I still have to think this through more, but but I was wondering if anybody would be willing to trade a Verizon Wireless Droid Razr for a Verizon Wireless Galaxy Nexus.
The phone is in pristine condition, no scratches, dead pixels, etc. One catch, and the phone is stuck on one of the ICS leaks, which is not fastbootable back to Gingerbread. You would get my phone as it is right now, with all data wiped.
I would only take a Nexus in just about the same condition post in this thread or PM me for details.

No it isn't only for that. We have a market place for selling and swapping devices, you just don't meet the requirements to see it.

Well if I was looking for a phone... I would post it were people with that phone would read it. Do you think you are asking the right group of people. Last time I checked this is a gnex thread not a moto razr thread.

You should probably ask this question in the Marketplace >>General, especially if he's done any other trades, purchases etc via XDA.
You can also see if he has info on other forums like androidcentral, android forums etc.
And also check his feedback on XDA and contact other people that have dealt with with him to see if everything went smooth.
If he has no feedback or you're still a bit skeptical, ask him if you both cross ship..

To OP, if you looked at the sellers history he actually had 3 reviews and a 100% rating. Actually just looked him up.....It is also good to read through threads and posts they make. You can sometimes get an idea of what type of person they are.

You could also go through paypal if out makes you feel comfortable. Send an invoice of what your selling and 300 (arbitrary number) he sends you the cash and you post tracking number and he does the three same after he receives your phone. Extra step but if out makes you feel better

It might not be the best idea to get a GNex now because they're pretty outdated.
How is it outdated? As far as I'm concerned the s3 is outdated because it's not running jelily bean. The hardware is not that big of a difference other than the ram.

If you look over in the general section for this forum, there is a discussion about doing it for free that already exists, some are reporting good results with that, others not so good. Give a little search over there and you should find it without issues.

Hey guys.
Recently my beloved nexus' radios decided to quit working. I've tried everything to get them back but the harsh reality is that they just don't work anymore. I made a thread in the Q&A section to no avail.
Decided to go with the GS4 so I have an unused somewhat defective, and clearly used phone that is just sitting on my desk. When I went from my incredible to the gnex, I gave my incredible to one of the awesome devs that made that phone so much better. I'm thinking of doing it again because you guys are so great.
So if you are a dev, contact me and I'll so my best to give it to someone who can truly use it. Whether it be for parts or as a test flashing device, etc.
I can ship the phone free of charge through amazon since I work there so there really is no hassle involved.
Just to be clear, the radios (as far as I can tell) don't work, the charging port is a bit loose and sometimes hard to charge, and there are a few scratches on the screen and around the bezel. Other than that everything works. So perfect for a test device for your future roms.
I really want someone to USE the device and not just turn around and sell it, although I would be none the wiser. So let me know if you NEED it.
Thank you to this community (most of you ) and to all the hard working developers that got me thru the last few years. It's been fun.

Well I have one already.
Although, it's the sprint variant.
You see, I don't make that much money, and I got this for christmas, sure it's great, but since it's limited to CDMA, I cannot be flexible with it at all.
It really does suck, I've been wanting to sell it and replace it with a GSM Galaxy Nexus, but no one will buy it, everyone already moved on to wanting the galaxy S4 or something similar.
So I definitely don't NEED it, but it would save me some money with me being able to change to Straight talk.
About the broken radios, I can try and repair it, buy a new charging port, buy a new antenna, etc etc, it'd be a fun project. I've already started some development for myself for the toroplus, and the GSM Galaxy nexus would allow me to fully mess with a semi working Ubuntu Touch OS.
And, if it wasn't given to me, which it probably won't, I actually have a cheap 12 dollar otterbox like case for the GSM Galaxy Nexus, I messed up on the order and got that instead of one for my model.

Friend of mine really wants to start developing for phones. And I told him a nexus phone would be the best. But he doesn't really have the money to buy one and neither do I. So he could really use it and he did some development for his old tablet and as far as I can see he's quite good at it. So I think he would be a real good person to have here on the forums.

Good luck with it. Alternatively, if you're taking a trip out of the country, T-Mobile may give you the unlock code. They're not always quick about it though.

The op is trying to unlock a different device. And I have to be honest, the free unlock we have is much easier to do. Plus its free!
This could help those with the T999L/T999N, but you left out very important information. Such as the website you have to go to, how much does it cost, who does it?

I don't even know how to unlock phone's myself.
Yeah my s3 was unlocked using that method but the xperia zl is a pain in the @$$ but thanks again guys

Just a quick piece of advice....when doing anything to these type devices, never use that feeling lucky junk from Google. If you're really lucky you won't add yourself to long list of bricks that were caused by doing this.
