While restoring from a nandroid backup, several minutes elapse while apps are being "optimized".
Weren't the apps already optimized before being saved in the backup?

Depends on the recovery bring used. Optimizing is just rebuilding dalvic cache

Your nandroid didn't include dalvic cache. No worries there - you will have a faster ROM to start with, so it can be a good thing.

if I delete all data in delvik cache, is that save ?
or, wich file I can delete in delvik cache ?
same question. can some1 reply?
Yes it is... generally you would delete it via CW recovery under advanced.. and generally the phone booting then takes longer than normal..so dont worry
Thanks

No, the system will regenerate one again, hence the extra time to boot.

What's Nandroid?
In cwm there is an option: nandroid backup. It's a complete backup of your current rom together with your apps and data. In that way if something does go wrong you always have a backup

If you want to make a nandroid backup, make sure you have 500+mb free on your SD.
These are the only 2 apps saying insufficent storage space when I attempt to update them... running TBGSIII 5.0 and application manager says I have a gig free... Anyone else seen this recently?
Tried the unmount sd and it didn't fix it.

You would have many other issues with that. Did you try clearing the app data and clear Dalvik cache and cache?

Yes i cleared both the app data and both caches... didnt fix it
Uninstall then reinstall. Make a nandroid first incase it won't let you reinstall them.

its likely cwm backups. reboot to recovery and delete your old backups. the phone can't see those... or you can do it from a root shell/adb.
Try lucky patcher and click troubleshooting/remove fixes and backups or if that didn't solved it... Clear davlik cache...

I know this shouldn't necessarily be in this section but I've already PM'd someone and asked on the original thread for help and have gotten no response yet. I understand people may be busy though too. At any rate, can anyone give and exact instructions on how to flash this ROM? They're not in the ROMs OP so...yeah, I'm lost.

I would do a factory reset in TWRP then go to advanced and wipe system. Flash ROM, flash gapps wipe cache and dalvik one last time the reboot.

Use same fresh install method listed in any of my rom threads... I'm not sure about restoring messages I never do it but system data is usually a no no if you have issues with titanium download super su update your binary with the recovery method then go into titanium preferences and click the back up folder location option and change it from sdcard0 to legacy it will ask you if you want to move your back ups say yes then restart titanium and world will be right again

Backing up with recovery will backup allllll of the data from that ROM. It might cause some things to force close in the older version ROM but then again it may not. It will also put unneed data onto your phone if the app isnt installed

To search for what? And you dont need to take the SD card out. Just make sure the "wipe the SD card" is not checked when you go to wipe
