When my phone turns on before I use anything it says the message "Can't download right now. Try again later"
Everything on the phone seems fine and can access everything on phone and internet.
I am using liquid smooth 2.8
franco kernel 3.0.81
Also when I uninstall an app i get this message:
cannot read /data/xposed/modules.whitelist

has anyone else run into this prob? i am running cm6 rc3 and everytime i use pandora it will run for awhile and then just lock up. black screen no button response nothing and i have to pull the battery. i already did a search in here but didnt see any thing so thought id just ask
Try to uninstall the app and then install it again. If that doesen't work go into rom manager and select the option "Fix Permissions", after it prompts you to reboot the phone, reboot the phone and use the app again. Please keep in mind that CM6 RC3 is not the final version of the rom and some bugs still need to be worked out.
I'm trying to nail down the exact procedure for installing Hulu into Roms other than SkyRaider. Specifically I am currently using HeyItsLouFroyo which after trying all the ROMs I could find worked the best.
So far I have downloaded the Hulupack.zip from the OP of this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=764787&highlight=hulu
and the Hulu.apk.zip file from an update to the same thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=7903587&highlight=hulu#post7903587
I tried installing the "install_huluflash_player.apk" but it gave me an error during the install something to the effect of "Application was not installed". From there I installed the "Hulu.apk" which installed successfully. Next I tried "flash_fixed_final.apk" which gave me the same error as the original flash install. Just for grins I launched the Hulu app and to my surprise it seemed to be working until I got a message that said "Unfortunately Hulu is not supported on your platform" I have not installed the updated hulu.apk that I found later in the thread yet. I wanted to first start a thread and see if you guys can save me some time and frustration by telling me what the proper process is for getting this working.
Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
It looks like I may have posted this in the wrong spot. Can someone please move this to the correct spot or tell me how I can move it and where to?
Bump bump

I did not. I just removed the flash app via Titanium and tried to install the flash_fixed_final.apk but received the same error as before.
Now I have no flash at all and still can't install flash. HMMM, now what?
Wait, alright I rebooted and after the reboot I was able to install the new version of flash. I opened hulu and it seems to be working now except it has this issue where the voices are super slow. I remember reading something about this in another forum but I think it was fixed by an update to the ROM. Anyone know how to fix the demon voices?
I have a 100% working Hulu now.
The fix for the demon audio was found in another forum. Here is what I did.
1. Opened Rom Manager
2. Selected "Download ROM"
3. Selected "Ihtfp69"
4. Selected "Goodies for 2.2+"
5. Clicked on the "Download" button
6. Checked the checkbox next to "Revert Audio Fix" and clicked OK.
i'm using Sphongle 20130518 by 1cebox and getting this error everytime i download an app from Playstore...
i cant connect to any website using the browser, but strangely the signal bar turns blue, indicating that there is data network...
after that i try MIUI v5 by sk8erboy, and the same thing happens
i cant download any app from Playstore and cant access any website from the browser
while using myOneV rc 9.5, everything is fine
i'm sure that i have entered the APN correctly in Sphongle and MIUI v5
paranoidandroid 2.99 results in same problem
is there any way to fix this?

i'm getting a little frustrated here...
Anyone able to get the Mash-up add-on? It just hangs at 0% download (v. 1.4 on Gotham 13.1).

I was able to get it installed and running, so idk.
Cancel your download. Then go to the add-ons from System. If you are at the top level of add-ons (eg. you will see "Install from zip file" option), the very first item would be "Available updates". Try that. If it hangs there as well, cancel that. Try going to "Video Add-ons" from Settings/Add-ons and pop up the context menu over Mashup (or whatever name you gave it). Go to "Add-on information" and you will see a link to "Update". Try that.
I uninstalled and started fresh and things seem OK, except there are a bunch of dead links and file not found errors, but no more than usual I guess.

It wasn't working for me either yesterday. This morning it was magically enabled. There were issues with it yesterday I believe at least others were having issues with it to.

i was getting an invalid directory structure error so i downloaded the zip file through my pc browser and it worked like a charm.
FYI, I installed today SPMC latest version, then I tried several times to install MashUP add on and I could not, I tried it more times and it worked, I believe some problems with its server, who knows.
It's working right now.
The way I finally got it installed was to use the url as a source and download the repo and install it from that.
I have an issue that sprouted about a month ago. No matter what ROM I'm running, if I start to download a file (a new ROM zip, for example) it just disappears mid-download. I'll get to maybe 30%, then it's just gone. I have to go back to the link and click download again.
The only way I can sometimes get through a whole download is to change display settings so that my screen stays on throughout the whole download process. If I close my screen or do anything else, like go to another app, the download disappears at some point, every time!
Any suggestions? Phone didn't do this when I first got it or even after I rooted and ran a custom ROM for a while. It just started randomly..
Happened to me too. Was downloading a ROM and it just disappeared twice (once at 99%). Had to download via ADM.
Same here happens a lot to me, happened in community beta and oxygen os.. So using adm now
yep same here too. FreedomOS 1.5.1 (oos 3.2.6)
Same problem for me too. Even while downloading from play store(1GB+ games etc)
Hopefully this is addressed then, because obviously it's not just me.
Is anyone here using chrome as their browser?
I was told to try an alternative. Now downloads are fine. I'm using Pyrope browser. It's great and it's in the play store.
So i had this issue. Last few days nearly all rom downloads from different sources got aborted. I had a homebutton that was a bit wonkey so i decided to wipe all partitions, including internal storage and sideload oos 3.2.7 to see if it would solve that issue.
So i did. And then after reading this thread decided on a little test. I downloaded 4 roms from different sources including from afh and none aborted.
I can't be absolutely sure at this point that the the full wipe did the trick but it sure looks like it. I'll keep a lookout to see if the issue remains solved.
Here the same probmem ... Corruopted file system?
Still happening for me. Is it because of Chrome?
Play store downloads and third party downloaded are fine
It'a a chrome issue.
