Hello XDA community.
I'm having the hardest time finding out how to root my Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini GT-i9190 (Factory Unlocked GSM phone) on a Mac. I've found how to do it with a PC in various threads, but I am having no luck finding how how to do it for Mac!
Please, your help would be much, much, much appreciated.

What about "Heimdall" for Mac OS X (I've never self used it, so I have no idea)

I am completely new to the android scene. I know the basics but I am unable to update my phone OTA.
I am currently on Fido, and have a factory unlocked phone I picked up at Futureshop.
I've been reading a lot online and it seems to be very confusing with the specific model I have.
I would appreciate any help.

Go to the Android development section of the nexus (not cdma) and look at the stickies there are a few tutorials out there on how to flash custom roms and some are noob friendly. Once you get the hang of the basics you'll catch on to the more complex things fairly quickly. Good luck and have fun.

I have a samsumg galaxy s3 through sprint i am trying to flash it to be used on my boost mobile account, newbie here sorry and trying to learn how to do this any help would be helpful

Hello everyone!. I am sorry to post this question, but i have a hard time finding anything here, been searching all morning :/
I have a Galaxy Note II sgh-i317m with Bell running kitkat 4.4.2 Canadian. I would like to root it. I have rooted my s3 from instructions here
and it worked like a charm! I am running Next launcher now and the phone is jailbroke but there is a few apps i need that require rooting.
Any help at all would be great. I always search here it i a wonderful site!

Hi, there are a few tutorials on rooting Note 2.
There is a step by step guide on galaxynote2root.com, google it with your model number phone its easy to find. I am unable to send you the link due to not posting enough comments yet. (SORRY I TRIED)

Hi sorry I am new to this website but I hear this is the place to go to root my phablet
I want it rooted but ive searched for hours and all im seeing are complete guides to t217t or other versions other than my version of the tablet. Ive seen some spotty guides on a workaround root for this device but I am afraid I might mess up and bootloop? It. If anyone could point me in the right direction or tell me how you rooted yours I would gladly appreciate it

I need your help for root and install CWRM or something on my tablet. The version is Wifi and i bougth on spain.
I try do it my self for install CM 12 but i'm not getting succes with any type of root. I'm installing Odin and i'm doing all that the tutorials their telling my.
For the other side, i try to install aplication roots but they don't doing nothing.
