At&t replacement rear camera - AT&T, Rogers, Bell, Telus Samsung Galaxy S III

I have a broken rear camera on my metropcs galaxy s3 can i switch the camera with an at&t rear camera?

You can try. If you get it to work you should make a video on how to do it (just so others no how) but technically I'm sure it'll work if you are skilled enough.

I know how to take out the camera from the phone. Im just unsure if an at&t camera will work on my metro.

About the Camera (possible buyer)

Hey guys,
I have a Xperia S but i'm not very happy with it's camera.
Today, AT&T Galaxy S3 is being sold for $500 on 1saleaday.
Do you guys think it's worth the change? I love my Xperia S, but I hate it's camera and Autofocus.
The camera this phone comes packaged with is awesome, one of the reasons I keep finding myself back on stock Rom.

Sometimes its easier. However, I can safely say I've taken maybe 5 pictures since I purchased my first android phone using the FFC. There should just be an option OP, just like the OG note

Glonass gps support?

Anybody knows if this phone comes with it enabled like the Galaxy S3/Note 2? I know the S4 chip supports it but I keep reading online some manufacturers like HTC and LG disable it. Anyone?

Basically I'm looking to see if this phone has the ability to see the extra Russian satellites. Like this picture, the square ones are glonass. Gps is so great getting locks with the extra sats. Person already has issues with her current phone (gs2) so that's my main reason for checking. If not I guess gs3 it is =(

I owned an s2 before this phone and I can tell you that the Gps in the s2 was crap! The difference in the lock on time between these two phones are night and day.. As far as picking up the extra Russian satellites I'm not sure on.

Thanks for the feedback. I'm just going to go to the Sprint store and downloading gps status on one and see what it pulls. I also need to check the Evo lte since I will be choosing out of these two phones.

Nearly positive it does since it uses the S4 Pro, everything after the S4 should have it built in.

That's exactly what I'm assuming. Although some websites say htc and LG choose to disable it on some devices.

If it's anything like my Note 2 I already know! Those are indeed Russian satellites. I'm already sold on getting her this device just for the fact it's a quadcore plus now it's verified that glonass is enabled. I hope development for this phone picks up asap!

Gs4 camera in gs3

Is it possible to actually install the gs4 camera in the gs3? I know people are working with putting the apps in here but I'm talking about the actual camera.

Is it possible? Probably. Has it been done? Don't think so.

NO.
The camera is not an huge improvement over the s3 and even if it would be possible it wouldn't be worth the hassle

That's a nice opinion you have there.
I think the GS4 camera looks ace and I've wanted on my GS3 since it's been shown.

It is good and looks good design wise I agree however I think the s3 can do enough as a camera on a smartphone.
if I'd needed to take pictures each 2 seconds and needed detailed/good pics I would have definitely bought the Samsung galaxy camera.

Bad camera?

So I've been on aosp ROMs for a while now and I know about the whole focus issue with them, but recently I realized my camera won't even focus on the first try. It use to focus just fine, but now it won't focus with the scripted or even on stock. Any ideas?

Ive read that some of the phones that produce bad images period is because of their lenses... are lenses replacable and if so does it matter if its the same phone?

I'm sure the lenses are replaceable, but if you have insurance I would just take it in
