Unable to upload a DP.

I wanna change my picture!!! I always fail to upload no matter what i do. Clear data(Broswer) use my xda app from my phone, different browser from both phone and computer. HELP!!

I've isolated the issue. I don't have a fix for the mobile app as of yet, but for now you can visit http://forum.xda-developers.com/profile.php?do=editavatar in your browser and update from there.

I had this issue a few weeks back and couldn't change it from the desktop site either but then I tried it through the Tapatalk app and it worked perfectly.
I would've reported the problem at the time but I solved it and didn't see any others having the same problem.

Do you mean transfer your contacts from your Sony to your P6? Have you tried exporting them in .vcd format? You could also save them on your sim.... If you have a Google account (which you'll want anyway if you've got an android phone) then simply sync your contacts with your Google account. Easiest way

not really...
for example:
I have a contact 'Peter'
and than another 'P. Big'
and I want them to join into 1 contact...
in the Sony phone I just had to hold on the name and join to another...

I found the easiest way to do is first sync to Google Account,
then manage it using GMail / Google Contact.
From there you can merge multiple contacts as well remove duplicates with ease.

When in contacts>option>more>manage contacts> last one "merge duplicate contacts

camera shoot sound

Hi. Is there a way to shut down the sound when taking picture?

In manual it says go into settings and mute it. But the mute is not in the system tray as it shows in manual any one any ideas?

Camera app have a settings menu inside (three dots on top left corner). This menu have a mute option and it works

Im on B118 and there is no such an option in cam settings menu :/ !?!

looks like they left it off later firware? unless i am missing something?
i can get the iso and all the rest but no shutter sound......dont know why it just anoys me! lol.

Cant delete the bloody file in device/system/media/audio/ui/cameraclick.ogg either as its protected...doh

rooted device and still cannot get rid of sound....wouldnt mind but its loud! lol

It still make the noise when the phone muted. And the video noise is worse lol.

You have to mount the folder RW in ES

And this worked, do the same for "VideoPause", "VideoRecord" and "VideoRecordEnd" and it will mute the video recording sounds

Sadly I still have the timer sound while using the front camera. I seemnnot to be ablento find the fie. :/

Just go on Es file manager or something like that and find that file and just try rename and write what you want i tryed ___.back.ogg and working :3

Apps problem

I dont know what happened but when i restart my phone after charging some apps has duplicated its icon and overlaps one another..

which launcher u are using, had the same prob with APEX

this just gets weird. my bluetooth also turns on automatically from time to time.
is it possible for our phone to acquire a virus from web?

It's just a bug of emui(default) launcher, i also have the same problems but after installing other launcher, the problem is solved..

factory reset solve it. But bluetooth problem still persist.
Tried Free version of Nova Launcher, not sold to it..

[Q] F400s V. 10k smart notice doesn't work

As the title said my smart notice doesn't work after I updated the latest version which is 10k.
Does anyone experience this or has any way to fix my problem here?

smart notice is not very stable yet.
but you can try to change the DPI of it.
