also, when I did the tests on Antutu, there were no significant difference between having it on or off.
Anyone knows? Thanks in advance

Quad core control is a built in governor controller that LG decided to let us have. When turned on it pretty much changes the Governor to either "Powersave" or "Interactive." When it's off the Governor is either "Ondemand" or "Performance."
Right. And I am not 100% sure but I thought it also controls on how many cores it uses.

So it is not like the CPU control found on S3/S4/Note2 which undervolts the cpu and save energy that way?
Hmm. Is there a way to undervolt the cpu without rooting?

Anyway to keep the battery from draining so ridiculously fast?

What ROM are you running? What apps are you using frequently? A lot goes into determining how to get better battery life

And post a picture of your battery usage.

Yes sorry for lack of info. I was working and only had a second! I'm currently stock completely. Just got the phone yesterday from a friend who bought it but decided he wanted an iPhone 5s. I'm not using anything really. Made a phone call this morning for about 15 minutes. And a little texting here and there. But when the phone is screen off and sleeping the battery is just draining like crazy. I'll post stats in a second.

I believe it's power and volume down if you're on sense and power and home with aosp.
I disabled wifi so I didn't get that constant wifi notification crap. It helped a little. I plan to s_off and root the phone as soon as possible so I can start disabling things to help too.

Greenify
Sent from my SM-P600 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
I would probably use greenify if I was rooted as well. But I find the standby on this thing is awesome compared to other tablets I've tried and doesn't need it.

I love the standby on this thing. Not rooted or using greenify or anything. Leave it at home for 10+ hours when I'm at work on standby with wifi on and the drain is only 3-4% by the time I get back. I only charge this thing every 2-3 days at <30% with a few hours of moderate use every night at home.
Then again it's still fairly new, but its like night and day when compared to my GS3 which drains like a mofo on standby.
Easy battery saver with airplane mode on, right now I'm at 4 days standby with 5.5h screen on and still at 25%battery

No you still can, just turn on airplane and wifi and you are all set, easy battery turns out your wifi when the screens turns off and turns it back on automatically after it comes back on. Works great for me
