change lockscreen

How can i change the lockscreen (ring) from a sense rom? i want default sense or default stock android

Which Rom do you use?

Widget locker makes you choose between stock, old sense, new sense, iphone etc. Great app

You could also try go locker - free from market. Loads of different themes/ styles downloadable from market, some free, some paid.

well i wanted to get rid of the ring ( both lockscreen and incoming call) not just a app to replace those

There are lots of applications to change ........

The apps mentioned (widget locker, go locker, lockbot) will give you a new lockscreen - whatever style you want. This could be default Gingerbread android, or like the new ICS android or something completely different. Most are free, with a selection of free themes to also download and try. I've got go locker with ICS theme on my cheap tablet - works great. If you don't want to download the app - just try a google search of images of go locker - you can get a good impression of what's available.
You also mention getting rid of the ring, not an app to replace them? There are also apps which will get rid of the lockscreen altogether, so the screen is on when you press a button. Not used them myself, but "No Lock" seems highly rated on the market.
If for some reason you actually want to mod the rom - then sorry, that's beyond me!

If you running Revolution grab the lockscreen and idlescreen apk out of the LeeDrOiD hd port that is pretty much a 2.1 rom till you add the sense 3 add on. It should work out, they use the same base.

I was wondering about this also. Upon research and a lot of googling, I think we can only use live wallpapers if we don't use HTC Sense but instead use other launcher app like Launcher Pro or Go Launcher EX. Haven't tested it though.

I use an exodus live wallpaper and it works well with HTC Sense

I use koi free fish tank live wall paper..it works perfectly than my Samsung galaxy sl...

I believe the SuPrimo ROM has a link to an add-on that allows the battery percentage to be displayed on the top right. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1640995

does not have that option... if you want it really bad then you could try an alt lockscreen app like widget locker or golocker

Ive downloaded & installed a few new themes for my One V and i cant seem to find it nor bring it up on the device?
where am i supposed to throw it on the phone and is there a special way to activate it, or does it just see it and you select it?

you can use any live wallpaper on your htc one v. just install this app <https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.BenPaul.LiveWallShortcut> and then select from downloaded lwp.

Unlock Animation

hey is there anyway to add the unlock animation that the pages flip away like in this video :

For the unlock animation the code isn't available in sense 4+ rosie.apk
And for the shortcut try using viperx and install icon pack sure there will be somthing similar to that

oh its only for sense 4.0 or 4.1 ? =\

if u are using viperx u can change the transition animations in the tweaks app which also changes the lockscreen animation ..
(don't forget to tick 'show animations' in the advance settings)
and as already mentioned u can change the icon pack in viperx

Dash Clock lockscreen widgets with Sense

Now that I finally have Android 4.2.2 I'd like to use Dash Clock but the Sense lock screen really ruins the experience. How can I get the stock lock screen app as an APK? Or is it another way to get a more clean lock screen that works with Dash Clock?

Try to rename htclockscreen.apk to htclockscreen.apk.bak and see if that works.

Thanks, I read that too but my phone is not rooted.

This gave me a new AOSP-looking lockscreen but I couldn't edit any of the widgets on the lockscreen. And there was only one page on it. Is the Sense launcher to blame here as well?

The Sense widget lockscreen by default only has one page.

One page is enough but how do I get dash clock on it now? It doesn't respond to touch input.

You have to go into settings>personalize>lockscreen style>then choose the widget one and click settings and it will bring up the menu of available widgets (it's just like how you configure a live wallpaper).

Problem is it looks like crap on the stock HTC lockscreen since it gets resized to such a small size.

having an issue w/ dashclock 3rd party modules (ie: applauncher module): cant get any of the shortcuts to work. ie: i set up a direct sms or app shortcut but when i extend the widget to press on the desired action, nothing happens. after i press the desired shortcut, unlock the htc l/s, my homescreen is all that shows up...any ideas? tia.

Make sure you have mounted system as read/write and it's not mounted as read only, then it should work.

htc service pack update from playstore
Weather widget you can install with kitkat
For other you need lollipop

But i use lollipop now, how about setting ? Its that work ?

I'm on ARHD 91.1 Lollipop 5.0.2, Sense 6.
Updated home, lockscreen, clock, service pack apps through play store and replaced weather clock widget with Sense 7 one in system/priv-app.
When I apply a theme it only changes the app drawer and wallpaper. No color changes for dialer, messages, and other apps.
You have the same ?
Edit: For that to work. Those apps should also be sense7 ones. i.e. dialer, keyboard, music, gallery etc etc.

Yes these apps dialer, keyboard, music, gallery should be updated their version to 7.xx and this 7.xx version only working with lollipop not kitkat

Tested the car app and it's working just fine... Though the only change in that seems to be weather icon .

Hi, I have a problem, for some reason I cannot log in to my htc account it keeps saying htc servers unavailable, I'd like to download some themes to try them out but I can't, any ideas I'm on the latest viper rom. :banghead:

i updated all i have to ! Im on STOCK HTC Android 5.02 rooted.
I installed following apks:
Gallery
Phone
weatherclock
Music.apk wasnt possible to install. A problem about version conflict. Dont know why !
But here is my question i installed the phone.apk i thought this changes my dialer but nothing. Is the phone.apk not for the dialer ? For what is the phone.apk and how can i change the dialer ? Did i forgot an apk ?

I just had to update the people.apk ! Is the phone.apk also needed to get the new dialer ? Do you know what this apk is for ?

Could you told me where to find the people.apk...can't find it in system/app nor priv-app.
