Hi I have flashed my D700 to MetroPCS from Sprint using CDMA Workshop. Text and calls work just fine and I'm not too concerned about mms but I can not seem to find working data settings for this phone to allow it to use the internet at 3g speeds. Can someone please help me with this, would be willing to give a donation to anyone that can help me get the correct data settings up and running!
I'll help you out sir. I'm the one who originally fixed picture messaging on the evo and also have one for the epic 4g touch. If you want we can team viewer tomorrow and I'll get you set up

Hi guys. I have a problem with a Droid incredible that my girl owns. So I cloned the MEID from her palm pre to this Droid because it had a messed up MEID when we bought it from Craigslist.
I cloned the MEID successfully and the phone and wifi and Bluetooth all work. But the problem is that the mobile data doesn't work at all. The only method of getting online data access is by using wifi.
Can anyone please tell me how to get the mobile data working again??
Thanks

it's a stock ROM, just rooted and deodexed. Kernel version 2.6.32.17-g9afc16 [email protected] #1. Radio version 2.15.0.07.28
thanks
It sounds like you don't have a server to connect to in your data profile.... open up your dialer. Type in this code ##3282## and hit send....then go in veiw mode and look look around at your proxy address and such in the advance menu and the data profile to see if there is an address in those places

I have brought my Samsung Galaxy S2 to India and is using with Reliance. Voice and SMS are working great. The only issue is its not able to connect to the internet using 3G or GPRS or any such service. I don't see any such settings to do so. Is there any way I can change the APN settings from Spring to Reliance?
Wrong forum. This is not the Epic Touch. This is the original Galaxy S Epic with keyboard.

I did a manual update of my Ting S2 to ICS I can send and receive MMS messages or WIFI and receive over 3G but I can not send a MMS message of the 3g network...Can only send of im sending with Wifi... Text messages work all the time...any ideas how to fix this called Ting and they dont know .....If I use program like GO sms they will send over 3g just having the problem sending with the native messaging app..
Stock messaging app is known for that problem just use sms like you mentioned and don't hassle with it. All I can say is I'm on CM9 and I don't have the issue I used to but not anymore

does she really or does she just see 2 same messaging apps?
if i were you i'd replace the stock one with Go SMS and if you place the messaging icon app on the dock of a launcher just put it there.
Or if she truly wants to update to the latest CM9 and you do have the Sprint Epic 4G one with Keyboard correct because you didn't specify and i saw you said "Ting S2" not sure what that means if you meant as in the Epic Touch??

There's probably something wrong with system/etc/apns-conf.xml or system/app/mms.apk/res/xml/mms-config.xml
Either way, just stick with go for now until they fix it for ya.
Also, this is the galaxy s1 epic with a slide out keyboard's forum. The other one is at the samsung epic 4g touch forum.

I'm posting a guide here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2122697 on how to fix MMS over WIFI with CM10 on Ting, just in case any poor saps like me can't find one googling.
Thanks for the info, after replacing references to mms.sprintpcs.com with Ting's mms.plspictures.com in apns-conf.xml everything works great.
I can't figure this out.
I can not send or reciece mms while on edge network. I have full internet that works on edge, i can browse, i can use gmail, i can do everything except send or recieve mms picture messages. They just sit and spin on "sending" Ive used stock texting client, handcent and go sms.
On 3g/hspa everything is fine.
I go to work and my building doesnt let me get 3g, just edge and i cant use mms. Also, im on vacation right now and i get 4 bars of edge service and edge data, but cant use pictures in mms.
I have a galaxy nexus with purity rom and fancy kernal on t-mobile unlimited data plan.
Help please, i can't find any answers that work on the googles.
Nobody else had had this problem?
