MA6 Kernel (Mardon+Androidarmv6)
This kernel is based on the latest androidarmv6 github sources with added SmartassH3 governor.
The Kernel should work on CM10.1 releases from team androidarmv6.
Kernel now available for 4 devices. Galaxy Ace Thread, Galaxy Fit Thread, Galaxy Mini Thread and Galaxy Gio
I dont have a Gio so i cant test it myself on gio.
I also compiled it for Ace and Fit it works, so it should also work on Gio.

Well oh my god, you got my attention.
I got no idea if it's the kernel doing this but the PA rom is now going as smooth as Nexus 4 (more or less)
Awesome work and please do continue the development!
My config:
CPU frequency: 844MHz
CPU gov: SmartassH3
Could you enable the bln in your kernel? Thanks.

Already working on it but its not that easy
Use nstools app to enable bln for now and after that ignore the not supported message in bln control app it will work.

best thing about this kernel, is that i haven't had a netd loop for 3 days so far. that was just about the last major annoyance for me in jb. Also smartassv3 seems stupid fast.
thanks erickas and Mardon.

Stratosk, keep 'em coming!
With today's Jelly Bean 4.1.1 OTA for the Nexus S things are about to get a hella lot more exciting for all of us!
Cheers man!
Stratosk, you are the best! One of the devs I respect the most here! Keep it up man, my phone wouldn't be the same if it wasn't for you.
Stratosk, weren't you on vacation? I warned you to stay off of the computer while on vacation
Thank you so much for this btw. I'm not on JB yet but this is a HUGE reason for the step up. Outstanding job :good:
wow. thats fast. tought u still on holiday? finally my favourite kernel.
This is based on CWM 5.5.... so the backup may not be usable?
How about the vsync feature?
thanks for the work Stratosk..
just clarifying if this should work on the slim beans??
thanks

i wouldn't recommend you to set cpu to 1.8GHz. You will get random reboots.

I hope Aokp update the LG Sourcen for 4.3.
All your Roms run very smooth and my Respect for your work.
the idea was to create a stable version for daily use, 4.3 does not bring great changes and it is still in beta
Still has spanish words, expecially the profile, bluetooth and settings.
Today in the afternoon or evening I will test this ROM after making backup of my current. Looks really promising. Respect by me, too. Good to see people like you and bangsti and many more working on this phone.

Great Rom, so far no problems.
Question bout Kernels, kite is for 4.3 and smoocha only for aosp and will not work in cm based Roms and you are using cm kernel in this Rom.
Or have you tried them all?
Sorry saw that Kite is v11, but what about smoocha?

Had same problem with the translation. But this is only on first boot after installation. You should reboot your phone 1 or 2 times after first boot and then everything should be as it meant to be.
yes, try reboot

I am NOT resposible for any damage done to your device, your neighbor, or any other things you like/hate.
Introduction:
About:
This Kernel is a port from the Z2/Z3/Z3C M5 Kernel based on the official CM12 kernel. It should work with any Rom using the stock CM kernel too (Like Carbon and Liquid). I'm mainly using PAC 5.1, and it's working sweet so far!
Installation Instruction:
THIS DOES ONLY WORK ON UNLOCKED BOOTLOADER!
When you're on CM/a CM based Rom:
Flash the zip file in recovery
When coming from Stock:
Flash the boot.img included in the zip file using fastboot. Flash a CM based Rom then and flash the Kernel zip file again as the Rom overrides the Kernel.

It's still 3.4 based, but as soon as Camera is working on 3.10 Kernel I'm going to work on a 3.10 based M5 Kernel as I'll use it for Carbon and OmniROM builds for my devices too.

You need to ask jerpelea to give you link to the commit on git when everything worked! Last time when I used his kernel everything is worked, only which was lag was some videos but camera if I am not wrong worked well!
Does the kernel work with slim based roms? I have tried V7 and V7.9 with Tesla and unfortunately both are bootlooping.
Kernel works great. If I want to try F2FS support for the amami it doesn't work.
From my experience it is missing the f2fs mount strings in the fstab.qcom file in the ramdisk. Any chance u can add the mounting lines in the fstab file so I don't have to manually apply them?

If you're sure that this is the problem, gladly
Just to be safe though, would you send me how fstab.qcom should look like? That way I won't make any unfortunate mistakes
Wow finally a kernel for CM12.
Thanks a lot!
EAP wifi fix maybe? Or is that not kernel related?

no it is most probably kernel related (not sure though)
However, no fix has been found as of yet, at least I haven't stumbled upon one
