Hi, I bought a branded\locked e975. I was able to network unlock it via eBay and unbranded with this tutorial, I installed one of the generic portuguese firmwares and all was well. : )
But when I connected the phone to the PC the LG PC Suite told me there was an upgrade available, I updated the phone and now I am on a branded firmware again.
Is there anything I could do after debranding the phone to have LG PC Suite to check\install only the same unbranded firmware. Or after installing a generic firmware I shouldn't use PC Suite anymore to upgrade my phone.

Just received from repair center my G3. After a motherboard replacement, my G3 is now branded with Orange rom (G3 was bought on Orange store). Rom is Marshmallow 30C.
Just wanna flash an unbranded Marshmallow, but i can't.
LG Flash Tools 2014 = Fail
LGUP = Fail
Got LGUP dll installed, phone is recognized D855 on COM port, but i always have packet error when i wanna flash kdz.
LG Flash Tools is not working (Not compatible with MM ?)

Hi, i am from Serbia, and i have Lg g3. The problem that i have is about updating my phone to marshmallow 6.0. I can't find appropriate version of marshmallow for my mobile. I do't want to root my phone, and i found few videos on youtube how to update without rooting your phone,but there isn't kdz for this model d85521a. Does anyone have solution? People who bought phone from europe, or to say models for european market, got update in Serbia. PS. I downloaded lg pc suite, but it says that i already have last version of software.

I think there is no kdz available for mm. So you to flash zips via recovery .
I am wondering if it's possible that putting a no brand stock rom in a previously branded g7 thinq (in my case it was branded TIM) can cause future updates to be unavailable even through LG Bridge. Can there be imei checks by the update software (or other checks) that recognise the device as branded and therefore block updates unless I am using the default tim firmware I initially had?

You can use kdz to update. Installing it with LG up.
i have a tim brand and i want to debrand it, and install pie, and then root it, all the guide i found are older with oreo firmware

I did a lg bridge update 2 days ago and it gave me a tim branded kdz(I was on a non branded) To solve this I downloaded the NEU 20e firmware. I suspect that all 20e versions that are 3.24gb are non branded.
When you have the kdz you will have to use lgup which will wipe your phone!!!
But that should be it.
Iv been flashing firmwares using frija mainly germany firmwares on my vod uk s20 plus and now my phone cant receive otas, and when i connect my phone to pc it only charges it and nothing else, wired earphones dont work either after last flashed, how can i flash the new firmware if ota doesnt work and cant connect to my pc, any solutions
