Hey guys. I was running Omega rom for a while, and today i decied i would flash 4.3 paranoid android on my n7100, but when i tried to flash, it kinda went bad, first time it booted with no problem but than i wanted to reboot it to insert SIM and i got stuck on Samsung Galaxy NOTE II N7100 White text screen. I tried wiping everything, reflashin PA and CM10.1 but i cant get past the white text. Not even Boot Animation starts. I can get to Recovery no problem and I even tried reflashing the recovery. It didnt help any.Should i try to flash stock rom via odin? What should i do? It just wont get past the white screen. I repeat, flashing various ROMs didnt change anything.

If you still have a rom installed and it will not fully boot up normally
then simply go into cwm or twrp recovery and do a "factory reset",
after that it should boot normally without any further booting issues.
Since this will be the first normal boot, be sure to give it 3-4 minutes.
Have patience.
Good luck!
Hi Guys.
So i flashed a few roms lately. started with EmotionMiUi then CM10, Omega, Alliance and well a few more.
i did a full wipe and cleared all caches each times and only had a few minor problems with the different ROMS that i was able to fix.
So i now returned to MiUi and have had it running for about a week. Tried some DPi modding yesterday, and did notice that it took longer time to boot and boot into recovery. i flashed the Xpose DPi remover, and continued using my phone. i have rebooted about 3 times today. And the last reboot caused the phone to enter the eternal "Samsung Galaxy Note II - N7100" boot static "animation".
Now i have tried pulling the battery several times, tried booting into recovery and the only thing that will let me boot into anything is power + home + volume down.
i have obtained the official samsung firmware ROM for my phone.
is my way ahead to "just" flash it using Odin, and i will have my good times back ?
Maybe try to clear Data and Cache partitions first?

Just to clear you're stuck at the start screen( the screen it shows Note 2 and model number)?
If so, then i have no clue
If your phone goes in a bootloop ( startscreen then samsung logo animation, blank screen, start screen, samsung logo animation...) I have faced this issue while flashing Stock ROMs and you can clear this by doing a factory reset though i have no clue whether this is the correct one for MIUI ROM.

i was stuck at the very first startscreen that just stayed there. i had been messing around with some DPi and a lot of tweaks.
i used Odin from my PC to flash the official firmware, then i used Philz recovery to format and clean before flashing my MiUi V5 ROM.
ALL works great.
I've been running a rooted pm-600 with clean rom for a week now. I decided to try the new megablast rom and after carefully following install instructions (all wiping done and zip install via twrp2.6.3.3.) I was stuck at the Samsung screen in the boot mode. After giving it some time and not getting past the Samsung screen, I tried restarting and the same thing happened. I used was able to go to download mode and used odin on my pc to flash back the stock rom, but I am still stuck at the Samsung screen. I get the galaxy note 10.1 2014 splash screen, the start up music, blue circle, but then it just hangs at 'samsung'. I have tried restoring stock twice now with the same results. Any ideas :crying:

The only avialable option for you now is getting into stock recovery, wiping data , cache & dalvik., you will loose your data on your internal card, but no other choices.
Thanks for the advice. I discovered that this was in part triggered/or perhaps caused by the failure of a brand new Samsung micro sdxc card. Very frustrating, had just gotten it the day before and all my recent nandroid backups were on it Appreciate the help

Was rooted, and tried to flash MIUI v5 4.8.8. Couldn't do it. So, after reading MIUI forums, they said cannot flash their rom with a touch recovery (TWRP), so I tried to re-flash CWM, wouldn't work. Tried CWM through Odin, nada. Then the phone was in a Samung logo screen, (black and white), and stayed there. So I opened Odin, and reflashed a stock rom UCUNE5 (which worked once before), and Odin said it passed, but when it rebooted, it stayed on that black and white samsung logo. I tried to do it again, and it passed again, but it will not get out of this screen. I cannot get to recovery, it stays on that screen. The only thing I can do is go into download mode, but nothing seems to be working. Have I bricked it beyond repair?
The setup: Galaxy S3 (d2att SGH-I747) running Slim Kat 4.4.4. Bootloader is I747UCUFNJ1 and the recovery is TWRP v2.8.6.0. The phone already rooted with a custom ROM on it. At one point in the past, somebody had tried to install CyanogenMod, but I don't know what they did.
The issue: When I boot my phone, if flashes a "Samsung" logo briefly, then the SlimKat logo, then the SlimKat boot animation in that order. But, when I boot the phone into recovery, it flashes the "Samsung" logo, then a logo that says "Samsung Galaxy SIII" with the cyanogen guy logo below it, then the TWRP splash screen. I am not running Cyanogenmod and am wondering why the second logo appears and how to get rid of it. This has not affect on the performance of the phone, but is something I would like to figure out to better understand how the phone works. Before you tell me to Google this, I have spent countless hours researching this issue and have found only one thread on another forum that mentions this problem with no replies. I cannot find anything about boot logos for recovery, how they get there, how they are changed, where they reside. Keep in mind, I am NOT talking about the system logo or the system boot animation.
What I have tried: When I got the phone, it was on MJB bootloader and have have since upgraded it using Odin and instructions/files from enewman17 and postings on this site. I have flashed his stock rooted ROMS (both MJB and NJ1). I have installed several custom Roms (Cyanogen, SlimKat, Stock_rooted), several recoveries using both the app and Odin (CWM, TWRP, and philz_touch), and at least one Kernel (Majestic 1.0.9). This boot logo remains. The only success I had in getting it to disappear was by flashing progressively older TWRPs and it took back until 2.5.0.0 before it dissapeared. TWRP 2.5.0.0 doesn't even use a logo, so it was probably still there, just not used. The phone works great with everything I have done, it is just this logo that remains.
Any thoughts or suggestions?
Here is what I believe you are encountering. If I am not mistaken Slimroms uses pretty much the stock CM kernel but they have replaced the splash screen to be of Slimroms design. However when you boot into recovery I'm guessing there is a different splash screen that is accessed which is still what cyanogenmod put in the kernel.
Could be wrong but I believe that is the case.
Possibly, but I think I have ruled that scenario out. I have flashed a different kernel and a stock ROM but the CM recovery boot logo remains.
