GoogleContactssyncadapter is on rom... did you synchronized contacts? and not favorites?

I'm currently on a 4.2.2 custom ROM. I have done a nandroid backup. I want to try this rom, but I don't know the consequences of step 2 in instructions. Could I lose my nandroid backup that is on my phone if I do step 2?

i believe formatting data will erase all things on your sd card
so yes
but i flashed PA 4.3 coming from a 4.2 rom without wiping data

Formatting data won't erase internal memory... only system folders like "android" "clockwork" and so on... format data/sdcard in mount&storage will erase all things on int memory...
If your backup is on clockwork backup's folder on internal memory you will lose it performing wipe data and factory reset
personally, before performing fullwipe, i save all my backups in other folders with different names on gnex internal memory.. like "enricobackup" "bakuppi" and so on ..so cwm cannot delete...
Yes.. you can flash 4.3 based rom on 4.2.2... but it would be better flash 4.3 stock, cwm and then a 4.3 rom..

Installation Instructions:
Before flashing do a DARKSIDE.SUPER.WIPE
Flash the ROM
Then do a DARKSIDE.CACHE.WIPE before rebooting.
After the first boot, let it sit for a couple minutes.
*The UVLC8 ICS radio is required.*
There are some reports of Touch Recovery causing problems. This is not 100% confirmed, but if you have any problems try non-touch cwm.
This is a base ROM. It is very similar to CM9, which it is based off of. As development continues I expect it to differ significantly. When Samsung releases the source for the T989 I will begin building the ROM, but until then it will be a base ROM.

It is a .zip you flash before the ROM, it wipes data, cache, etc, but is better than doing it from the recovery. It's not necessary, I just think it is better.

darkside.cache.wipe.zip is also really cool ia use it all the time. its great it wipes cache, dalvik, and fixes permissions. (clears and fixes junk data, easiest way to discribe it)doesnt touch the emmc, sd, system, or data. id grab it to.

Maybe name it Vanilla-ICS (if the name hasn't been taken already)
So far, pretty good... launcher has crashed once but not a big deal.... I look forward to updating soon...

I haven't had any issues with the launcher, let me know if it happens again. I hope to have a update out soon but it's hard to debug when adb isn't working.

3. Boot into recovery
4. Create a nandroid backup (Ignore this if you backed up with MIUI backup)

My play store is not working. I've rebooted twice and wiped the play store's data, still no dice. Here's a screenshot of the error it's giving me. Should I try a reflash?'
Edit: reflashing worked. Thanks for the excellent rom! I love MIUI, and running it on Jellybean makes it even better.

Ive had that issue on different roms before, either
1. remove your google account, reboot, then add again
2. reboot into recovery and format /Cache

You can dirty flash if you want... might need a 2nd reboot before google now is inverted... i tested with a full wipe... but dirty flash should be fine...

You can just flash this after the ROM if you're doing a fresh install...
If you are already running a ROM with regular gapps and would rather dirty flash them, Wipe Cache, Wipe Dalvik, Flash, Fix Permissions...

I tried wiping system this time along with formatting data, wipe cache dalvik cache. I am going to see if its a rom bad download and redownload it. So nobody has the same problem as me?

Hello friends. I want to share whatsapp fix for android 4.4 roms. I did't remember which rom i've extracted files. I only package them and make a flashable zip. I tried it on CM with latest whatsapp from google play and it works flawlessly on my nexus. I think it works with other applications which doesn't support ART.
I don't know who made this fix so thanks to developer who edited this files.
Don't need to wipe anything. You can flash anytime.But

can you guys just goto development and check what is shown there .. before flashing this it used to show ART now it shows Dalvik. Am using DREAMS ROM. And update titanium backup it works out of the box now only whatapp needs the fix.
ART Fixed
The zip post in the OP didnt work for me . The reason I got to know was when i checked DEVELOPMENT it showed Dalvik instead of ART . This should fix that. After flashing it took a while for me to reboot but ART was working with whatsapp and all.
PS:Just fixed the permissions and wallah it was working. I dont know why this has 2 files while the other patch in the general one has only one but none the less this is working for me so i got no complains .

But Xposed changes the runtime to dalvik automatically when you install the framework. Can you please check again if you are in ART runtime b/c I will love to be able to enjoy xposed again with ART enabled.

Well there you have it, no noticable diffrences between art and dalvik haha
