What is the difference between the TMO and ATT Note 2? I have TMO phone service but ATT tablet/data service with work. I will be using the Note 2 as a tablet without the phone using an ATT sim card so is there any advantage of getting one model over the other?

Initially I thought there were two variants of Samsung Galaxy Note 2, N7100 and N7105(LTE) but it looks like there are more.
I checked the NOTE 2 at my local T-Mobile store and it was SGH-T889.
I am planning to buy a (no contract/unlocked) Note 2 with LTE support. I can buy the unlocked N7105 online but it costs $825.
I was thinking of buying the retail t-mobile SGH-T889 for $650 plus taxes but I am concerned:
1) T-mobile support told me that I will not be able to use any other SIM.
2) Even if I get it unlocked from (cellunlocker.net), will I get any carrier LTE coverage ?
I frequently travel (international) so would like to have a Note 2 which supports LTE for multiple carriers ?
As per this Anandtech, T-mobile note 2 was unlocked and it picked up ATT LTE.
Phandroid also confirmed that t-mobile supports LTE.
I had a chat with Negrielectronics support and they informed that n7105 does not support ATT LTE.
Experts, please suggest/confirm if the t-mobile note 2 will support LTE overall ?
Thanks
LTE are carrier specific in the US. US Lte are incompatible with international Lte. That's why there are different models gsm of iPhone 5.
Buy the Lte model for the place where you spend your most time.

Hi, maybe i'm planning to get Note2 T-Mobile. Please what do you think? Because my story is before my phone was Galaxy S2 T-Mobile using Straight Talk T-Mobile SIM card honestly got down speed in my area Philadelphia 11.5 Mbps:victoryi swear to God). Now because i was getting excited with Note 2, so i bought Note 2 N7100 international. Now I'm using Straight Talk AT&T micro SIM card is very-very sucks, down speed only 2-4Mbps!! Should i stick/keep my Note 2 N7100 international or sell it and get Note 2 T-Mobile (T889)???? But also i love:victory: development forum international device is always more thread than compare US device forum. If you were me , what you gonna do? Because all i know T-Mobile is getting LTE in 2013. Thank you very much. Appreciate.

if u looking for speed...you have to go with att or tmobile branded note 2. No international since us carriers got their own respective frequencies.
If you get an unlocked t-mobile note 2, can you get it to work on ATT voice and data?
wat are your speed and do you need a tmobile rom
or could i install a tmobile rom?
I have a tmoblie note 2. my speeds are about the same. I think. I would love to trade tmobile guy for a att note 2. Outside the of the ER05 wifi error, the phone is great.
Is this possible? I know that there are Sprint Note 2's that can be flashed to other carriers but can I do this with a Verizon Note 2?
