Best, reliable, longlasting battery - Galaxy S II Accessories

Hey guys what is the best, reliable and long lasting batt. for the S II I9100?

Hey jdog320,
is there such a battery?
What do you mean by best?
Reliable is the official one by Samsung or any big brand?
How much it lasts depends on Kernel, Rom and of course usage.
I changed my original battery after 2+ years with an anker 1900mAh.
Of course it lasts more than the worn out original battery.

Hello mitsos89,
I buyed a anker battery for my s2, too. I did buy a new smartphone battery for the first time and I have some problems, can you help me with it?
I have a siyah kernel with dual boot {4.0.3 stock and cm9 stable with cm recovery} does this affect the battery display {percentage or loading mechanismus}?
I found out that my original samsung charging cable does not load the battery as before with the original battery (I buyed the right anker akku that is made for the s2, the instruction says it is compatible with the original charging cable) Is the charging cable defect (How I can test this?) via my powerbank the akku is loading normally (5V 1A Output instead of 5V 0.7A Output).
I did try to reset the fuel gauge chip but i think the percentage display is not fully correct. I can load the battery normally with my powerbank now but in standby the battery discharges in 4hours or something like that (With original battery it was something like 24hours and i did close all apps and just have wlan activated)

Where can I get them? On Amazon's it is out of stock and I didn't have it found anywhere else on the web.

Please, a group on batteries for know good and fakes ... or for private on batteries. Finally, the great galaxy S2 i9100 deadly for this element...

So now that Anker is not available on Amazon.com after, which one is the next best one ? Original Samsung 1650 ? Samsung 1900 ?

Uni Battery vs Wall charger?

Hi guys, I i'm Uni user who own two batteries, both standard 1620 Dynapack batteries. One of them came with the device as I bought it used. One of them I bought I on ebay, both of show different kind of problems, first on dies when 38% battery left and second one shows bizarre power meter and dies with unknown indication of power left.
For both of these batteries, I charge them with a wall charger which originally for my HTC Hermes aka Cigular 8525. The output I read was 5V and I just found on the Uni batteries it says charging voltage limited under 4.2V
So I'm wondering could the wall charger being the reason for damaging my batteries as it charged them over a higher voltage so they act funny? If so where could I buy a Wall charger for HTC Uni?
Thanks guys~
Hi,
The first battery shows the normal signs of an old Uni battery. The same happend to most people here.
The seocnd battery is a cheap copy, which does not implement the same functionality as the original one.
The charger will show a slightly higher voltage, when measured directly with a multimeter, because it is not providing any current. Normally the voltage will drop as soon as an appliance is connected to it.
So far, everything seems normal.
To get an idea: I bought two Universal standard batteries at eBay, with one month delay (I have two Universals). The first one is much better than the second one, because it will retain power on standby much longer and seems to have a bigger capacity.
Still, the second one features a more impressive label...
I bought them from different sellers: I had to buy a battery for a friend and thought I better use the free shipping. Now I know I should have bought the second battery from the first seller - never change a winning horse!
Cheers,
vma
Also as Universal is an old device I´m not sure that bateries still being made to this date, so perhaps a "new" battery is not really new, as perhaps it is on storage from seller since long time. Just consider that
Dukenukem sold me the original Universal battery and he´s reliable seller

spare battery charger

I am looking for a spare battery charger so I can charge both the standard battery and the official 2000 mah batteries, since i have both i figure i should use both, But the official samsung charger comes with a third batter which i don't need, and I have seen:
http://www.buy.com/prod/samsung-gal...desktop-usb-charger-dock-stand/225147972.html
But i don't know if the 2000mah will fit in the slot given the extra thickness.
has any one tried the second or know an alternative to the first?
thanks

3.7 V Li-ion replacements vs our 3.8 V. Issue?

Got a few chinese batteries...for backup if need be.
Noticed the 3.7 vs 3.8 V.
I know nothing about this and assume they wouldnt send out product not suited for the device...but wanted to ask anyway.
Any concerns?
Thanks
I've read about a Swedish guy trying some cheap and "bigger" Chinese batteries. Even though it claimed to be capable of 6500mAh is was not better than the original 3100mAh. Same discharge speed or worse.
They're the same size. Just wondering about using 3.7 V batteries when ours are 3.8.
The voltage needs to be the same as ours. Don't get anything else.

sorry for popping in ur thread. but i think its good to share/ask here ..
i have a galaxy s3 clone .. on the battery it says 3.7v 2100mah and 10.8 WH obviously the WH rating is false .. but i looked at the battery compartment on the device and it says 3.8 volt .
so what figure to believe ?
since i have the battery and multimeter so before going for replacement how should i determine which voltage battery do i need ?
i am sure that the 3.7 volts batteries are of one chemistry and the 3.8volts are of other chemistry .. so mixing is obviously dangrous..
If you originaly have a 3.8v battery DO NOT replace with a 3.7v.
I have a GN II and my original battery is 3100 Mah and 3.8 volts Samsung. I'm a battery freak and try to make my battery last as long as i can using undervolting, JD, etc. So i decided to purchase a Chinese battery for my phone which was 4200 Mah. I did not realize it was 3.7v as it does not say it on the battery but looking into it further it does say it in the description when i purchased it on ebay, and i obviously overlooked it.
I removed my stock battery and installed the new replacement. It soft bricked my phone immediately and was stuck in a boot loop and i could not get it to come on. Thank God i was able to boot into recovery. I had to reset, reload my rom, and restore everything again. What a hassle.
So idecided to try it again as i really wanted to test the performance of this new battery. This time it worked and booted OK. I fully charged it three full cycles, and started testing. Long story short it discharged faster than the stock battery, and when i put a load on it the battery discharged very quickly. Total waste of time using these batteries. Don't do it.

HI,
I have the same s3 clone, now looking for the suitable battery. I tried with the original galaxy s3 battery but it doesn't work. Have you figured it out which battery does work in this clone? Thanks in advance!

First experiment with original SGS1 battery (1500mAh) have went exellent, about 3 hours. First, no more, rapid fall battery life from 100% to 95% in first half hour, like if charging on GSM device direct. Think, maybe this universal charger have battery calibrator in

Yesterday i was charging my strongest battery for our SGS III, and im little confused. Baterry is capacity 4300 mAh, and from empty to 100 % was charging about 5 hours. Im not electronic expert, and i havent so much knoweledge, but confuse me, after full charging capacity battery is 2939 mAh on 4.2 V. Is it correct for this battery with capacity 4300 mAh, or something is wrong ?
Im asking from somebody battery expert or wit more knoweledge, if can explain me. Foto is attached.
Forwarding thanks on any answer or sugestion.

Nobody? No one?
well, lately you can buy a 10,000 mah battery pack that has 2 usb ports (one at 1a and the other at 2a) for under 50 bucks.
For the most part, not alot of people spend too much time removing and replacing batteries during the day and if they do, i've seen people with docks that charge up both the battery and phone at the same time.

best battery for desire?

i bought Htc DESIRE battery from ebay (seller: ismart80, http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=140933579882 ).
but here started first problem, battery discharges two times faster than stock even it is called as original in parameters.
i tested it with many applications and they also indicate(with tests) that battery is only 780mAh not 1400mAh. also looked under sticker and there is shown 780 mAh number alike below, but works.
can we trust chinese people??
