My external loud speaker is very very loud but very tinny/rattly sounding.
Is this common on wildfires or do I need a replacement?
If so is their a guide to this job?
Cheers
SC
check if you don't have dirt in your speaker or if it have broken membrane

I think the speaker holes is only located there. The other parts are just for aesthetic purpose. I can tell that this is the same even on the HTC One as I had the device before I got the the z1 compact. Covering the right part of the speaker of the HTC One also stops the sound from coming out.

Hi Everybody,
is anyone else noticing the speaker grill hole aren't completely drilled through?
Also,
much more importantly,
is anyone else hearing a metallic grating noise when sound is played through the speakers? This isn't just high volume distortion, its constantly present even at low volumes. Very shrill, ratchety, and really annoying. Hoping to return and get a new unit if I'm not the only one with these problems.

I can't speak to the noise you're talking about, but the speakers not being drilled all the way through has been discussed several times before. The speakers don't go all the way across, so there's no need for the holes to be drilled all the way through. The extra holes are just cosmetic.

I like these headphones a lot. They're quire fashionable to wear and they feel soft. They can bend so its more transportable then usual headphones. I received them fast in the mail. The sound is actually really good. You can hear audio quite clear. Its even able to work with phone calls. The cord is long and is covered with thick thread. These headphones come with a mic and sound adjuster .
The headphone cushions are really comfortable and just because the headphones in general bend doesn't mean they cant extend. I would really recommend these headphones to any of my friends.

So guys, how's the loudspeaker on this device? The voice loudness and clarity is good for call conference on loudspeaker?
Yep very loud and good speaker in the earpiece.
It gets pretty loud. Weird thing is the loudspeaker is right where the earpiece is, which helps so you don't have to turn your phone onto the glass to get the best sound from the back of it.
Seriously thinking about getting the JBL Moto mod for it.

Hi everyone,
I tried a stereo speaker test (youtube) and I hear that the speaker on the bottom is always a bit louder than the one on the top, no matter what volume percentage I am on. It is not really noticeable in everyday use, but I am a bit paranoid if this is normal with the phone.
Could you tell me if this is also the case with your phones as well?
Thank you in advance.
Yes, it is normal on phones with stereo speakers.
That's cos the top one is an earpiece, not actually a speaker while the bottom one is a speaker, it has those little balls in the speaker housing too to boost audio. Checkout one of JerryRigEverything's teardowns if you've never seen that before.
Normal from my OnePlus experience.

Not only OnePlus. Had s10e before and had bottom speaker louder than the top one.
