Insufficent storage space - SuperSU and titanium - Samsung Epic 4G Touch

These are the only 2 apps saying insufficent storage space when I attempt to update them... running TBGSIII 5.0 and application manager says I have a gig free... Anyone else seen this recently?
Tried the unmount sd and it didn't fix it.

Would use the GB08 injected with recovery but apparently brightness is broken in it...

You would have many other issues with that. Did you try clearing the app data and clear Dalvik cache and cache?

Yes i cleared both the app data and both caches... didnt fix it

Uninstall then reinstall. Make a nandroid first incase it won't let you reinstall them.

its likely cwm backups. reboot to recovery and delete your old backups. the phone can't see those... or you can do it from a root shell/adb.

Try lucky patcher and click troubleshooting/remove fixes and backups or if that didn't solved it... Clear davlik cache...

Have you tired deleting the apk from /data/app? (Backup those apps first).

Unable to install certain apps from the market?

I'm running the tFF18 ROM and I've tried installing the XDA app and the Crackle app yet it keeps saying it can't install to usb storage or SD card. I was able to sideload XDA but not crackle. I've uninstalled updates, force stopped the play store, cleared cache and defaults, everything and it still won't work. I tried installing by going to the play store on my computer too. Any ideas?
Unmount your SD card. Install app then remount SD card. Happened to me once.

it looks like you have a solution but i handled it a different way. This seems to happen when I'm running a repacked kernel. I used Mobile odin to go back to the stock kernel (not stock ROM). This fixed the glitch without having to constantly mount and unmount the sd card.
I have been able to do thus without problems on 4 or 5 roms. good luck !

Both of the above solutions work well. But check out Agat's lates kernel (2.3). It appears that for some it solves this issue. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1767421

Can't install xda app.

I am running mijjz limited edition 74 ics and it won't let me install the xda app. Any insight would be appreciated. Says can't install on internal or external SD.

If your trying to download from market try clearing cashe in manageing apps, that usually does the trick.
If your tring to reinstalle it with a B/U it could be corrupted or permissions may have gotten borked. If thats the case you will have to reD/L from market anyway.
If that does not work try giving more info on how your trying to install it.
Pp.
OK so I did a clean install of Mijjz's rom. It won't let me install xda app from restore or even when I download from the play store. It is not installed on my phone so I can't even clear the cache. Says not installed could not install on internal external SD. All other apps and downloads are fine. Only other issue I had was trying to restore data to email but had to do it manually since it kept causing exchange to force close.
I had to use my backup pro titanium wouldn't restore it or install from market.

The cache you want to clear is the play store cache.
Also try unmounting your ext SD card.

The rom is pretty amazing looking and smooth. No other apps have been a problem with the rom

Thanks. I'm not rooted so I guess I will have to factory reset. This is really odd. Never had this happen on any of my android devices so it got me stumped.
I rooted and flashed cwm. Clearing dalvik and cache along with change permission didnt fix it. Had to factory reset and was able to side load. Gonna restore my files back via TB and hopefully it wont happen again.

Installing Linaro 10.2

I know this shouldn't necessarily be in this section but I've already PM'd someone and asked on the original thread for help and have gotten no response yet. I understand people may be busy though too. At any rate, can anyone give and exact instructions on how to flash this ROM? They're not in the ROMs OP so...yeah, I'm lost.

Use same fresh install method listed in any of my rom threads... I'm not sure about restoring messages I never do it but system data is usually a no no if you have issues with titanium download super su update your binary with the recovery method then go into titanium preferences and click the back up folder location option and change it from sdcard0 to legacy it will ask you if you want to move your back ups say yes then restart titanium and world will be right again

Backing up with recovery will backup allllll of the data from that ROM. It might cause some things to force close in the older version ROM but then again it may not. It will also put unneed data onto your phone if the app isnt installed

To search for what? And you dont need to take the SD card out. Just make sure the "wipe the SD card" is not checked when you go to wipe
