LTE in Phoenix Arizona - Sprint Samsung Galaxy Note II

I'm getting LTE in Phoenix Arizona at 35th Ave and Bell Rd. Download speeds are over 7mbps. Not bad I guess compared to 3g but its only about half as fast as when I was in L.A. in May.

4g lte in boston

So yesterday a sprint article came out saying they were rolling out 4g lte in over 100 cities over the coming months. I can confirm that boston has towers currently active.
This is probably just sprint yesting the towers as ots very intermittent however while connected speeds are very good.

Data Outage?

I live in Michigan, I can barely connect on Edge now. Is there an outage....?
4G alive and kicking in SoFla.
I been having same issues since monday here in Houston. It is slowwwwww speedtest tells me about 300 kbps or so. It still shows 4G but it is slow, then I go drive around and will pick up fast speed ,12 mbps or so. Like Im posting this now on a slow connection 700 kbps.

I just switched from Sprint and I have to say that I'm extremely impressed. I'm in Canton, Ohio and Tmobile is faster then both Sprint and Verizon.

Same here! I just switched as well, data speeds are anywhere from 10-100x faster than Sprint. Seriously don't know why I put up with Sprint for so long...
Anyway, good to see you over here. My last phone was a Sprint Epic, so I remember you from those boards. Even used your ROM exclusively for a long time

I was assume it could be multiple things. Buildings in your area, interference, and the amount of ppl using T-Mobile in your area can all cause you to get less than expected speeds.
Sprint vs Tmob

Hi ptf, I have the Note II on Sprint and am about to go return it and switch to TMob, are you happy you did? I am only worried about differences in the phone (if there are any negatives) and of course coverage and speeds.
I love that Tmob is GSM since I do travel int. And I can get a small bus plan so my bill is only $50/month compared to $70 w Sprint.
I just replied to you in the Sprint forum

MIDWEST -CHICAGO etc - LTE discussions here, where, when, how fast!

The general thread is 100's of pages long and may or may not be helpful.
Discuss your experience in the Midwest. Illinois, Wisconsin, Indiana, Ohio, Michigan area. (and any state I left out in midwest)
Recently Chicago near town has jumped from kb speeds to 10+ mb speeds which is/was long overdue.
Still downtown you cant pick up 4g or its spotty if you do at all.
You could just search for your city within that thread and see what comes up, and then post your own experience
No.

Orlando Miami and Fort Lauderdale
By the end of June

That will be awesome to be getting it soon. If it's anything like Sprint's WiMax deployment back in 2008 in South Florida, then I wouldn't get your hopes up too early. That crap was so spotty.

If it is going to be in Tampa, does that mean it will cime to saint pete and Pinellas Park also?

I'm in Tampa but I am also new to t mobile. I get fantastic 4g speeds. They are not quite as fast as Verizons lte speeds but a hell of a lot better than what I was getting with sprint.

I got 0LTE For about 10 seconds when driving past the Orange County Convention Center to work yesterday. I've been using GSM/WCDMA though as every time I use LTE/GSM/WCDMA I get no data around the i-drive area or its very choppy all the way from Discovery Cove to OCCC. But I had it enabled yesterday... :/

Typically Tampa is just used as the catch-all name for our area so I would expect that we'd be covered in Pinellas County too.
