error executing updater binary in zip - Upgrading, Modifying and Unlocking

Hello,
I tried to make a mod that sets up bash here but when I try and install it from TWRP Recovery it says "error executing updater binary in zip". What have I done wrong?

I found the problem, there is a missing " in the script.

First off hope you're not using ROM manager - that doesn't work with this device and has been know to brick it.
Sounds like you are. and if not...
As Blues already asked, What recovery are you using.
Also if you are using Mobile Odin you also cannot flash modems with it.
Also more unasnswered questions:
What ROM are you on? GB, ICS, JB?
What Kernel? And what recovery with that kernel?
What modem where you trying to flash.
What steps did you actually take to get into recovery
Toggle Script Asserts to Disabled if it is the same FI27.ZIP from xda then it is a good file. I've used it. Look below on the menu when you get to ”select zip” you want to install. Should show enabled or disabled when you select the script asserts toggle.

I'm going to upload it for you.
Here it is: openrecovery-twrp-2.3.3.0-ancora.img
Complete set of images can be found here: http://goo.im/devs/OpenRecovery/ancora
Easiest way to flash an .img file:
Download it and put it somewhere easy to find, let's say, /mnt/sdcard/Recoveries
Get Recovery Flashing Assistant and edit the script to point to the above directory
Run the Recovery Flashing Assistant script
You'll have TWRP safely flashed onto your W, and you'll also get a backup of your current recovery in the directory in step #1.

Impossible to do OTA update manually via CWM

Hi all,
I'm having troubles in doing the OTA update in recovery.
I have downloaded manually the update (because I have multilanguage MIUI and the OTA doesn't work with it).
I can't do the update, CWM shows an error after validating apply_patch_check.
Is anyone have an idea to resolve this please?
Thanks in advance for your help.

Something wrong with your updater script. Can you open the zip package>Meta-inf>com>google>android> and open updater script and check whats wrong. or ask the dev to check it for u.
I found whats wrong, my rom is in french and the OTA is in english and chinese.

The reason I ask is that happened to me once after doing something... I don't remember what but I had to get write permissions straightened out.
