Does anyone know if it will be released for the S4 Mini? There already is the S4 variant of the charging kit and battery being sold in local Samsung retailers here in Singapore.
And batteries can be bought for S$50.00 at the service counter if you bring the S4 mini in warranty condition. It will be without a retail packaging though and it is just the battery without the charging kit.
There you go: http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-GENUINE...ories_MobilePhoneChargers&hash=item58a2f58a09
The S4 Mini Battery Kit (LTE) is now available in Singapore in official Samsung stores!
Got mine from the Plaza Singapura branch for S$58.
The service centre staff said that the battery charger in the kit does not automatically turn off when the battery is fully charged, neither does it turn to trickle charging. So you must be conscious of the charge state by looking at the led on the top cover.

I buyed it from Amazon (26€), model EB-K500BEWEGWW for my S4 Mini LTE.
It works very good.
On charging the led is red, instead when the battery is full the led becomes green.

Question, I hear that there are different captivate battery's. some are better then others of the same "kind"
Where is the best place to buy a GOOD battery?
Are the ones on amazon most likely newer? or older crappy ones?
correct me if im wrong but from my readings on forums apparently samsung had a batch of terrible battery's before there were good ones?
and is the standard samsung battery good? or is there a better battery I could buy?
Thanks.
I just order a 2nd Samsung battery via Amazon. I'll report back on how it works when it arrives this week.
Link to what you purchased?
This site wont let me post "outside links" but just look for Samsung EB575152VA on Amazon ~ $15.
You may want to wait until I try it though.
In dealextrem.com there are four models with diferent prices for Samsung i9000.
Yo can select more expensive, more cuality ;-)

Battery arrived yesterday. It is exactly the same as the one that came with the phone. It charged up fine and I've been using for 10 hrs today and still at 45%.
I purchased the "2 battery and wall charger" for $25 on amazon at christmas, and have been using them since. I keep one of the new ones fully charged in my backpack(emergency backup), and swap between the stock and the other one i got from amazon. They are good imitation batteries, but not identical to stock, and I estimate that they have about 90% of the capacity of stock.
The wall charger also has a USB out to charge the phone, but i find that the digitizer acts funny and the touch feature is greatly impacted when the phone is charging via the USB on the wall charger. Other than that, the batteries charge in the phone as well, and the stock battery charges fine on the wall charger, though the wall charger definitely charges slower than the stock one.

check out that thread...if you want the best battery get a genuine samsung battery from an at&t store.
you can get those china made ebay 1800mah batteries but i would just stick to the oem samsung battery. i bought a couple 1800mah china batts and they definitely don't last near a long.

3000mAh 3.7v, comes with new battery cover, $56.00 Shipped, on Amazon.com
Love not having to charge all the time
Ebay - $10 with shipping included already.
2 1500 MaH batteries + 1 battery charger
Works like a charm. Since I got it about a month ago, I never have to plug my phone in to charge it ever again.
Just have the 2 batteries charged and ready to go whenever I need them and swap whenever I need to.

+1 on getting genuine Samsung battery!
Every hicap I ever used for my smart phones, usually swell up quickly (start within a few weeks), and then they don't even last as long as an OEM 1500mah battery. I even had one pop the battery cover off, and leak!
When you get your battery (no matter where you get it from) make sure it's not swollen anywhere (check it often too!), and also make sure it was manufactured within the past year. Old stock, even OEM old stock, is a hit or miss thing... always make sure you are getting good "new" batteries.
LiPol / LiIon batteries deteriorate over time, and are sensitive to heat, keep your battery as cool as you can, and it will last you a long time.
How fast does your device charge up? I'm getting about 2% added every 10 minutes, which means it would take a whopping 8+ hours to go from 0-full. I'm using a sticker I got from another member and it seems to work just fine in terms of getting a connection. NFC is working fine with this aftermarket sticker too.

What do NFC and wireless charging have to do with each other?!
Here is a screenshot of mine and the estimated time to charge using the WCD-100. It depends on how fast your qi charger is, mine is 1A.

What charger are you using because that it not right, just quickly checked mine and it charged 10% in 16 minutes but I think as the charge goes up it gets slower. I'm using the WCD-100 with it plugged into an Anker Astro 3 and using its smart port.

NFC on our devices work by having an NFC antenna in the form of a thin sticker on the rear cover, US models will only have this, while international models have a different sticker on the backside of their device that performs as the NFC antenna and the wireless charging system.

I'm using some cheap no name pad linked to an iPad wall plug. To clarify, does your device come with wireless charging built in, did you get that sticker replacement, or a replacement OEM back cover?

Sorry for the late reply, my phone came with wireless charging. I tested it yesterday and from 2% to 100% it took 3 hours.
What percentage was your battery at? The charge isn't linear - the more the battery is charged, the slower it will be. If it was in the 90s, it would be especially slow. That's a good thing for long term battery life.
I cannot tell the difference between it being plugged into the oem wall charger and wireless charging with my official powerbot (there's some imitations even on the same amazon page) and the airdock. The battery is getting at least as much power as it will accept.

I do get the "slow charging" screen so I don't think it has to do with that, rather the charging pad. Either way, the QI/NFC sticker creates a slight bulge in the back cover, and I can't have that since I'm planning on getting a toastmade skin, I have a replacement OEM back coming in on Friday with QI/NFC built in, if that doesn't help, its time to shop for a new charging pad.
Hey guys what is the best, reliable and long lasting batt. for the S II I9100?
Hey jdog320,
is there such a battery?
What do you mean by best?
Reliable is the official one by Samsung or any big brand?
How much it lasts depends on Kernel, Rom and of course usage.
I changed my original battery after 2+ years with an anker 1900mAh.
Of course it lasts more than the worn out original battery.
Hello mitsos89,
I buyed a anker battery for my s2, too. I did buy a new smartphone battery for the first time and I have some problems, can you help me with it?
I have a siyah kernel with dual boot {4.0.3 stock and cm9 stable with cm recovery} does this affect the battery display {percentage or loading mechanismus}?
I found out that my original samsung charging cable does not load the battery as before with the original battery (I buyed the right anker akku that is made for the s2, the instruction says it is compatible with the original charging cable) Is the charging cable defect (How I can test this?) via my powerbank the akku is loading normally (5V 1A Output instead of 5V 0.7A Output).
I did try to reset the fuel gauge chip but i think the percentage display is not fully correct. I can load the battery normally with my powerbank now but in standby the battery discharges in 4hours or something like that (With original battery it was something like 24hours and i did close all apps and just have wlan activated)
Where can I get them? On Amazon's it is out of stock and I didn't have it found anywhere else on the web.
Please, a group on batteries for know good and fakes ... or for private on batteries. Finally, the great galaxy S2 i9100 deadly for this element...
So now that Anker is not available on Amazon.com after, which one is the next best one ? Original Samsung 1650 ? Samsung 1900 ?

Do you have access to Amazon in India? I know they have a few on there. At least in the US they do.
Sent from my LG V20 using XDA Labs
Hello friend, in Brazil we also do not have the charger, nor the device v20, but I got to buy on ebay , searching for LG V20 Mobile Battery Charging Kit BCK-5200 w Hybrid Charger Case BCK5200
I saw a couple versions on Wish.com. One just a cradle, the other had a slot for a back up battery. That being said, now I am looking for a reasonably priced OEM battery. Suggestions? Also, I have not dug around yet I the setting or wherever, but does the V20 support NFC charging?
I just ordered one from eBay global easy buy. It costs Rs. 4490/- including shipping..
Seller id is : i2cworld_inc3..

If you mean wireless charging, then no. I just got one for a family member yesterday and did research. There are pins for it inside the back panel, but LG never released a wireless charging back. There are cheesy third-party stickers that attach to the USB at the bottom, but they look awful.

I have an spare kit. If you want DM me!
cheap battery charging cradle
I received a $2.52 charging cradle from aliexpress ( https://www.aliexpress.com/item/Mic...ck-Holder-Desktop-For-LG-V20/32819373073.html ) yesterday. I tested it : powered it on my network hub usb port, put my battery in it, it charged it from about 75% to 100% in about an hour or less ... seems to be (very) fine for the price - Hope this helps
Just out of interest, how long do people find that it takes to fully charge their batteries with the official cradle? I normally take out the battery and swap mine for a fully charged one at about 15%, so if anyone could let me know their charging times, that would be great! I'm currently using a cheap universal battery charging cradle.
Also, when you put the battery in the phone, what does it show up at - mine is normally around 95%.
*edit* I finally found one and, so far, so good!

The output says 4.4V at 1.6A so that's about 7W going in
Battery is 3200mah or 12.3Wh
2-3h for a full charge and it should say 100% when fully charged
Hope this site is still active for the S3!
I recently signed up for a Pay As You Go Plan as a backup phone number using my old Verizon S3 which had been sitting around for 3 years without use. I noticed that the battery (original 2100mAh that came with the phone) has bloated a bit and it holds charge for less than a week even without any usage. I purchased an OEM battery from eBay but that lasted even less between charges! I would like a battery that would hold its charge for over a week before requiring a recharge. I would like to avoid having to have two batteries and swap them during the week.
I looked up the suggestions on this site but many of them (Hyperion, Anker, ZeroLemon) are no longer available. I found only the following batteries on eBay.
4800mAh High Capacity Battery + Blue Door For Samsung Galaxy S3 SIII i9300
X Power 4800mAh High Capacity Battery + Blue Door - Samsung Galaxy S3 SIII i9300
EXTENDED 4300mAh Battery + Cover for Samsung Galaxy S3 SIII i9300 T999 L710 i535
4300mAh Extended Battery for Samsung Galaxy S3 Blue Cover Dock Charger
Can anyone recommend any of the above or any other battery? I would like it to last at least a week between recharges. Also, I would prefer not to have to pay more than $20 for it if possible. I am in the U.S.

No, I have not used either one, but they both have decent reviews.
Thanks StoneyJSG! I had given up since not receiving any reply for two months and was pleasantly surprised seeing your response.
The battery at Gorilla Gadgets looks interesting. I will check it out.
Purchased the Gorilla Gadgets battery from WalMart (here).
Received a black back cover instead of blue one. Otherwise, the battery appears to hold significantly more charge than my original battery. After over 4 days after charging, I still have 75% charge left. This is with no use except for turning it on once or twice a day to look for missed calls/texts. It will easily surpass the 7-days I needed so I can charge it once every week or so!
Thanks again OP!:good:
P.S.: Gorilla Gadgets sent a blue battery cover for free!
Battery held charge for 14+ days before reaching 5% level. Very satisfied so far. Will update post if I see anything different over the next few recharges.
Thanks again StoneyJSG and Gorilla Gadgets!:good:
