Cool things to do with Cyanogen!

What are some cool things I can do with Cyanogenmod 6.1.2, I already have all the basics as far as rooting, setcpu, wireless tether and so on. I also flashed the Snap Turbo kernel (freaking amazing). So what are really cool things I can get with it that would not be possible on stock?

playing NES and SNES (even playstation 1) games with a wiimote is probably the coolest thing I can do with this phone.
or how about using the wii balance board as a weight scale? This phone with CM is amazing in so many ways.

supergnes doesnt work on cm7.... idk why

he asked about 6.1.2 though. CM7 is a nightly and doesn't have everything built properly yet. Give it time and everything will work. Have you tried a paid rom like SNESNOID or NESNOID? They seem to work way better anyway.

use "tiger snes" it is free and works with CM7. Besides the icon is green so it kinda goes with the hole 2.3 stock theme.

Frost King - Excellent

Heads up on Frost King. It looks a lot like Pokemon with the same kind of graphics and layout, but is a puzzle game where you solve each level to proceed to the next. It's super simple yet time consumingly enjoyable.

Good morning guys. What ROM is the best where I can play Cut the Rope, Fruit Ninja, Line Runner, and TapSonic smoothly? How about Stock ROMSs?

Don't use AOSP/CM7. There isn't a decent version that handles 3D or 2D FPS well (yet).

Games running way to laggy on TW base ROM??

Ok guys i love Restaurant story but its way to laggy on a TW ROM, as soon as i go on a AOKP CM9, 10 the game runs smooth as butter but i love my TW but the game(s) run so laggy... Trust me ive try so many other options wipe wipe different kernels i think ive try them all even soft brink my phone in the process. So whats the deal here S3 so powerful i think not, my damn gf G2x runs this game smooth .... -.- she makes fun of me all the time. Thanks!

Have you emailed this to the game's developers? I run a ton of games on my S3, all of them high impact, and they all run great, so this has to be an app-specific issue.
Lately I've been playing Asphalt 7, Dead Trigger, ShadowGun, Riptide GP, Ski Safari, Mini Motor Racing, Monsters Ate My Condo, and none of them have lag issues.

Best rom for gaming and battery

I have used my s3 I'm come from ios (ipod 5g) , i think the gaming performance on the s3 was bettery than my touch but it's seem like it's not I play temple run 2 and subway surfer both game have lag (frame drop it's specially temple run 2 ) when my touch 5g play smooth . I try on some rom . Stock 4.1.1 , TPR 3.12 , goodness rom . Result are the same so what i miss ???

I have a s3. I've had an ios device(ipod 5g) and I think that the gaming performance was better on my ipod. For example;, when I play temple run and subaway surfer, both games lag (especially on temple run 2), whereas my ipod plays them smoothly. I've tried some roms(stock 4.1.1, TPR 3.12, goodness rom) and still no difference. What can I do?

My brain hurt so bad after trying to read that post the thread title was forgotten. Besides its a question he needs to answer for himself by trying roms til he finds the one that works for him

I mean, i know, but in general there are some roms that are built for speed while others are built for the aesthetic component

I think you should read and learn about kernel and settings. This will enable you to set up your device for what you need it for. My son can drain his ipod in 2 hours if you don't mind that you can set your S3 to perform at a high level sacrificing battery life. Everything is possible, also if these games require data connection make sure you are on wifi or lte.

Idk what you're talking about because Temple Run runs smooth as helll on my phone. Along with every other game I've ever played on this phone.

Easiest solution is Antivenom EP. It comes packed with KT747 and is lightly modified to save all those precious resources. Pick it up here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2166121. I would do a factory reset,wipe system etc for a clean slate. It sounds like your lag is from something other than the current rom.

Also my s3 charging is very very long . About 5-6hours charging . My friend using i9300 and it charge full only 2h30'. I use my original caple and charger so can you guys tell me . On 3 room i have this situation . Stock lj7 , TPR and now goodness rom @@!

I get full charge in an hour or less. You are doing something wrong or your phone has something wrong with it. I would lean towards option 1 most likely.

I think you better go back to the drawing board and start from scratch.
