Shortcut to settings->sound->volumes? - Nexus 7 (2013) Q&A

Hi,
Is there a way to create a shortcut to settings->sound->volumes?
I want to control the volume without having to press the hardware buttons and without third party apps. The only way seems to be to go in settings but that's like 5 taps to adjust the volume. It would be great if I can access the volumes menu directly.

Go to widgets and get the "settings shortcut" widget and select "sound".

Try LMT Launcher.
It's free and has gesture controls and optionally a pie menu where you can assign different funtions to each segment.

Is there a scrolling mod

I use instagram often and get tired of swiping the screen to see all the pictures, is there any mod or app that can make this easier like accelerated or the volume button or an on screen button for up n down?

CM ROMs used to have assignable buttons but I haven't seen that for a while. Might still be in there somewhere but youll have to be rooted to have permissions like that.

Annoying arrows

I pressed volume up and the home key at the same time and it gave me some options. I chose something and now annoying arrows hover above my web browser. Volume up and home no longer brings the menu up, so how do I get rid of the annoying arrows?

Does anyone know of a widget that will show your recent apps in the same view as long pressing the home button?
I found shortcut buttons that are just a button on the play store

I am using VanirAOSP and can access the menu just fine. There is an option within the ROM to modify hardware buttons. Long pressing the home button acts as a menu button for me. I can also use the menu button within PIE to access it if I wanted to.
Thanks for the help

For CM10, default is to double tap the Home button to access menus.
