Hi All,
I have a Tilt 2 and today I notice that I have a black stain on back of my screen. I first thought it was due to humidity since I am in mexico right now on vacation. But after playing around I figure out that looks like a burn pixels and also my touch screen fuctionality is not working any more. its like its froozen. I have tried to reset but its not helping.
I am thinking maybe this has happen due to some pressure on the phone during the flight i am not really sure. Do you think the LCD is bad? do I need to change the LCD or is there any other way to fix this. I see these items on ebay. do i need to buy both items?

I would appriciate any help
Thanks.
Update:
Looks like its not a dead pixel. some how the humidity has cause water to go behind the screen between the LCD and front cover. Any ideas how to get ride of it with out opening up the LCD? I tried blow dring but that has not help alot. The strange part is it goes a way after a while and touch screen starts to work but then it comes back again.
any ideas would be appriciated.
Thanks.
Hello, found a few scratches on my Xperia Arc screen and got very disappointed, I thought it had scratch resistant screen, later I took a close look to the screen and found out that it had one more screen layer, could anyone tell me if it can be removed or not, because when I asked SE support team, the operator told me that it can be removed, I just wont a suggestion, help guys.
I would not touch that layer it is part of the capacitive sensor on the screen if I'm not mistaken
yeah, I'm afraid of that too, but support team convinced me in opposite
Yes, you can remove it without problems. I did it in December without problems so far.

how did you remove it? any suggestions to peel it off? It's a bit hard to do that ( with nails )
With my nails
It takes a while to pick up a corner, but once you got a corner picked up it's easy.

Part of capacitive sensor ?? Lol
Anyways..it's just a screen protector..if got scratched,replace it with a new one..
And in this case,i would suggest you to seek some professional help as you might end up making new scratches in order to remove the protector. It's a tough job and needs a lot of love and care d(^_^)
Thank you all, I did it, it really was a screen protector, if found layer like this on your arc , you should peel it off, as a result you get Better colors, touchscreen enhancement and sharper image.
I dont think that we should remove the screen guard. SE provides two screen guards with the handset. One comes already pasted on ur handset and other comes in the box. we need not remove it as it keeps the main screen safe from scratches..
I really agree with your, but that screen protector makes touchpad less sensitive and colors are less vivid, so I prefer being extra careful with my phone then looking at Less Attractive screen
Last time I checked the screen protector I have on doesn't change the quality, clearness or the color of the display. Just saying.
Protect your screen with one. Most of them now a good and leave your screen feeling normal.
i know its an old question but anyway i have one question.how hard is it to peel of the screen protector? im trying it right now and im afraid of braking something, should i force it off or what?
It is glued there so you may have to use some force to peel it off.

Hello everybody I need your advice or help with something tonight I was using my wife's note 2 and noticed there are some bubbles that appear to be coming off the glass.......I have a picture attached and what I mean is that there are like 4 bubbles that I don't know are coming from under the screen. We have a case on the phone but no screen protector and my question is if the screen on the galaxy note 2 is glass how can there be bubbles on the screen - you can actually feel it if you use your nail or finger tip. I've tried to research it on the internet but have not found anyone else with the same issue......would replacing the glass fix it?
Hi,
please have a look at the attached image, cause its hard to explain.
It was kind of strange... it started with some cloudy pixels in the middle of the screen, they went down to where they are now and got more intense.
Its now there since about 4 weeks without change.
Anyone experienced it? I guess I need to replace the screen, or is there any other chance? In case I have to replace it, what would I need to get? The touch screen digitzer or the full lcd display?
Thanks
Susi

Although i'm not an expert on this, But i should suggest you to replace Digitizer only because it seems like Display is okay just chemical imbalance between digitizer and display panel.
If you've proper tool to disable the device and with some flat hard plastic or something try to take this to the edge where it easily go out. To me Display seems okie. Because such things happen when we put phone in tight jeans and due to over compression such happens but it has nothing to with display panel, its just chemical in between display and digitizer.
I had an iPod 4th Gen,. Same kinda Dark black spot i've noticed after single drop on top right corner and later it disappear automatically. So just saying try that first rather buying whole new panel or digitizer. Flat blunt plastic to take that bubble to the side
Hey guys. Today I noticed with a shock that my screen gets blurry when I press it in a certain way. The best way to describe it is to use the example of tft computer screen. I mean when you use your finger and press kinda hard on the screen surface than somehow rings are expanding from the pressing point, like when there is a drop of water on a still water surface. It is weird because it is more in the lower part of my screen. Now my question: does anybody have similar issues or is my screen broken?
Thanks a lot for your help guys!
