When I have the phone in my pocket while ringing, the screen is blank after pulling it out of my pocket. I have to press the power button to turn on and answer phone. Is there a fix for this? I've tried running different Roms with same results. I'm currently running Carbon Rom 4.2.2. Please help. Thanks.
If you can reproduce this issue on pure stock (flash ruu), then it sounds like a problem with the proximity sensor. Try cleaning the sensor area (upper left of the phone) and see if it helps.

The problem is when viewing flash video in full screen from the browser, the screen automatically shuts off after a period of time. This never used to be an issue with ICS. I have tried to take steps to fix the problem however I have been unsuccessful.Does anyone have a solution to this annoying problem? Cheers

Well I didn't had any problems like that, but found flash to be unstable, which is because Adobe stopped mobile flash and jelly bean is unsupported

This happened on my mytouch 4g slide. Its a flash issue. This doesn't happen to me on my gnex I'm using com.adobe.flashplayer-111115012.apk on jelly Bean

Is that the latest version of Flash Player or an older version which has been tweaked to make flash work better?

Did you try different browsers. I have a similar problem when using XScope, the screen goes totally dark when switching to full screen.
This doesn't happen with the default browser.

I'm having this same issue on a galaxy s3 running jelly bean, I didn't have this issue when running ics. Did you ever find a fix?
My friend has a Droid Incredible 2, when she launches the camera app she gets multiple colors on the screen. Same result on Sense 3.6 leak and UKB Evolution Sense 4 ROM. Pictures come out just fine and even screenshots, it's just when shes trying to see what shes taking a picture of. Any help would be greatly appreciated,
First question would be what is her root method? Second, has she tried a stock Rom like bonestock?

She used the HTC Unlock method, and the Sense 3.6 was a Bonestock ROM I believe

Did she pull out the boot.img before flashing? Htc unlock has its hiccups and things can't be flashed the same.

Yep, I helped her flash everything so I know it was done right, but with both ROMs is what I don't get. Could it be a hardware issue?
Yeah, maybe the ROM or root isn't sitting right. Have you tried wiping the cache(s) or re-installing/downloading the ROM's? If those aren't the case then try and OEM lock the phone and re-root it again. If that doesn't work, then the camera might be funky.
Gonna see if that works, hopefully it does haha

A 3.6 ROM isn't going to be stock.
Have her try Nitsuj's StockM ROM.

Is there a settings that is on that is causing this? If not it could be a hardware issue.
I think one way of telling for sure is to get rid of the HTC unlock and fully root to see if it has to do with how the phone is handling the flashing of the ROM's. If it still occurs, then I would guess hardware.
I'm gonna see if running the RUU will the problem. That way I know if its a hardware issue or software

My Gnex randomly freezes. It wont react to touch or the power button, the solution is to pull the battery off and restart...

Can the freeze be related to an action or a period of time? Which version of Franco's kernel are you using?
I didnt find any special action that causes the freeze. I am using r365.
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2
Same version as I use. Hm. Do these random freezes happen often? What is your baseband version?
You could try the new safe mode feature? It will temporary disable all third party apps. If that solves the problem, it is a misbehaving app and not ROM/kernel related.

Same baseband as I'm using. Safe mode can be enabled by long pressing the shutdown option from the power button menu.

What ROM are you on. Franco 4.2.2 kernel only works on fully ,merged 4.2.2 Roms meaning that myspider and fingerprints have to be 4.2.2 also. This is at least from my experience. I was getting the same thing on Roms that were not fully merged.

I have been having this problem since i switched to jb 4.2.2 and I've been through 3 ROMs. Aokp, Cm 10.1 and jelly bam. The flicker is still there. Has any body found a solution to this yet? I can live with this but it really bothers me though.

Try rebooting. I think it's a bug in the build from China this week.

I could not get a handle on whats going on with it. Sometimes it snaps on, other times it takes forever or not at all. It's really weird. Right now I'm tethered over wifi so it's working.

Known current issue with the rom. It doesn't handle the /0 folder properly. I just formatted my sdcard to fix the issue, then pulled my data back over.
This is only the 2nd public build for GNex that China has made, so there are gonna be bugs.

init.d support, fixed GPS, fixed TCDMA-64, some kernel optimizations, WAY more stock icons, and weather enabled lockscreen (still not perfect on that,) hosts file patched to block ads, AdFree app is installed (can't get it from Play Store anymore.)
Next build should have a lot more though.

I tried it but no WiFi killed it for me. Probably will kill it for everyone else too. Aside from that, I agree it's a good port.
